Very slow in bringing out new bins of clothes. They advertise that they will bring out new bins every hour but it’s more like every 2 — 2.5 hours! The quality of the items has decreased lately. I’m pretty sure that employees are sorting out the better brands for their«Boutique» stores. Auctions are going on in the adjoining warehouse space with a loud annoying sounding woman calling out the bids. Bring your ear plugs or MP3 player with headphones.

I went to their website to check that their outlet store, called the«Marketplace» was a dollar per pound price. I spent a good 1.5 — 2 hours here, going through the bins. When I was checking out, it was $ 2.49 per pound! Though it’s still cheaper than buying in an original store, I was really disappointed.

There are three known spaces for the Goodwill Marketplace. On Fifth, there is the administration building. Next to it, on the right, on the corner of Fifth and Fairview, is the actual Goodwill retail store. Next to it, on the right side, on Fairview, where you see a gated area that looks a bit overwhelming with a larger storage space inside toward the back. I think the retail store is considered Goodwill and I think the area on the right side is considered the Marketplace. The right side is where I go to, whenever I check in on Unilocal. You walk in and on the left side, you will see a large storage space that has at least 12 bulk bins full of clothing and 4 bulk bins that are filled with miscellaneous items like curtains, shoes, books, wares, etc. The most important thing you can do for yourself is to get a cart. My friend shared this trick with me, for which I share with you: Find an article of clothing that you would consider ANDDROPITINYOURCART. Do this as many times as needed. When you are done going through the bulk bins, this is where you find a nice quiet corner away from everybody else, near a bulk bin, and go through your selection. Look for the holes, stains, frazzled threads, discoloration, and whatever. You’ll be surprised but it is possible to find some high-quality clothing that has not been wrecked. I love those 70⁄80 style petticoats and I’m fortunate that I usually find one on every trip I go. It is even better when they fit my mom! Who doesn’t love a good deal? I always wash them when I come back home since so many people did go through the clothing before you. Recently, I got a nice pair of chunky wedges for only $ 4. The heels were so clean too. The bulk bins are generally $ 2.50 or so/a LB. The most I’ve spent, and during the winter too, for bulky warm sweaters, has been $ 25. And trust me, I was warm during the winter.

The guy helping me out with my furniture purchase dropped and broke my table I just bought. Then back inside they were telling me they couldn’t refund my purchase. It took A LOT of work to get them to finally refund – I MEANITWASTHEIRSTAFFTHATBROKEMYTABLE! Sure, their selection was really decent but the policy and staff were pretty lame.

Wow, this place can be fun yet alittle crazy so be prepared. I highly recommend getting a shopping cart when you first walk into the Marketplace section. It’s better to have a cart then end up wanting one and having to wait. Why would you be waiting for a cart? It’s due to the fact that there are people who are waiting for bins of clothes to come out which happens throughout the day. I’m guessing they must resell, because soon as those carts come out they grab anything they can and then begin to sift through their pile. I was ok with that, because I was not interested in what they wanted. My only issue would have been if they take it from my hands so pack a «shrug» shoulder attitude. There were decent brands mixed in and the best thing is that you pay based on pounds. My finds included; 3 jeans(Citizens, 7 for mankind) and an OP T-shirt($ 9.00 total). I’m sure it would have been less if I did not have the jeans. One thing that I wish they provided on, as mentioned in a previous review is how the auction deal works. I would love to know how that works because I could always donate the items I don’t want back to Goodwill or to a local homeless shelter. Happy bargain shopping

I’ve been going here for 3 years. The absolute best place for thrifting. It’s by the pound and a pretty awesome experience. I’ve found a good majority of my wardrobe here. You should be imaginative when coming here and see the potential for each item. I’ve gotten a lot of great brand names here from a a real Chanel leather backpack, to a cashmere dolce and gabbana and many other awesome names. ADVICE: This is not for new thrifters. If you’re not prepared to sift through bins of unorganized clothes, then don’t come here. I’ve made the mistake of bringing some beginners and they could not handle it. You get tired fast if you can’t handle this. MYSTRATEGY: Get a shopping cart if you can. When you find a piece that you’re thinking it’s kind of cute, just take it and put it in your cart. Once you put it down, you’ll never find it again. You can always go back through your cart before you get to the register.

This is the best Goodwill I have EVER been to. They have a huge selection of merchandise, and a lot of it is new(I noticed a TON of Target store clearance items). I scored some awesome vintage mugs and plates today. I want to go back and dig through the by the pound bins, but it was hard for me to do that today because I had my baby with me. They also have a separate shop dedicated to computers and electronics, which was super cool. You can get a really great deal on routers and fixer upper computers. Parking can be hectic. Don’t bother trying to get parking in the front, just go straight to the back parking lot. I’ve been to a LOT of Goodwill stores and this one is by far my favorite. I’m not going to bother with the others anymore! I can’t wait to go back.
