Sandwiches are still relatively cheaper than meals elsewhere, but the quantity feels more like a big snack than an actual meal. I normally get the BBQ or grilled pork. You can ask for extra jalapeño’s if you enjoy that extra kick. Bread is really fresh but don’t let it sit or else it’ll quickly get hard. Service is pretty bad but hey, what do you expect? One time, a cashier couldn’t even do simple math and gave me a few bucks short… Overall, their Viet sandwiches are worth the price and they have a large menu of options.

Their sandwiches are pretty standard for Lee’s. Of course there are better, authentic places just a short drive to Westminster, so it’s pretty unfair to compare a chain. But I can say that I haven’t been disappointed in their sandwiches(croissant or banh mi). The low rating is for the iced coffee. When I lived in Long Beach, Lee’s was my jam when I had to stay awake and study for school. Every single time I’ve been to this location, my cup has been 90% ice. Every. Single. Time. I wouldn’t have stopped by this morning if my other go-to opened earlier, but I needed my Vietnamese coffee for productivity at 8am after a long night shift. So disappointing. As I’m attempting to suck down my large coffee now, I’m hardly getting anything through the straw. It’s pinched between the packed ice, yet five sips later, it’s almost gone. Oh, and they don’t have coconut waffles here! Booooo!

Wanted to love this place, but it was just OK for me. Huge selection of sandwiches. I got a BBQ pork, which was tasty, but there was more bread than filling, and the filling seemed kind of dry, like it needed a sauce or something. But maybe it was just that sandwich..

Sad to say this is one of the more stingier Lee’s locations that I’ve experienced. The Meat: Bread ratio is atrocious for the ever increasing prices that they are charging. Chicken banh mi — open up the sandwich and you see the chunks of chicken laid out in a row. The chicken is flavorful and juicy but alas, there is not enough of it. Grilled Pork — The pork in this sandwich was 60% slimy fat. So disappointing unless you’re a fat lover. In the past, the pork was rather lean and had a nice chew but I had to rip off the fat globs in this sandwich or else it would trigger the daughter’s gag reflex. Lee’s coffee — 90% ice which leaves a normally caffeine inducing buzz worthy drink into something tame that I can give to the baby(ok, not that tame). The menu here is the bare standard when it comes to the Lee’s empire whereas other locations offer more options like egg, bacon+bbq pork, and even double strength coffee(for the same prices). Definitely not the bargain meal it once was…

My review is only about the smoothies they serve. I would say about half are ok or decent, the rest don’t bother to get. So far I tried avocado(best)strawberry(good)mango(good) coconut(ok)greenbean(can’t tell flavor) redbean(can’t taste flavor) papaya(poor)jackfruit(poor) so if you want a smoothie go with the popular fruits(strawberry, banana, orange, mango, avocado) The rest, you can’t tell the flavor from the fruit. worst if you can taste the ice particles that haven’t been blended well.(smoothies supposed to taste smooth, not icy) So in short, it’s hit or miss. I don’t know if it’s because of the employee’s skill or just bad ingredients. Try another location if you want consistent good tasting smoothies.

The flavor of the chicken sandwich is interesting but afterwards you get a grumpy stomach. I love that they sell deli manjo although I prefer them made at the moment. Not sure if I’ll give them a second try.

Ordered two sandwiches and a Baguette. Not sure if all the wrappers of the sandwiches are different but my number was the same as my boyfriends, when we clearly didn’t order the same thing. They also forgot our baguette! Lost our $ 1.25 :(

I love Lee’s but this is probably one of the worst location. Staff are friendly but the sandwiches here are never made fresh and the meats taste super old. I don’t know but this location need help!

If you don’t know Lee’s I cant help ya. What I can tell ya is that the sandwiches still cut the roof of my mouth. Lee’s coffee still crackin.(iced) Pâté Chaud still good. Wings are amazing. Fresh bread is great with their Pâté. That is about it. That and prices have gone up about a dollar since I used to frequent the UCI location when I was there… Wow. I’ve never seen a $ 5 baguette at UCI, now all their American sandwiches are up there. Grilled Pork and Chicken used to be $ 2.50, now they are $ 3.50… Eh. I guess that’s what happens with inflation!

