Being a disabled person on a fixed income, I just spent 10 months in the hospital. You can imagine the shock trying to get my PC fixed now only to discover MAKEITWORK shut down. The company owed me 45 minutes tech time. Hey $ 50 is $ 50, right? Ryan was a good tech, I hope he was able to smoothly move on to another company. I anticipate seeing any class action situations to recoup money owed.

I used MIW for several years and thought they had good – albeit expensive – service. Tried to call them the other day and got voicemail, so I went to their website and see that they closed as of 6÷25÷12. And I prepaid $ 499 in January for service, plus I had some other time left over on the contract, so it looks like I am SOL on this. Not happy at all!

We used Make It Work a couple of times but… the last time the technician got our wireless printer online just fine for $ 135.00 but it quickly went offline again. When I phoned, they DON’T SERVICEOURAREAANYMORE. $ 135 for nothing. No offer of help or any means of satisfaction.

After I posted this I was contacted by MIW by a very concerned staff member. He wanted to help me with my poor service and seemed very genuine in his concern for my dissatisfaction. I guess what is disheartening to me is if I had not Unilocaled they would not have cared about my problems with the company. So I was then told I had to contact Barbara who is in charge of customer service and is the same person that did not give me good customer service in the first place. It took me forever to contact her as I really didn’t want to deal with her again. I finally did and after a bit of phone tag she sent someone out to get my back-up working and it is now working. I have used them since then(we have a support agreement with them) and they were able to assist us.

When I relocated to Santa Barbara last year, my sister and I were in dire need of an at home computer service to help us sharpen our limited«yuppie» skills for our business and for personal use. Our«teacher» Josh came to our home office periodically(we bought a service at home package) and in no time at all we were organized, more knowledgeable and not so fearful of pushing the wrong button. I can’t say enough about these guys. Josh even helped us fix a TV cable issue, checked our wiring and just made our personal and business computer functions smooth as silk. They are HONEST, friendly, knowledgeable, competitively priced for services and just feel like an overall«Godsend.» NO lie. Now that I’ve re-located to LA, I’m thrilled they have offices throughout SoCal and I will be using them here as well. For me, they’re the«only way to fly» with ALL your computer needs!
