Their location is great, close to the Paseo Nuevo Mall. I wish the employees were a little more enthusiastic. Other locations have a great energy, this one on State Street is a drab.

All I can say is YUM! I missed in when I was living out of state for sure… Tropical smoothie is good but just isn’t blenders!

They have the best smoothies in the qorld! I would come all the way to Santa Barbara just for a smoothie of this guys. I personally love the peanut butter smoothie but they have many other good options. It’s so creamy and delicious! Love this place. They should open more stores!

Good smoothies, I like the tropical mango. Not the fastest to make the smoothies. Small room for waiting.

Doesn’t even compare to Jamba Juice. I love the Green Tea, Cranberry, and Tropical Pineapple.

Awesome smoothie and milkshake joint! Seems healthy but allows you to add delicious flavors like peanut butter and chocolate into your smoothie. Yum. Only downside is the Styrofoam containers that are bad for the environment.

After eating at Pascucci, which was an amazing place to have lunch at, I decided to go to Blenders in the Grass. I never heard of Blenders before so I thought I’d give it a try. Coming from L.A. I would say this would be the Jamba Juice of Santa Barbara. I ordered the strawberry juice which is a mixture of Apple juice, strawberry, and banana, mixed with non-fat frozen yogurt. Taking the first sip was amazing. The drink was not too sweet and all the flavors blended in pretty nice. There are so many drinks that i haven’t tried but I would come back in the future.

Obviously these guys are geniuses. Clever name and fantastic juices blended to perfection. I always enjoy my experience at blenders in the grass they had the most fantastic vivacious young people. Local style and universal appeal. I just can’t say enough about this wonderful smoothie Haven. I would list a favorite but I keep jumping around the menu.

I was craving an acai smoothie so we stopped here during our road trip. I ordered an acai energizer and it was soooooo yummy! Not overly sweet and full of fruity deliciousness! I ordered a small but the worker gave me a large for free, since she made extra! I would totally come back when I’m around the area :)

I definitely prefer this place over Jamba Juice any day ! They don’t have the super healthy options like Jamba but the prices are for their generous potion is so worth it on a hot hot day ! This place is conveniently located in the Santa Barbra outdoor mall so grab a smoothie during the day! I got the peach with pineapple sorbet. I LOVE peach and pineapple and this was the best smoothie I have ever had. They also have a huge variety of healthy boosts. For FrEe ! I wish there is an LA location !

It was a super hot day and this was the perfect remedy. They have 2 sizes to choose from and the small was pretty big. $ 5 each. Cheaper than Jamba Juice. Their drinks come out quick.

These guys are top notch! Great flavors and value for about $ 5 for a large and $ 3.50 for a small. We went here on Labor Day weekend with a line out the door but the crew still just cranked the smoothies out and we were served in about 15 minutes! Honestly, the management could have staffed better, but the workers were going as fast as they could and very efficient.(We did see a couple potential customers turn around and leave due to the line, so my question is: Is it worth losing $ 10 in sales to save $ 8 that hour by not paying another worker?) I also like that they fill the cup all the way to the top, not like some other places we’ve been where they have a «large» cup but then leave it partially empty. Yes, it is just a glorified milkshake and no, it’s not the healthiest option, but it’s better ingredients than anything you’re going to get at a fast food burger joint.

Located in Santa Barbara on the busy shopping road of State street you’ll find Blenders In The Grass. I was pretty excited when my sister-in-law and I ran into this place. The menu is a little similar to Jamba Juice however their ingredients and combinations are different. They also have a to-go menu to take with you which also provides the nutrition facts along side each drink and item of food. Two thumbs up for that! We ordered the Red Mango, with chia seeds as our free supplement. The smoothie is quite large so it can easily be shared. I can’t wait to come back and visit again, they have a green tea smoothie that caught my eye which I’ve been dying to try.

Not sure if they add sugar in their smoothie, but it’s sweet. I don’t like my drinks sweet. I like my smoothie to be real.

This place seems super popular(my wife keeps dragging me here). They do all kinds of juice things and smoothie-fruity-healthy-nutrient drink things. It’s not really for me but people seem to like it. It’s always pretty busy and the wait for your smoothie is a little long. However, the lay out of the shop makes it even worse. It gets really congested and there isn’t really anywhere to hang out. I can’t help but feel like if they renovated it a little bit it could become a really cool place where people can hang and maybe they’ll be more efficient with their clients.

Great customer service, horrible product. First let me say the staff was nice and we began excited for our treat. We came in for the first time excited and got an Acai Bowl and two drinks. The bowl we paid to get coconut added and they didn’t give it. The drinks they didn’t blend the ice enough and was difficult to drink. They also only have soy and it would have been nice if there was almond milk.

My companion and I went in and just automatically knew it was going to be good. It was a cute little place with little tables and a great ambiance. We ended up splitting the Tropical Smoothie. It was only 5.00 so the price was definitely right. We really enjoyed it. It was the best smoothie I have ever had. It was very filling and served as a lunch meal which was nice because now we don’t have to worry about finding a place to go and get lunch. My only issue is that I did not see anything about it being organic. That is only a minor issue though that very few people are concerned about but I would still like to know if my smoothie was organic or not.

I like the whole supporting small businesses concept, but I continually find Blender’s to be disappointing. If you enjoy Jamba Juice and want a local alternative, this is the place. It’s also fairly cheap. Being that I don’t like Jamba Juice or artificial tasting smoothies, I could happily never go here again. I knew someone who worked here and he admitted the drinks are only healthy in name. Most all of them contain sherbet and frozen yogurt. Robeck’s, to me, tastes better and it’s less artificial. When I order a berry smoothie there I can see the seeds in my cup.