Lee’s Sandwiches is a great spot for fresh baguettes and breakfast sandwiches. And a must try is the vanilla iced coffee. It alone is a reason to go back!

Lee’s. What’s better than a 7″ banh mi with chicken, house veggies and jalapeños? &&& on top of that, they give away free coffee from time to time! This place has always been quick, friendly, and filling. I’ll come back here always, esp on days I forget to bring a lunch for work.

Today, I thought I’d go to Lee’s since it’s by my work and I was excited to have their #5/Grilled pork. I took my first bite and was surprised to not even get the grilled pork, but just all bread. I opened the sandwich and found that it was poorly made with little to no meat at all. So disappointed especially I’m starving on top of it. I felt like all I was eating was bread without nothing in it. I didn’t bother complaining to them, but heck I’ll just complain here. Someone need to re-train that sandwich maker. I am still hungry and I knew I should’ve just satisfied my hunger with an In-N-Out burger across the way.

Every time I’m in south OC, this is my go to spot for banh mi. I even come here for breakfast and will grab some bacon, ham, egg on fresh baguette. Oh and I always add side of patty chaud. Absolutely love this place. Clean, fast friendly service. Good price. Happy customer every time.

My review is for the vietnamese Lee’s iced coffee. Location is in a prime spot, shares parking with Target and other restaurants and stores. Location seems clean and staff was friendly and quick turnaround with orders. I was in need of coffee as I had a late sleepless night yesterday. Came here a little before noon to run some errands at the Target and decided to get some ice coffee. For just under $ 4.00, you can get a large Lee’s iced coffee that will turbo charge your weakened tired state of body for a few more hours to tread through until work is over. 3 hours later… caffeine is still in full effect. Sandwich is always options but caffeine(iced coffee) is a must!

This Lee’s Sandwiches’ branch is A-OK — not the best out there but it serves its purpose. The past couple of times I ordered sandwiches from here it was pretty disappointing. They skimp on the meat and veggies and you only get a thin layer or either(veggies or meat) NOT both. The redeeming quality of this Lee’s is the fresh baked bread. The quality is consistent with other Lee’s locations and it gets bonus points for being close to my house. I only reccomend coming her for fresh bread(and sometimes coffee even though it is a little too sweet) since their sandwiches are WEAK.

Lee’s is an order from the counter vietnamese chain sandwich shop. I ordered the grilled pork sandwich for $ 3.29 which is a ten inch sandwich. It is a banh mi sandwich. There was a small amount of grilled pork in a sort of sweet bbq type sauce. The pork tasted fairly porky. There was a very small amount of vegetables such as pickled carrots, jalapeños, etc. Overall, it was an average to below average sandwich.

This is one of the better Lee’s locations. Very clean and well kept and super fast and nice service. Usually my sandwich is ready by the time I sit down, nice. Super cheap, even though they are skimpy on the toppings, the bread is good. Good coffee, grab a baguette to go, it’s only a buck!

This 1 star is for the coffee. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese croissant. The girl read it back to me correctly. What I received was a bacon egg and cheese baguette sandwich. When we asked them to remake it, they came out 2 seconds later with a microwaved, crushed, egg and cheese croissant that had clearly been sitting there for however long. So when we went back up and told them that it still wasn’t right, they took it back, put bacon on the old crushed sandwich, and brought it back out and sat it on the table in front of me. Then she proceeded to go back behind the counter and talk about me in Spanish. This is the last time I will come to a Lee’s for anything. They keep this up, they won’t have any customers. GOTOCALI! The food is better and it’s cheaper! P. S.THEYMADEUSPAYFORTHEDIFFERENCEINPRICEFORTHESANDWICHESTHATTHEYMESSEDUPTWICE!

The cashier and sandwich makers in the back are all Hispanic and speaking Spanish. Plus side is you can used credit card(not cash only like most lee’s) and if you check in on Unilocal it’s 5% off the bill. I asked for extra pickled veggie on the side and it’s $ 0.25FYI The small pâté Chau is $.99 and dry, prob been inside the reheat window too long.
