I started having massage several years ago to address neck and shoulder pain. Among the many therapists I have had (yes, Zack is both Rolfer and massage therapist), Zack is by far and away the best. He seems to understand the body and intuit particular conditions and needs better than anyone. Once started, Zack works quietly, but seemingly in a non-​verbal communication with the body that allows him to discover the best ways, for that visit, to apply his skills. A massage with Zack is never routine, always helpful in more ways than you expected, and always marvelously effective and relieving. And even though I go for pain management, it is always more than physically therapeutic: I leave feeling better in every way.

I have completed the Rolfing 10 series and additional «tune-​ups» with Zack Frank over the past year and I must say this is by far the best body work I have ever experienced! I’ve had a lot of body work over the years, including Esalen massage, which is excellent, but Zack’s Rolfing is on a whole different level. I was afraid that Rolfing could be too painful for me as a woman in my 60s, but it was actually a relief to be able to release the areas of stuckness. I believe I walk and move better as a result of the realignment this work provided. Zack is a gentle and intuitive practitioner who creates a responsive alliance with the client. If you want some really transformative body work, you need to try Zack!

Zachary Frank is a terrific rolfer. I’ve been to chiropractors, massage therapists, physical therapists, and even other rolfers and Zack is by far the best. Zack was taught by his father who is a well-​established rolfer in Santa Barbara. He is focused on releasing muscle tension and delivers excellent results. I would highly recommend his services, even to those that feel his services are out of their budget. Rolfing by Zack is money well spent.
