Nice place, tasting for 12 dollars, you just choose red or white. You will taste 5 types of wine. My husband and I loved Syrah from Santa Ynes. Just I would like to serve water too. It is good to clean of throat to next taste.

Very cool spot. Wine was excellent. Robby was awesome. If you find yourself nearby drop by. Try the Larner vineyard Syrah. We will be back.

This review is strictly a reflection of the wines. Simply not a fan of the flight that was being poured when I was there. The most palatable was the Cinsault. And just nothing memorable after. Service was great though.

Out of all the wineries in the downtown area this would be my favorite one. The wine is good and the tasting room has a nice vibe to it. Now I’m a huge fan of wines and over the years I’ve become more particular about my wines. This was my first trip to Santa Barbara and it was a great time. Santa Barbara has a great vibe and cool people. However, their wines can’t say the same. This place is the best out of all the wineries. Try to get their reserve zin.

This place was recommended by a lot of other wineries so we stopped in. Although they didn’t have a variety of reds to taste, the 2 pinots that we tried were really good. And the tasting room had a really relaxed atmosphere with great music.

Good wine tastings, worth going to on the urban wine trail. They’ve got a good selection of whites and reds to try but the whites were my favorite.

We love this winery, and have been luxe wine club members for over two years now. We came to do a tasting this last week and were still so impressed with the quality and flavor of the wines here. Ronnie was in the tasting room and he was so helpful and friendly; we felt right at home. They even had a little activity box where our 8 month old daughter could play. We can’t wait to come back!

Meh didn’t like ANY of their white wines here. The wine tending lady wasn’t really friendly, seemed like she was irritated with something happening that day. Everyone is entitled to a bad day and we didn’t let her ruin ours.

Kunin Wines is a small but nice place to hang out and try out different wines. I had my first taste of viognier wine and it was amazing. The tasting area is rather small but it was very comfy and it had a very contemporary look to it. Plus, the room was air-conditioned(oh man the heat that day was killer). The pricing for the wine was fair. I bought a bottle of viognier wine for around $ 40. I’ll definately come back here next time I’m in town.

Our most treasured stop in SB funk zone. This guy knows how to make most amazing Syrahs. BUT it doesn’t stop there… whites pretty darn good. Bonus: Wines are affordable $ 20+ range. Everyday wine Pape Star is now blonde and red. Always a hit at every party we’ve brought this and it’s EZ on pocket book. Popular for small bridal parties, BD, and just a fun stop. For me: so many to choose so why settle on meh? I need GREAT wine! Love GREAT price too. Bonus ++: staff is knowledgeable, friendly and even when they’re super busy the service rocks! .

My husband I really enjoyed the wine flight we had. More so, we appreciated the attentive and informative service we received. They were welcoming, friendly and professional. Even as they got busier the quality of their customer service did not waiver. The atmosphere was bright with natural sunshine and the patrons. We left feeling very satisfied with our experience and a bit more educated by it.

I have been wine tasting quite a bit, but I have never like almost all the wines in one place, white or red, but I seem to like almost every wine they have here. There is a complexity that I like in their wines. Each one is different and depending on my mood, I have an idea when to drink them. I definitely need to do a second tasting another time just to make sure. For now, I would recommend their wines to everyone. Will update when I have a second tasting.

Superb wines locally made by passionate people. I loved the tasting experience. Our host was very informative about the owner Seth and his inspirations behind each type of wine. Taste is personal, for me Kunin Wines satisfies my wine preferences. I tend to gravitate towards wines that are mellow, refreshing, full or medium bodied… there’s no greater turn off than a tart or bitter wine. It’s part of the Urban Wine Trail which is mainly on Anacapa Street(Parallel to State Street). This is near the ocean, it’s a casual hippie chic establishment and tastings are $ 10, they will let you share. Tips: You can easily make a whole day out of wine tasting on Anacapa Street be sure to wear comfortable shoes, it’s mostly flat but there’s a lot of walking. Definitely stop by the Court House(which closes at 4:45pm) and trek up to the clock tower and view the Riviera and explore the building. There’s loads of parking in Santa Barbara both on the street and parking lots most of them offer the first 75 minutes free.

I visited Kunin during a recent trip to Claifornia and was very happy that I stopped in. We came in on a weekday and found some very friendly locals just relaxing and enjoying the tasty wine. The woman working was friendly, offered some good information, but also left us alone so we could just enjoy ourselves. If I were local I think I would be a frequent flyer for sure. There’s only one thing I would change — add some outdoor seating. But overall, great tasting, great deal, great environment.

Kunin is one of my favorite spots in the SB Funk Zone! The décor is simplistic, modern and bright, with a vaulted ceiling and a center island bar. We usually start off here because the wine is good and the service is attentive. The servers are very knowledgeable about their product and the history of wine varieties in general. Seating is limited, there are a few tables inside and out, but I find it best to just stand at the bar. $ 12 Syrah tasting. $ 10 classic tasting(mixed red and white). Try the Pape Star!

Square family friendly tasting room. 3.5 stars Highlights: — Seating: open and inviting feel with a square bar, big oval table off to one side, and a couch off to another — Viogner: nice that they had this as a white option for a change — Staff: welcoming — Toy for kids: the activity block they had was a pleasant surprise. It kept the lil guy who is usually well behaved even more entertained. — Syrah tasting: one of my favorite varietals so was cool to see this Lowlights: — All wine was fine, but none jumped out at me. I didn’t get to try the syrahs as I wanted some white on a warm day. Nice stop I’d come back to when I had more time for that Syrah tasting.
