Pioneer Floors

I chose Pioneer over their main competitor because a) my realtor told me Jennifer would ‘hold my hand’ throughout the entire process (after I decided to be my own general contractor for a total renovation that I had a mere 45 days to complete!); b) they had a great staff and product selection, and c) their emphasis that proper preparation was the key to a successful completion of gluing down luxury vinyl plank flooring (LVPs. They came through beautifully from start to finish. I especially honor & respect the man who spent two whole days grinding my cement floors to make them perfectly smooth– a job i wouldn’t wish on anyone! And my floors are GORGEOUS, very detail perfect. Jennifer is competent, thorough, understanding, flexible, and has a great group of employees who pride themselves on their product knowledge and customer service. Alex installed terrific top/​down– bottom/​up window coverings that come in a rainbow assortment of thicknesses for various levels of light and privacy. He made a special trip out after installation, when I had a problem with the drawstrings, and made sure all of them were working properly. They did a fantastic job with carpeting, window coverings and luxury vinyl plank flooring– the newest thing, and definitely worth investigating if you’re deliberating between hardwood, laminate or whatever. The LVPs are waterproof, and can be made to look like stone, tile or hardwood– very impressive! Pioneer really stepped up to do a terrific job within very tight timelines. I’m so glad i chose them, and would recommend them to anyone, especially if you’re new to renovating and need someone to take a little more time to help you understand the process and the product.
BTW– I was concerned that there weren’t many reviews on several of the flooring contractors i checked, as someone’s review also mentioned, so you can be sure I’m taking the time to share my experiences, good or bad. We’re all in this together, and people who do great work at fair prices with a good attitude deserve recognition. Unilocal!is a tool I really depend upon!

We just remodeled our kitchen and had Pioneer help us choose the new flooring. They were very accommodating, spending a lot of time showing us the possibilities and getting large samples for us a number of times until we made up our minds. We choose a cork floor which looks absolutely wonderful! We found the folks at Pioneer to be VERY very helpful, knowledgeable and always easily accessible. The installer was on time, polite, and extremely skillful – he even cleaned up after himself. I could not give a higher recommendation!

We pulled up our old wall to wall carpet and found hardwood floors underneath that had been treated like a work bench; stained, badly gouged when drywall was cut on top of them, giant nails driven through and to the subfloor. We called Jennifer who came to look and told us that the floors could be restored. They pulled up the master bedroom and used that wood to patch the other 5 rooms and they laid new oak flooring in the master bedroom. The work was phenomenal! They used a Rubio Monocoat to finish the flooring as we didn’t want a sheen finish. The finished product makes this house look remarkable. These guys all worked really hard to preserve these beautiful wood floors. We could not be happier and would recommend them easily to anyone interested in restoration or new installation.

Small job replacing damaged floors but they did great work, confirmed appts. and showed up exactly as scheduled. Pricing was extremely fair as well.

Thanks to Unilocal reviewers we had Pioneer Floors redo the floors. They returned calls and emails promptly, had a professional crew that did such good work that we decided to add hardwood flooring to the kitchen. We’re pleased with the work and service throughout. In the remodel neighbors and friends have commented first how fine the floors look. Highly recommended.

These guys are the best. There weren’t a lot of reviews when we hired these guys to redo our floors and we are so happy we did. They were fast, professional and helpful.

Jeremy and the entire Pioneer Floors crew were great. They are very profressional, and the work is wonderful. We had them refinish existing oak floors, install new oak flooring in areas to match the existing ones, plus install prefabricated laminate flooring in another area of the house. All areas look fantastic — you aren’t able to tell the new from the old. We’re really hard on our floors, and they’re all able to withstand the wear and tear. Jeremy is great with customer service including hearing what our requests were, accommoding our schedule, and keeping in contact. We would definitely use this company again.
