Bontrager Framing Service

Jay Bontrager runs a wonderful little framing shop in an industrial row in Santa Clara. This quiet, smart, knowledgeable guy is also a perfectionist when it comes to framing. His wok is impeccable, and he has some amazing framing materials to choose from. He services primarily the wholesale/​professional market, but I have had the opportunity to work with him on many of my personal framing projects (art/​photos I’ve purchased), and every time he’s been completely great– whether I was looking for simple (on a budget) or wiling to invest in something really special.
Jay has helped me select the perfect frames, been flexible and cheerful when I brought him seriously odd works/​broken old frames/​etc, and always done the job on time and on budget.
This is a very different experience than walking into a typical framing shop/​showroom– with Bontrager Framing you know who you’re working with, and the guy you talk to and make plans with is the same one who personally frames your work.
