Hey yo, if you need something, this place has it. Is it June? They got Christmas brew. Is it raining? They have every flavor Boones Farm. Are you underage? They have ice cream.

KP Liquors is really convenient for the nights that I need to grab a quick bottle of wine but don’t want to head all the way to the grocery store. It’s not the snazziest, or the cleanest, so don’t set your expectations crazy high here. Their wine selection is surprisingly large for this kind of liquor store and the prices vary from very affordable to expensive. The only downside to buying wine here is it’s always kind of a risk since the place clearly isn’t air conditioned. I’ve never purchased anything that had gone rancid, but I can’t imagine buying something that’s been on the shelf longer than 2 years so I usually snag a newer vintage.(Though I have seen some pretty old bottles here, a 1999 Kunde Cab for example). The liquor selection is decent, they have all the usual suspects and a handful of craftier choices which is nice. Though, you’re better off stopping off at BevMo or Safeway cause the prices here are a lot higher. The beer choices are kind of meh, not many craft options(if you count Sierra Nevada) but if you’re looking for a tall can, 40oz or «light» beer you’ll be happy with what’s supplied. The guy who usually works behind the counter when I stop by is always really friendly and is usually watching either a local football/baseball game. So if you’re headed home and you need to know the score, he can generally give you a quick rundown of the game — which is always a plus in my book.

Here is another typical liquor store with beer, cigarettes, and scratchers. There is a good selection of wine and spirits. The snacks section has a good variety of candy and chips. The selection of ice cream is small and does not contain any specialty flavors.

After a filling meal at Sabor Salvadoreno a couple doors away, I made my obligatory sketchy liquor store run since it was nearby, looking for some quirky beverages. Nothing too unusual here though they did carry Penafiel Mexican fruit sodas and something called«Hi Ball» club soda. Im a bit afraid of consuming the latter as Im not sure how I feel about chemicaled up club soda. however I had to buy it anyways. I guess it will make a good trophy sitting on the shelf in my office at work
