Great restaurant! Food is delicious. Service is perfect. Cozy atmosphere where you always make new friends because you are dining with the folks at the next table too.

Two years ago we tried Trattoria Vittoria for the first time. Since then we have driven from Santa Maria to dine at this special place for a number of reasons. We did it again last week. The proprietor and his staff are lovely people who provide excellent«you’re part of the family», friendly service. The location is very convenient and the trattoria is always clean and cozy. The menu provides a surprising selection of delectable Italian fare that is sure to please. Soups, sandwiches, antipasti, traditional pasta, meat, fish, beautifully presented delicious desserts, and a great wine selection. Because of our past happy experiences at Trattoria Vittoria we now always look forward to our next visit. Victoria and Ernie, Santa Maria, CA

I have been going to Trattoria for over 10 years now. The best Italian in town hands down! The calamari is to die for. Chef specials are always delicious too

I came here because I wanted to go somewhere else but my bf didn’t want to because the portion sizes looked too small in reviews, so we compromised on this place. I was trying to make a reservation last minute(5pm for 8pm) on memorial day weekend and they were happy to accommodate! When we arrived the restaurant was full but they had a table for us ready to go… so wonderful! We ordered the bruschetta for an appetizer which was bad, you can skip. It tasted like chlorine and the one I make at home is so easy and so much better. For entrees we got the beef ravioli and lasagna. Both were really good but I don’t know how much I can actually vouch for them because I had drank a few generous glasses of wine before dinner, as well as the one I ordered. The service was ok, nothing amazing but the waiter was nice. I give this place a 3 because I don’t really want to go back. I had a nice time but I wouldn’t recommend it to a friend and would rather try another Italian place next time. Sorry!

I love that place. The bread tastes great(often warm and brought to your table), they have fresh burrata, but the best is definitely the raviolis. Dip the bread in the ravioli sauce. Yummy! The service is often good, depending of which server you get but most of them are very attentive to what you need. The prices are correct when you see the quality of the food being served. One of my favorite restaurant to bring friends to when we want to have a good Italian.

Great little Italian restaurant tucked away from the madness of state street. Nice and relaxing ambience. They start you out with a basket of toasted bread. It’s a little tougher and crunchier to eat than preferred, but still nice. I got the gnocchi, which was absolutely amazing. It seriously just melts in your mouth! The pomodoro sauce with it was good. Generic, nothing special. Only downside is that the portion for the gnocchi is a bit on the smaller side. Will probably come back here when we’re in the area again.

Had a great dinner there last night. The pasta fungi was delicious. The staff were friendly, and very attentive; the price point on the food and wine are very reasonable. Best Italian I’ve had in awhile. Would definitely go back again!!!

Love to come here with my husband and my 6 year old. One of the few places that makes calamari the way he likes. The wait staff is attentive without being intrusive, friendly and knowledgeable. The lasagna is always a great choice, love the bresaola and the speck, the tagliatelle con fungi Misti.

I’ve never been fond of Italian food, but while visiting Santa Barbara, a group of friends wanted Italian food; we all voted and I lost.): I ordered the veal tortellini and it was amazing. Omgawwh the sauce was so creamy and rich, as so the pasta was fresh, not chewy or hard. I found myself taking bigger bites after the first. Who would of thought, me eating and loving Italian food would happen. Well this place has won my heart for Italian food. We ordered a few other things, the lasagna, Penni pasta, the meatballs which were all so delicious. The service was excellent, everyone were very attentive, kind, and also handsome(haha). Since then, I have found myself missing this place more than the trip we had in SB. Yes, that is how good the tortellini won me over. If your ever in town, roaming the streets out shopping, come make a stop here. It’s perfect for a nice romantic dinner, or just to enjoy a fancy meal with a group of friends/family.

Tried to call 5 times and they never answered. I reached them the first time and they put me on hold until the call was cut off. Very disappointed.

