So I was gonna give this place a 1 star because it is really really terrible in terms of the basketball courts. However, after talking to Lasty K., he convinced me to add another star for that crisply trim grass. So nice you can lay on it without a second thought. FYI Back to the bball courts. They only have one court so you really have to fight for it by showing up and playing hard every game. I have no problem with that. The downside is the court is really in bad shape. The floors are all slippery so you really need some 500 dollar pair of kicks to play here lol. I don’t really see a bathroom area which sucks because there have been numerous times where I’ve seen…(ok no dry snitching today). The only upside is that its so close to home, though I times I would prefer to drive a little bit further in Orange for a better one. Until then this one has to suffice. PS whoever is cutting that grass… give them a damn raise lol PPS parking lot lighting is abysmal PPPS where are my tax dollars going… fix up that bball court asap

Aimee G hit it on the head in regards to the activities available and how nice the park is. It does have lots of shade with the large trees and quite a few benches. Big bummer that there were no bathrooms and the drinking fountain appears that it hasn’t been in operation since the dark ages. The other thing was that nearly all the picnic tables had lots of graffiti. It’d give it better ratings if it had bathrooms and if it was maintained a little more.

When you hear the words«Santa Ana», what comes to mind? . . . . . Yeah, that’s what I thought. What many people don’t realize is that there are beautiful parts of Santa Ana. Stunning, actually. The historic and beautiful Floral Park neighborhood looks like it belongs in Beverly Hills. It is, by far, one of the most charming and lovely neighborhoods in OC. And that also goes for the surrounding areas of West Floral Park, Fisher Park, and Morrison Park. Within the Morrison Park area sits a wonderful park that is the perfect place to hang out with kids, watch a softball game, or picnic under the big shady trees. It has two great playgrounds for kids, especially for the younger ones, and lots of grass to run around on. The play areas also have sand, which is good for all those kids that love to make sandcastles. And, obviously, bad for those kids that like to throw it. Not mine. I swear. Parking is easy since the lot is right next the playground and, during the week, this place is the quietest corner of Santa Ana. Drawbacks — no bathrooms and one not-so-clean drinking fountain. So bring lots of water, but don’t give any to the kids out of diapers. Also, if you’re there after 3pm, there is always the chance that you might have to contend with high-schoolers in the parking lot smoking stuff that I hope they purchased with their legal and valid medical card. Kids these days…
