It has been along time since I could say that I had a meal this amazing. Traditional Italian food and organic goodness! Every dish we had tonight was extremely flavorful and savory. I cannot wait to return. Thank you Matt for your exquisite taste and detail to every ingredient. Lovely night!

Executive Chef Matt Dhillon has the gift of serving up some truly amazing flavors through out all of his dishes. The rustic style menu the Chef offers his customers are enticing and creative in all areas The Chefs prep of all courses are beyond what your palate would expect. My wife and I enjoyed the ambience of his resturant and we are excited about going back for another walk through the tastes of Italy as Cheg tightens up his menu. We are longing for the pizza oven to fire up and enjoy the patio seating along with the many friends we will be bring along with us. Osteria Vicario Resturant an enjoyable experience along with a full bar, wines anf seltzers. Highly recommendable!

My husband and I attended a Preview Tasting at Osteria Vicario on 1÷30÷16. Chef Matt Dhillon hosted the event and presented each of the 6 courses of authentic Italian food. I haven’t experienced this much flavor and texture in a very long time. Everything was perfect, even the dessert was the perfect finish. We will come back here for more date nights for sure! There is a patio for outside dining too. Perfect spot for a date night or with a group of friends. Full bar too. Friends — visit this place when they open in February. You won’t be disappointed! Thanks Chef Matt for a fun and tasty evening!

Attended a preview event that included a 6 course meal!!! Great authentic Italian food made to perfection.!! I absolutely loved the Bruschetta! Cozy atmosphere and beautiful outdoor patio!

Last night there was a small event to taste a sample of the menu. It was a 6 course meal that did not disappoint. We started out with a salad that was light and tasty. Second was a minestrone soup that was very good. The next three courses were three different types of pastas and tastes. All could be a meal in itself! The last was a very light cream over crumbled short bread.
The tour of the building was incredible and to see how everything we become is very exciting. I can’t wait to go back and experience another fabulous meal.

Everyone must try this place out… Unique Italian food, and the service is A+ in a beautiful atmosphere. Amazing food!

A beautiful location in a historic building in downtown Santa Ana with a Parking Structure directly across the street. The 2 story brick building flanked by 2 gorgeous outdoor patios is a work of art decorated in true European fashion. The first floor house an Italian Delicatessen, Italian Market & Craft Coffee Shop. The second floor has private dining & a culinary school. The patios are landscaped & have the tradition café lights, draped above you creating an inviting ambiance. Other features are a wood fired pizza oven along with an outdoor kitchen. The Delicatessen is stocked with quality imported meats & cheeses & they make traditional east coast style sandwiches. The Coffee shop is the only place in Orange County that serves Blue Bottle Coffee’s. The market sells high quality Italian groceries pastas sauces oils wines sweets etc… the private dining & Culinary school upstairs is stunning! You really need to try this place out if your looking for Authentic Italian Products & Food With increadible Pasta Dishes Vera Pizza Neopolitan Styled & so much more this place is a gem that has long been missing from the Southern California Scene. Do yourselves a favor & check it out you won’t be disappointed!
