Leo’s Watch & Jewelry Repair

Guy must have been in a bad mood this morning. bad attitude, rude and for lack of a better word lazy.
I decided to go to his place and give him my business after reading the great reviews on Unilocal but what a disappointment.
So I jumped on my motorcycle and payed him a visit being that he was the only shop that was opened at the time I went.
Simple battery replacement is 3 times more expensive than what I’m accustomed to pay, so when I expressed my thoughts on the price he handed me the watch back and walked away and i quote «your watch is a complicated one and it’s too much work! «
Really? Too much work? Woww
Little did you know that I had 4 other Nixon watches in my backpack all needing service.
The place is hard to find and parking isn’t the best.

Great place! I changed my Swiss Army watch battery and it was $ 12. I also had a necklace chain replaced and it was $ 5. I went to pick up food and came back in 10 minutes and it was done! Great service and quick! Highly Recommend!

I bought a new watch on a cruise and they adjusted the band so it was super loose on my wrist. Drove me nuts.
I work in the area.
Walked over there.
Leo offered to fix it for 5 dollars. He took a link out of the band.
We chatted while he worked super nice guy and honest.
I tried to tip him and he wouldn’t take it.
Wow I wish all establishments were like this.

I came in needing a link removed on my watch and they had it done in 5 minutes for less than 5 bucks! I was expecting to leave it overnight but they went to work on it right away. Friendly people, too. I would highly recommend this place to others (and will be back when I need my battery changed).

Came in expecting to leave my watch at least overnight. I told Leo what the problem was, he went to his desk for a few minutes, a couple of sparks started flying, and voila! He came back with my watch as good as new. Not only exceptional, quick service, but also an incredible price. Very friendly place.

I needed a couple of watch batteries replaced. For one watch, a Tommy Bahama bought at Costco, the guy said the insides were dirty and it wasn’t a good mechanism. He put a new battery in, we went to lunch, and it stopped working. We went back, he said he could clean it ($ 35), but he didn’t recommend that, as he didn’t think it would help. So he returned what we’d paid. Pretty honest. (Costco is going to hear about this! The watch is only a year old and worn maybe 5 times!)
My wife got a cool blue band for her Swiss Army watch. He fixed a couple of pairs of her earrings. He also secured a clasp on a fine piece of jewelry my wife had bought on a recent trip to France, no charge for that one.
So, when you come to lunch in DTSA and you need a new watch battery or some work done on jewelry you don’t wear anymore, stop in here. The work will be finished by the time your lunch bill is paid.

Stopped by to have two watch batteries replaced & a necklace repaired… Leo didn’t hesitate to do it on the spot, 15 – 20 mins later he was done… :0) The fair price, excellent customer service and friendly folks were a treat. I’ll be doing business with them in the future.

I never bother to write reviews, but WOW! Leo took really good care of my wedding rings! I took my rings in today because the mounting of my engagement ring had broken off.
Months ago I took my ring to a jewelry repair shop and the man kept my ring for a week and when I went back to pick it up, the matte finish was «shined off» and it didn’t match my wedding band anymore. I paid the man and put my ring on and left. That same day accidentally hit my car for to open it when I got home, and the mounting on my engagement ring broke AGAIN! I was sad and I good it from my husband until today.
Leo not only fixed my broken ring and advised me the «bad jewelry repair guy» GLUED the mounting onto my engagement ring, (he was open today, on Labor Day!) But he also somehow completely refinished (reapplied/​etched the matte) my rings the way they were before the «bad jewelry repair man» got his hands on them. My rings look like they do the day my husband and I got married! I would recommend his shop to my closest friends and family. Thank you Leo! His wife is also a very lovely person! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
