Felipe did excellent work on a photo I requested to be enlarged during the summer of 2018. The occasion was a funeral I was extremely emotional he took his time to help me get what I wanted. The finished photo quality was more than I expected. Above that, the personal service given was greatly and still appreciated.

Customer service at The Enlarger is excellent (thank you Felipe!) and passport photos are professionally done in no time. I highly recommend!

I brought my Dad’s high school graduation picture to have restored, my Dad is going to be 90 in 2 months so yes, the picture is very old. It had a hole through his forehead & half of his bow tie was missing, I was expecting to be quoted A LOT more then I paid & I was VERY pleased when I picked up the picture. I was Amazed by how beautiful it looked, Felipe did an awesome job, I have already recommended my friends and family to come to The Enlarger. Service is outstanding. I have used them several times for retoring old photos, making smaller photos from oversize photos and for legal trial exhibits. This is a quality business with personal service for every order. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I am VERY picky! When I met Jim the owner I was able to articulate that point.
However after 3 or 4 jobs… every time being seemingly well received with my anal details… Jim the owner let me know he longer wants my business.
They can do very good work, but, be warned you better like what you get!

A couple of weeks ago we went to The Enlarger to have a photo enlarged of our grandchildren for a surprise for their parents’ 25^th wedding anniversary. We were thrilled with the finished photo and the wonderful, ‘inviting’ service of Jim. He was able to produce the exact size we needed in a very short period of time. We would never hesitate to use the services of The Enlarger again. We were VERY pleased.

I have been to The Enlarger various time and I am always welcomed with a smile. There work is great and you can really tell how much time they put into it. They meet their deadlines which I love!

Out of desperation a few years ago, I needed a photo shop. I looked for a photo shop near my house. Couldn’t find one (digital photography had already started to take over, photo shops were a dying breed). Looked for one near my office and found the Enlarger on the web. Not knowing anything about them, I drove over to check out their facilities, hoping for the best. If you remember photo shops from back in the day, not all of them were good. Some only wanted to print 4″ x 6″ prints off your rolls. No single prints. No size changes. Some glossy only, some matte only. Others took forever. Some used 2^nd rate paper.
I go to a number of signing events and usually pre-​plan and order my 8″ x 10″ photos on Shutterfly. Sometimes I can’t wait a week to get my pictures. This was one of those occasions.
I bring in my digital photo on a CD and Jim, the owner says, «Let’s take a look!» We loaded my photo on to his Mac. While both of us looked at the screen, Jim helped me crop and adjust the color quality so that I knew what the photo would look like before he printed. Just three or four of my photos needed slight editing. He didn’t charge extra for doing this (I still recommend that you edit your photos at home first). I dropped off my small order in the morning and received my 8″ x 10″ prints in the afternoon on the same day!
Jim and his wife at the Enlarger have saved me a few times. The Enlarger is capable of doing digital editing, retouch and repair of old photos, and can even make a life size blowup cutout of you mounted on poster stock or foam core! I’ve only used them to print up some 8″ x 10″ photos. They use high quality paper and the color on the pictures were brilliant. If your order is small and not too complex, they might be able to turn it around on the same day!
I got my pictures, did I get my girls? Yes. Tricia Helfer, Grace Park and Leighton Meester all signed the beautiful prints! Happy, happy Howie.

They might do great work but their customer service was very poor when I visited them a couple weeks ago.
I go in on my lunch and just needed some passport photos. I was actually told to wait «like 5 minutes» because «they just sat down with their Wienerschnitzel.»
I was like really? I’ve worked in customer service for over 10 years and you never make the customer wait on you to eat.
I waited but only because I didn’t have the time to find and get to a new place. I waited about 7min when an older man called to me from behind a wall «You can come on back.»
I walked back, he didn’t say a single word to me. I noticed there was a stool to sit on so I did. He took the picture and finished by saying «alrighty then.»
Wow! not a single word throughout. The only time he smiled was when I paid him. I really wish I had time to find a different place. I will not be going back.

I was referred to the Enlarger by a Framing shop for some retouching and restoration of some old and irreplaceable Photos. All I can say is wow, they did a fantastic job. I had to reorder more copies for others in my family. What a great crew. Thank you Enlarger.

I was referred to The Enlarger by Hector at Pacific Frame. I had 5 large albums from my family, dating back to the 1930s that I wanted to have scanned for posterity. This was a huge amount of work and Jim got it done on time and at the price quoted. The scans are excellent; high enough res that you can actually get more detail out of them than looking at the original photos with the naked eye.

I have been using Jim for over 25 years. The quality of their work is unsupassed. My enlarements are always the highest quality. The shops customer service is even better. I would use this shop over anyone in Orange County. The pricing is reasonable.

The enlarger is so great! I have multiple photo blow ups from this place. The quality is excellent, people are friendly, and they have a very cute yellow lab that hangs out there. I would definitely refer people to them!!! 5 stars baby!!!

I am so happy my normal picture framing guy referred us to The Enlarger! It is literally my new favorite place. They can do ANYTHING. For Reals. I bought a mural online that is 4′ x 6′ and after trying (and failing) at using wallpaper paste to put it on my wall, I thought the best solution would be to get it mounted. The people there are SO friendly, SO helpful, and explain all of your options to you from the beginning.
My mural was actually damaged in shipping but could you tell after The Enlarger mounted it on foam board? NO! It is a miracle! I cannot say enough good things about this place, so stop reading reviews and get over there already!
P. S. They also make real size cut-​outs of people (you know the ones that stand up?). If I had money to burn I would totally get one!
