I joined Accessible fitness 6 months back and I could not target for any better results. I am loosing my excessive body fats and the process still going on :). I joined it as group training session with my other 2 friends. Even though sometimes it is difficult to manage all 3 of us time together our instructors make sure that we cover our missed sessions even 1 to 1. Trainers is very adjustable about that. Trainers are very knowledgeable and give more importance on you form than just increasing weights. Even suggest you to modify exercise according to you body structure and goals. Even though gym looks small it has all the equipment necessary to get hard core training. They also provide diet suggestions personalized to your needs. My shape is getting better every month and would like to definitely recommend it.

I joined Accessible fitness around Nov’15, and ever since there is no looking back for me. I had been trained under Judy and it has been a great experience. I wasn’t ever as happy about myself as I am today. She has not only helped me change my lifestyle, but also gave me a confidence to build myself in a better way. Her style of training is very interesting, it wouldn’t always be the machines or the dumbbells, it would include some outdoor workouts, some HIIT training, so it never gets boring. She makes sure that every effort is taken to build a better you! She will really push you but understanding your limits. I love it when I do beyond her expectation of a workout or lift a certain amount of weight which she thought I wouldn’t be able to, she winks and gives me a big *hi-fi* ! :D and shouts out«you tough –cookie!». She would be as excited as you for the workout. Now that I look at myself over the past few months, I just love where I have got to. Wouldn’t have been possible without Judy’s encouragement. In all, I would totally recommend this place for anyone who looks forward to a positive change in life or would want to look good or feel better!

As part of my personal experience with Judy(trainer/owner) is concerned, she has been very dedicated and her enthusiasm to help achieve my fitness goals has been overwhelming. With her help, i have seen significant improvement in my core strength and attribute my toned structure to her strict fitness régime. I have been training at Accessible Fitness for more than 6 months. I love working with both Judy and Paul. They focus not only on working out, but also stability, core balance and nutrition. Every time I’ve stepped out of the gym I’ve felt maxed out and pumped up. I have seen a transformation in myself from where I started and where I am, not only in my body structure, muscle tone but my strength as well. Accessible Fitness is definitely the place to go if you are looking for a professional trainer with a personal touch and no big gym commitments. Reasonable pricing, personal attention and a commitment to help their clients achieve their fitness goals are the biggest positives for this gym. I was looking for a personal trainer who would work with my neck injury and help me strengthen my upper body. I visited a lot of gyms in the bay area before selecting Judy at Accessible Fitness as my trainer. Judy has been training me for 6 months and I see a significant change in my overall physique. Every session with her has a different set of exercises(6 months and I have hardly had any repeat exercises) making it interesting and not monotonous like other gyms. Do not get fooled by the 30 min sessions since they are intense and packed with some really good workouts plus as a working professional the 30min sessions are conducive and easier to fit in my schedule. I highly recommend Judy, Paul and their team to anyone who is looking for a personal trainer. They offer a complementary personal training session to anyone who wants to join and see if they would like to train here first

I looked into Assistive Fitness because I was looking for a personal trainer who’d help me with my core, and was just starting to plateau in my weight loss program. I’ve relied on DVDs in the past, but wanted help modifying exercises to fit my(non)fitness level. I’ve been very pleased with the results. I’ve lost 10 lbs, my arms have shape and my belly less so, and I just signed up for more sessions. There are 6 or so trainers. I’ve worked with Judy, Mike, and Sam, and like all three. I appreciate the attention to form and ability — they’re quick to modify movement or weight if they see something is too hard or too easy. I never get bored because I get different workouts every time. The clients span a range of ages and fitness levels, and the trainers take a variety of approaches. Most of my workouts have been with hand weights or bands, so once I reach my goal weight(soon!) and can maintain it, I will feel comfortable doing things at home, knowing I’ve learned good form here. They’re at the former Mervyn’s Plaza, now Santa Clara Town Centre. They’re around the building corner from Subway and Baskin-Robbins, and across from Kobe.

I remember asking Paul on the phone if there is a criterion of people coming that start personal training. I don’t think I was in any worse shape before, a 120 pounds overweight with alarmingly high body fat percentage. He assured me that it wont matter and after about 3 months of procrastination I finally took the complimentary session. I was ashamed of walking into any gym before I started training here. 10 minutes into the first session and all that was gone and John ensured that it never came back. He eased me into the workout sessions slowly increasing the intensity and it sort of became a routine, finally one that I was proud of. Judy and Paul checked up regularly on me and going to the gym was no longer a dreaded task. This had been my problem for more than 4 years, the thought of going to a gym was enough to ruin my day but Accessible Fitness changed all that for good. I still have a lot of ground to cover and I am sure I’ll get there with John’s help, day in and day out in addition to Judy and Paul’s constant motivation!
