This was the best breakfast, best meal in fact, that we have had in a week of traveling. Daniel & Alejadra where helpfull, knowledgeable & where attentive & in the spot without being intrusive. Recommend the brioche & all of the egg choices where inventive & delicious. The home potatoes where great also. Best meal this year from a restaurant!

Three visits in and this place hasn’t disappointed us yet. The location is great. Right across from the beach at the foot of State street. The patio is perfect for eating outdoors. Super friendly servers. We happened to hit happy hour, so for the mussels at a good discount. There were more than I expected and the sauce was really good. Risotto was very nice. And my wife loves the shrimp dish. I had a margherita pizza. Topping was great, crust needed to be kicked up a notch. Prices are reasonable considering location. Easy to get out in the $ 15-$ 22 range.

Great view of the beach and very nice service. I had the corned beef hash and it was very good. I would come back again and sit on their beautiful patio.

I love a great brunch. I found myself two hours early for my southbound train to LA., looking for Saturday bruch and ended up here. This place is, at the beginning of the pier and has a wonderful. but. the food not so good. I ordered a dish that utilizes a crab cake in lieu of Canadian bacon for a benedict. After a lengthy time the waiter told us they cooks burned the crab cakes, that they were comping the entrée and a new order would be out soon. This wasnt the waiters fault and we tipped him well, but the second attempt was dry and no crab flavor, just breading. The menu here is adventurous and tempting. but I doubt ill return to find out whether the cooks can create the dish described in the menu

I remember when Eladio’s was a new and fresh Santa Barbara restaurant. Back then Bradley Mansfield did the advertising and the place was crowded, the food was good! One year my wife’s office had a Christmas party there. All the ingredients were flown in from Italy special just for the event. Lots of great food an wine. Best night ever. Fast forward 20-something years… Eladio’s has become a blip in the Santa Barbara locals scene. Have you ever had a friend say«Hey, let’s go and have a happy hour there!?» No! Of course you haven’t. What happened? Except for an axxess card deal I wouldn’t have considered it! But we went. When we arrived we were the only people there. I know it was a Tuesday evening at 6:30 but I imagined how busy Harry’s would be, or Brophy’s and certainly the new Lure… My friend commented«Wow, what a great place to have an affair!» and it would be. Nobody you know would ever see you. I had the NY steak and she had the tri-tip. Maybe we over-ordered and ordered food that was beyond the restaurants ability but the neither of these dishes impressed at all. Mediocre at best. I would say though that the brussel sprouts were absolutely delicious. The wait staff were super nice and attentive! They had to be, their entire night’s tip rested on our shoulders. What happened Eladio’s? I guess since you are still there you are making money. Maybe that is good enough and why would you risk a change. But maybe you should! Maybe a fresh look, a new name«One State Street» would do the trick! What a great address!!! Perhaps a fresh menu. I plan on going back. The empty outside patio looked inviting and maybe the pastas are worth trying. I will be the one sitting with the random blonde, wearing sunglasses with my back to the door.

Axxess card? We had dinner at Eladio” s last night and had a superb dinner. My husband had the pork chops and said they were tender and delicious with a wonderful sauce and I enjoyed the Chicken picatta. BUT, Axxess card holders beware as they will only honor one card per table! ! !

Yes, I’ve only been here once but I can’t help but rave about it. I had always thought that Eladio’s was a tourist trap. No parking lot, on State St and right at the Pier intersection. Had intended on avoiding this place at all costs. That is, until I met a couple of locals at the tasting room who are regulars and go once or twice a week and had only good things to say about them. So I figured I’d give it a go. Brought my mom and two brothers for brunch and we were all very happy with how quickly the food came out. We tried each other’s dishes and agreed that everything was exceptional. –Salmon Scramble(on a bed of hash browns) –Breakfast Burrito(mostly eggs, as opposed to mostly filler) –French Toast(very fluffy and stuffed with mascarpone) –Crab Cake Eggs Benedict Other positives… Great Happy Hour deals They take Axxess(BOGO entrée) Fantastic ocean views Fair prices in relation to portion size and level of quality. No complaints about the service. I give 4 stars instead of 5, solely based on the parking issue which will keep me from coming here on a regular basis. I do look forward to returning for HH and to try their lunch and dinner fare.

Don’t think of this place as a restaurant attached to a hotel. It could stand alone and against the best! We had a need to go to Santa Barbara on a Wednesday night after work and decided to grab a quick meal nearby. More than pleasantly surprised with Eladio’s. And what an awesome address…#1 State Street! We ate inside but we did view the beautiful open air patio. We will have to come back for breakfast and sit out there… and stare at Sterns Wharf and the ocean. From the moment we walked in we were promptly greeted by a sweet young gal as the hostess and our server Jose. OMG, I sure hope his boss reads this and gives Jose either a big raise or a nice bonus(or both) because this guy knows his stuff! And with a HUGE smile the entire visit. He made our evening so fun. Hubby ordered the Chicken Picatta with mashed potatoes and julienne veggies. He loved it and stated that the chicken breast was moist and delicious. I had the grilled Mahi Mahi with risotto and asparagus. Oh my. So yummy. Did I say how HUGE the servings were!!! Well enough that we have lunch planned and already cooked for tomorrow. Don’t let the thought of a café attached to a hotel steer you away. Simply get to Eladio’s for a meal and enjoy!

