He came 5 minutes after my call, it was kinda a coincidence. My Chevy was locked and the key was inside. He came and just took 3 minutes. Perfect skill with good attitude! Reasonable price.

I called Eric looking to have a simple key copy (I’m a little clueless about these kind of things) and left him a voice message. He called me back to tell me he doesn’t necessarily offer such a service, but graciously referred me to a local key shop. He called even though he knew he wouldn’t get business out of it. Eric is obviously a standup guy and, echoing a previous reviewer, it is people like him that renew my faith in what America really can stand for.

Eric is by far the best locksmith I’ve worked with. He solved a seemingly impossible problem with impressive ease. Hard working respectable businessmen like him are what America is really all about. As far as I’m concerned Eric will have my business as long as I’m in the Santa Barbara area.

Eric came over right away and fixed all our doors and saved us a ton of money. He’s handy, fast, honest, reliable and extremely talented. Not only did he fix the locks and latches but he also sanded down the bottom of the door so it would open and close smoothly. He knows his craft really well and works quickly and efficiently. And he’s a super nice guy. He deserves more than a 5 Star rating!

We called Smith’s lock shop for a last minute Marshall eviction. Eric was able to adjust his schedule to accommodate our request. He showed up on time as promised and was very professional! He rekeyed the locks on our rental property and gave us 5 FREE keys. We highly recommend his services and will refer ALL of our neighbors & friends to him! ** Plus, we called & shopped around to find the CHEAPEST QUOTE, AND SMITH’S WAS BY FAR THE MOST REASONABLE & CHEAPEST! =). As such, he will be our locksmith from here on out! Have a blessed day!

Came home early one evening to find my front door of apartment totally not working (now I know what that rattling was about for the lsat week or so. a dying lock). Eventually got in the apartment (quasi 2nd floor no less) and was not also able to exit the apartment via the front door either. Called Smith’s Lock Shop that evening so that I could hopefully use the front door (!) sometime the next morning. They quoted that they’d come between 9 — 9.30 am, and sure enough he was there a little after 9. The whole lock needed to be replaced, and he set it up so that I could continue using the same key. Total time, about ½ hour, from arrival to invoice. Would wholly recommend them.
