The ride is fun and the line wasn’t very long today. I did it later not working. It’s 249 ft and you travel 62 mph. It’s a ride that has been around for a long time. I remember when it first came to the amusement park.

The best ride for thrills in the park. I am VERY scared of heights and this one freaks me out every time I see it let alone ride it. WAY better at night and not as scary but actually FUN ;)(when you are deathly afraid, fun is a plus. lol) I highly recommend it!

I absolutely love this ride. There are 24 seats in total and about 3 or 4 don’t work. Once you get all the way to the top, you can see the whole city of San Jose(well, almost). This is my number one ride at Great America. You must be higher than 54″ to ride. This ride is not very suitable for kids that are shorter than the height requirement, same for every ride in Great America. So, why not give it a try? =P XP

My favorite ride at Great America… you’re sitting down and gradually lifted up to the top of the tower. The view differs depending on where you sit, but the 22 story/224 foot high perspective will give you a nice view regardless. You’re suspended above a couple of seconds while you look down… then there’s a clicking sound and you’re on your way down, a straight vertical drop of 22 stories in four seconds. I wish it were taller and lasted longer but it’s thrilling every time. It’s common to go barefoot and let your feet dangle as you experience the freefall. Rated 4 out of 5 on the official GA thrill scale.