Beautiful location. Dreadful food. Order a New York steak, it was tasteless, pale, and the steak was very dry. Minestrone soup was bitter. That’s unfortunately after a wonderful day in Santa Barbara.

This place is exactly what you’d expect from a basic breakfast joint. Nothing spectacular about the service or food but will satisfy an empty stomach. The restaurant itself receives 2 – 3 stars at most. I got the breakfast burrito and my girlfriend was recommended an omelet but was disappointed after the first bite. The reason for the bump in stars is that when explained to our server Charles, he immediately handled the situation and replaced the omelet. Not that it cost him anything but he was very understanding and handled the situation with a smile.

I feel like this place is underrated in terms of both food and location! Drinks are awesome, especially enjoyed the mule and blood orange margarita. Their ahi tuna and avocado stack had plenty of fish and a good flavor ratio. They had a lobster taco on special which was really flavorful and had a kick to it You cannot go wrong with the fusilli chicken! I’ll be back for breakfast sometime soon.

Great location, good service, but food is missing something, maybe a good chef? The first time I came around this place was because I wanted to try something different in Santa Barbara. It was recommended by one of the hotels on State Street. And since I always wondered about this place, I dared to try it. I didn’t like it. The fish I ordered was fresh, the salad was fresh, my husband’s burger was okay, and my mom’s pasta was average. Prices were not bad either. Environment was meh. I know they have entertainment on the patio sometimes, but it is a bit small compare to the rest of the restaurant. I went to Eladio’s a second time, not by choice. I tried another salad. It was better than the one I had before. Would I go back to eat there? No, if I want to eat good, I’ll go somewhere else. It is a bit of a tourist trap in my opinion. If someone suggest let’s go have some Margaritas for happy hour, I am there. But I haven’t heard any of my friends say that yet.

Four solid stars for location and service. Really cute place — nearby both the harbour, pier and town with a sweet garden. Nice and observant servers. A bit«basic» food and wine, but more than ok for the price! Long happy hour(4 – 7) with decent prices. Bottled beer $ 4, wine $ 5, apertizers $ 7. We had wine, beer, crab cakes and chicken wings all for $ 23! Much food, ok for the price and great service!

This is a gorgeous restaurant and gets 5 stars for the location. The beautiful patio with the ocean view is to die for and makes a happy tourist’s day. We planned a brunch here for the last day of a bachelorette weekend and were excited. We had a group of 7 ladies, we were starving, and we needed some day drinks to make the drinks from the night before feel better. Mimosas were only $ 6, and the menu offered good Bloody Marys, jalapeño margaritas, and other delicious-looking concoctions. We got our drinks and waited for the food. I went with the tri tip omelet. And then we waited, and waited. Some of us may have gotten into our 3rd round of drinks. We waited for one whole hour for our food. When the waitress asked if we needed anything else, someone said, «Um, our food?» Then we waited some more. The restaurant wasn’t very packed, and the patio was half full. When the food arrived, more than half of the orders were either wrong or had something missing. By that point, we were so hungry that we lost all sense of politeness and etiquette, digging into our food while the girls with wrong orders had to wait for theirs. They understood. My omelet was good, but the slow, indifferent service ruined this place a little for us. Might be a great place to sit with drinks and a view, but we were disappointed.

So disappointed in this place! We had a reservation for Sunday morning, as we were all leaving my bachelorette party weekend. We had high hopes for breakfast burritos and some hair of the dog drinks while looking at the water. First, the place is beautiful and the views, if you can get a seat with a view, are stunning. The bloody mary was really good and so was the spicy cucumber margarita. So so good. Secondly, the service was absurdly bad. We ordered our drinks and our brunches… and then we waited. An hour after we ordered the waitress came up and asked us if we needed anything else… one of us said«our food?». It came out about 20 minutes after that. I’m allergic to bell peppers– so when i ordered the breakfast burrito, I asked that it be made without bell peppers since I have an allergy. My friend also ordered a breakfast burrito. When the waiter put one down in front of me, I asked if it was the bell pepper free one and he said yes. Turns out it was my friends and they gave her mine. To add to that, they FORGOT her potatoes but somehow gave me the potatoes that– you guessed it!- were covered in bell peppers. Stay classy Eladio’s!

Bottom line: Sooo close to five stars! A lovely place to have a meal! The location for this place is so good that you would almost expect it to fall on its face as a tourist trap, but this is a good spot. I hadnt been here in years but I was very pleasantly surprised and happy that my wife and I decided to give it a shot! My wife and I came here for a date night after leaving our baby at home for a change. We sat out on the patio and enjoyed the night along with some steak and salmon. The steak was cooked perfectly and I loved the reduction sauce that it came with. The wife’s Salmon was also prepared perfectly and since she didnt want her onions, they went perfectly with my plate. We got the Crème Brule for desert which had a bunch of fruit on it and in it and was one of our favorites anywhere! The service was also very good. One very classy thing that this place does which is rare is that if you need water, anyone passing by refills your water, or if a plate needs clearing or whatever — everyone working there pitches in and it shows… and I have always said effort shows and lack of effort backhands you across the face with a rotten fish.

Bom restaurante na orla de Santa Bárbara. A pizza individual é bem servida e saborosa. Outras opções ficam no Pier. O preço é bom.
