Jason Amarante

Jason is amazing! My team has hired him for the last several holiday parties (between 800‑1000 people) over the last few years. He is incredibly easy to work with. From the minute we secure the time and date, he is off and running. He knows exactly what he needs to be successful and works very well with everyone involved in the planning process. He coordinates with building management /​event planners /​sound engineers directly to make sure every single last detail won’t hold him back. Once the event approaches, he gets set up early and makes sure that everything is flawless. And then the magic happens — he reads the crowd and slowly amps up the energy to get everyone on the floor. The last event he DJ’d for us, was a smashing success. He had everyone on the floor until the very last moment. Jason is my first go to when I need outstanding talent and professional expertise for my events.

We recently had a perfect wedding, and much of that perfection is thanks to Jason. He is a DJ, yes, and if we were grading him on just that aspect alone, he’d easily get 5 stars – no questions asked. But given the fact that he nailed his duties as MC and overall party-​starter, he deserves so much more than that.
Upon our first meeting, it was obvious Jason knew what he was doing. And, anybody who is in the situation as soon-​to-​be bride or groom, meeting with a vendor who has their stuff together goes a very, very long way. Jason asked all the right questions, was receptive to our requests, and made valuable suggestions. He was truly invested in making sure our night was flawless.
When it came time for that big day, worrying about Jason was the furthest thing in our minds. We had the confidence that everything he told us would be perfectly executed, which allowed us to worry about everything else that commanded our anxiety!
The night’s festivities got started, and Jason proceeded to nail every single song… at the cocktail hour before dinner, then during dinner, and most importantly with after-​dinner dancing. Every single one of our guests were up and out of their seats the moment Jason’s first song started… and I don’t think anyone stopped to take a break until the night was done. Jason was on point with his scheduling and timing; the songs he played and the manner in which he played them were perfect.
And it wasn’t just us who thought so… Jason’s expertise was validated the day after the wedding by everyone texting us and saying just how great of a time they had.
All in all, Jason tells us we were an easy couple to work with. We think it is more of a reflection of his organization, professionalism, and tremendous skills as our wedding DJ and MC.

We were introduced to Jason by a friend, and we are so lucky to have found him. He was fantastic throughout the whole hectic wedding planning process, and was so flexible and a joy to work with this year. He was professional, and so accommodating to guests who threw in some last minute requests. He definitely kept the energy going and I would recommend him 10times over. He’s fantastic!!!

I have been hiring Jason for the past 2 years for our 1000+ person holiday parties and other large scale corporate events and I literally couldn’t be happier with him as a DJ and as a person to work with on pre-​party planning and AV logistics. Before the party he is extremely responsive and quick to check if he is available for the date. He is always interested in getting suggested music before the event to make sure he has it on hand. He is great at interfacing with the venue to make sure all the equipment, load in and power needs are met before he arrives at the venue. During the event he is always on time and ready to get the party started with just the right vibe of music. Jason has whipped up some amazing dance parties with our folks who I would generally not describe as big dancers. He is always willing to take suggestions and plays an awesome mix of new, fun music with classic crowd pleasers. Jason is an awesome DJ and all around amazing guy. I highly recommend hiring him for your event!
