My friend raved about this place so we went here for lunch today. I’ve never had a «taco al vapor» before (steamed taco) and I found it to be alright, not amazing nor great. It was way too greasy for me, being that the meat is cooked with the tortilla and the juice/​fat is running everywhere. A little pricey as well @ ~2.00 something each

One of the greatest place for tacos al vapor in Santa Ana… I had try other places but nothing compared to this tacos.

This place has to be my favorite place for tacos al vapor (steamed tacos). The restaurant is nothing fancy, and it’s located next to a shady af cantina. What makes this place special and worth the drive are the amazing authentic tacos. The tortillas have a non spicy red chile rub that gives them an almost smokey flavor. My personal favorite are The shredded beef, the meat is cooked in a Adobe style marinade very flavorful. They also make them w potato, beans, or chicken. Very simple, served w lettuce and pickeled carrots. Absolutely delicious.
The reason why I can’t give it 5 stars is the Watered down aguas fescas. Poor quality drinks.
Tip: Go easy on the red salsa. Takes a second to feel the heat but when you do it has quite a punch.

We ordered the tacos el vapor with chicken and with beef as well as a side of rice. The tacos are so delicious. We also loved the spicy carrots that came as a side to the tacos. Big fan!

These tacos al vapor are some of the best I’ve tried… definitely recommend trying this place out.

Best place for tacos al vapor! And their tacos de carne asada are to die for! They’re fully packed, the meat is tender and well seasoned, plus they’re topped off with fresh guacamole! Definitely recommend this place!

Well, I was there in my lunch time, I asked the cashier how much are the Tacos al Vapor and he replied look at the menu ok I ordered 3 tacos Turned my head around while eating. Found out they have 4tacos get 1 free. Omg. The cashier Never advice me about the special. I’m not coming back NO Customer service at all.

Loved the tacos Al vapor the Chile reyeno was amazing will deff comeback, payed about 52 $ for 4 people with is pretty good. Monday through Friday they have a buy 4 tacos Al vapor and get 1 free which is a pretty good deal.

— These are like yummy steamed tacos which have tortillas that are kind of like tamales.
Horchata and Spanish rice are normal.
Tito’s might be hard to spot though — it’s next to El Fracasco bar, just right after the Best Inn Motel, on the right side, heading north on Harbor Blvd.

So I have been here for the past 10 or so but recently they started to get super stingy with everything I mean common there prices are already way up there for what they give you I payed $ 40 dollars for 13 tacos and a cup of Pozole and they only gave me half of a small bag of lettuce and carrots and like 4 sauces I called to complain and the manager said that prices for lettuce went up and hey can’t give Alot anywho won’t be back too expensive and not worth it

Colleague told me that this is the place to eat Mexican style street tacos. I was not sure what he meant by that. So, I naturally bookmarked this joint and tried at this location this past week.
I availed myself to their buy 4 get 1 free taco special. I also got a Horchata. Total came to $ 13.00
Pros:
Unique Tacos. Wrapped in wax paper and steamed. (+1)
Cons:
Horchata was too diluted. (–1)
Expensive for the size of the tacos (–1)

Tried this place out since I was in the area. The tacos was just ok. Maybe I’m just not used to the steamed version of tacos. Service was good and quick.

Titos has two locations. This one and another in Santa Ana at Ross and 17^th Street. The quality of the food is the same high standard and flavor at both. The one In Santa Ana is newer and nicer. But if you’re craving steamed tacos (which I have not found else where) then who cares about ambiance? I was treated equally well with great, great food in both locales. I’ve had the vapor tacos papas, pollo, beef, frijoles, al pastor, and carnitas they were ALL the bomb maybe its because its rare to find… but Of them all, the potato are my favorite. If you eat in they will give you a whole squeeze bottle of sauce so if you really love hot sauce and want as much with your meal as you want, dine in. Great sauce!

Let me start by saying the Tacos Al Vapor or Tuspeños as they are called are 5 star omfg why is this so good. The place is small, pretty basic, hardly no parking. Staff is nice and friendly, but they should seriously have like 1,000 franchises by now.
Simplicity at its best. No weird toppings, no dare to eat meats, just beef, potatoe, and bean tacos.
The magic is in the style the meat is cooked ‘Al Vapor” not fried, or grilled.
I will make the drive from LA to the OC any time for this. Serious comfort food. These are by far the BEST outside mexico.

This place was a little bit difficult to get into as I don’t believe there was an easy left turn into the area. I ended up having to make a U-​turn before right turning in. The parking lot is shared with a few other businesses but I believe there were designated areas just for this restaurant (don’t quote me on that).
When we came, they had a special for buy 4 get 1 free Tacos Al Vapor, which is what we got. They had it in beef, chicken and potato, and we tried all three kinds. The tacos came with salsa, and pickled carrots, and we were also given radishes and green onions. The tacos were really good, everything kind of went well with each other and I felt the quality was pretty good for the price.
Out of the tacos, I liked the beef one most, followed by chicken and then potato. I guess the potato was just kind of missing something for me, but overall it was still pretty good.
We also tried the tamarindo, and it was just okay compared to other places, but I guess that’s a small factor considering how good the tacos were for me.

Hay Dios mio! Que tacos mas magnificos. Verdaderos tacos al vapor, de canasta, como les quieran llamar. Con chile y manteca… Quiero!!!