SORUDE… My wife and I waited patiently for a table tonight at Trattoria Vittoria: about 5 minutes, nothing crazy. Then some random guy and his girl walked in with board short looking like slobs and were sat before us at the table we were waiting for… Whoever was helping us was a complete push over and let it happen, as if we were NOTHING… it was ALL his fault too… he said,” lets all go back together” and allowed this other random couple to skip us in line and help themselves to any table theyd like before us… What a great way to go out for dinner on your anniversay… OH yeah it was our anniversary… my wife and i have been married for exactly 1 year so we came to Santa Barbara since we’ve only driven through… But this town has been nothing but disappointment since we arrived… A bunch of ass holes taking advantage of you, and all you people want is my money… I went across the street and dropped $ 200 on antipasto, wine, entrees, and dessert… You guys sure did CHOOSE the wrong people to cater to… and you had ZERO respect for us as customers and guests in your establishment… Thanks anyway.

An outstanding Italian resturant in terms of food quality, service, and ambiance. The whole branzino that I had was great, but the homemade prime rib ravioli that my wife ordered was one of the best tasting bites that I’ve ever eaten. I wanted to trade meals, but she was having none of that — and I don’t blame her! As mentioned the service was prompt and friendly. A great dinner experience.

Lovedddddddddd the Ravioli!!! Amazing I must say I ended up very satisfied with my food. Little tables for the place. Gets crowded. A nice bar for hanging out. I liked this place a lot. Beware the outside sign is small and hard to see when driving :).

This place is my favorite Italian restaurant in Santa Barbara. Their prime rib ravioli is to die for. It may be small if you’re a big eater, but it’s filling for me and leaves a little room to take the bread and soak up the yummy sauce. The lasagna is also another go-to. The pasta is fresh and homemade. Restaurant itself is cozy, highly recommend reservations. The burrata appetizer is amazing too. So fresh and delicious. And the prosciutto is perfect. Not too fatty or chewy. The vanilla gelato is great, and same with the tiramisu. I am not usually a tiramisu fan but this was creamy and delicious. So maybe if you’re a traditionalist for tiramisu, this might not be what you want… or maybe I have had just terrible tiramisu before this.

Torn between two choices, we ended up choosing Trattoria Vittoria for our anniversary dinner. Great choice! I ended up splitting an arugula salad. Subtle flavors with a nice dressing. My main course was a housemade tagliatelle with a mushroom sauce. Again, subtlety was key here. The subtlety of the sauce really brought out the natural flavor of the mushrooms(which were plentiful, by the way), and the tagliatelle al dente was just perfect with the dish. My SO had the pork shoulder that was on special and it was incredibly delicious. I’m definitely looking forward to coming back here sometime soon!

Came here for an intimate celebration and had a beautiful dining experience. Ordered calamari, assorted crostini, the gnocchi special, the prime rib filled ravioli, a bottle of Stag’s Leap merlot, and a tiramisu. Calamari– fantastic! Lightly fried leaving you feeling satisfied but not greedy. Assorted crostini– mostly tasty. I wouldn’t order again though. Gnocchi special– the boyfriend liked it, but it didn’t blow his mind. Prime rib filled ravioli– AMAZING. Homemade ravioli, generously stuffed with tender meat, in a perfect pink sauce. I would order this every time! Tiramisu– very good. Not overly sweet. Light and satisfying. Stag’s Leap merlot– the perfect companion to a delicious meal. Service– professional, attentive, superb. Atmosphere– intimate. The tables are a little crammed together. Overall, a very nice dining experience and lovely place to celebrate.

Small restaurant. The service was spot on and food was very good. I liked that they used Japanese eggplants for the eggplant parmigiana. Delicious. The raviolis reminded me of dumplings. Thumbs up for the sauces in both dishes. I like the date night ambiance but when it’s crowded, feels a bit stuffy. Not a lot of space in between people. Echhh. Gets busy so you should make reservations on weekend nights.
