The garlic sauce was the highlight of my meal. After looking at pictures of the sliders here, I don’t even know if I received the right food. All I know is the sliders a coworker and I ordered both had a sad layer of loose ground meat, not held together in patty form and smaller than a frozen white castle burger. The flavor seemed like it was good but difficult to distinguish because of the meat to bun ratio. We also agreed their bun choice made the sliders very dry. Garlic sauce was great on my side of fries, but fries that weren’t even touching the sauce lacked a good crisp.

Had the grilled cheese and it was soooo good. Not the healthiest but if you want to indulge, the grilled cheese is it. IRS so buttery, greasy, cheesy, and decadent. I love garlic so I enjoyed it. More garlic the better.

A great food truck. I am not sure why, But for whatever reason, I get a big wetty for food trucks… calll me crazy [“Crazy”] But food trucks are great… though in the past 4 – 5 years or so, they have become so trendy that everyone is hiking thier prices up.

If you love garlic eat at this truck! I’ve had their fries, grilled cheese, and sliders. Everything has been yumm, and slightly greasey, but I definitely don’t care. When I want to be a super fatty, I’d ask for more white sauce. :)

I had very high hopes for this place. With all the rave reviews about the feta fries, I had become very hopeful. I got the slider and fries combo($ 10), and found both to be overwhelmingly salty. The slider was the saltier of the two. If I had the fries alone I might have been able to handle it, but it was impossible to eat the two together. A lot of people are enjoying the combo, so maybe the cook had an off day. But in the restaurant/food business, consistency is key, and a too heavy hand can kill ya. 1 extra star for the white sauce on the fries. That was seriously bomb. They should bottle that stuff and sell it. I’ll never be getting the sliders again, but I would grab a bottle of that white sauce.

OMG! Where do I start! 1st of all, the fam bam running this truck, knows wth, they’re doing, when it comes to taste buds exploding all up in your grill! Literally, I’ve been chasing down this truck for their grilled garlic cheese sandwiches, but when I’ve recently had their wraps, GAMEOVER, it’s been one of my fav’s in a long bit. And I don’t eat wraps. Their patty melts are so good, I wish these guys would open up a brick and mortar one of these days. It can be tough to run out of a food truck and having loyal customers like me chasing them down. Keep up the wonderful work ya’ll is busting out, GARLICSCAPEJUNKIES!

— Locale Destination — It’s a food truck. I’m sure you can find them on Twitter and FaceBook… I saw them at OC Fairground — next to farmer’s market — across street from Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa. You will wait a bit but I don’t mind it for freshly made food. — Gluttony Expedition — I had a combo deal: 2 sliders and garlic feta fries for $ 10. The slider: The pâté(beef) was very flavorful with lots of herbs. Good burger. Garlic feta fries: Very stinky! Good quality French fries, but sorta boring as a whole. — Conqueror’s Deduction — The beef slider was tasty and cooked well. But nothing was WOW to embrace awesomeness of garlic flavor. Meh.

I was able to give this truck a try when they came out for the Truck Squad in Fullerton on Friday. I tried the Garlic sliders combo with garlic feta fries. I’m not sure what was going on. They smelled fabulous but they didn’t taste very good. I was kind of disappointed. I guess I didn’t read the description well enough or something, but I was expecting garlic fries(like the ones at Gordon Biersch or Yard House) with feta sprinkled on top but it was fries with feta and then some sauce on top. The sliders were okay, nothing special. Maybe I need to try something else? The guy at the window was so nice, I’d think I’d just go back for the service.

A high-quality slider, feta cheese, and fries: and everything positively infused with flavorsome garlic«scape» sauce. Oh you wretched Garlicscapes truck, it would have been nice to have gone one whole day without offending everybody within breathing distance! (Well, normally that would be because of the verbiage coming out of my mouth, but this time it was the fumage). I like garlic, but I’m not nuts over it; so this truck may not get my lunch money every time it’s parked at a food truck gathering. Still, it’s a wonderful indulgence for when the mood strikes me – and for when I won’t be required to socialize in person for the rest of the day. My family doesn’t count there, because whatever my breath’s potency at any given time, you can bet they’ve done something to deserve it ;). My only gripe is that you cannot just buy sliders separately, but you have to get the whole Combo deal with the feta fries for 10 bucks. And those fries are EEEEEEEville!

Garlic fries with feta and scape sauce. I love feta and so these fries were calling my name. They were good and super garlicky. I only wish the fries were a little more done as they were a bit soggy then when you put the sauce on top they get even more soggy but the flavor was excellent! I cannot wait to come back to this truck and try the grilled cheese!

I’ve only tried the Garlic Fries and these are one of the most awesome-est garlic fries I’ve ever had. That feta cheese sauce, flavorful but not overpowering. Try it!

I just finished eating half of my garlic lemon chicken wrap! I’ve had it several times before and each time, it has been PERFECT! It’s such a great combination of flavors, none of which overpower each other. Tucked inside are a baby spring mix, feta cheese and balsamic dressing. The wrap is cut into two generous halves which is ideal for sharing. or not sharing! I’ve also had the sliders which can get greasy, but still delicious! Also have tried garlic feta fries which everyone loves! Both have strong(but YUMMY!!) odors, so be aware!(I ate it in my car once. bad idea! Also turns heads at the office — «What’s that smell?! What are you eating?») Prices of every item listed on the truck as of 1÷8÷13: –Garlic lemon chicken wrap = $ 7 –Garlic grilled cheese = $ 7 –Garlic patty melt = $ 8 –Garlic feta fries = $ 5 –Veggie wrap = $ 7 –Garlic grilled cheese = $ 7 –Deep fried artichoke hearts = $ 7 –Garlic slider combo with 2 sliders and garlic feta fries = $ 10 –Kids menu: 2 cheeseburgers w/chips = no price listed –Kids menu: cheese quesadilla w/chips = no price listed I guess I missed one big item or it wasn’t listed?! The garlic sliders alone. I assume they’re also around $ 6 – 8. My food came out surprisingly very quick — and only one guy was running things! I’m definitely a huge fan! =]

Have imbied from this truck a few times. Always seen to get the garlic feta fries, which cannot be beat. Recently got the slider combo, 2 garlic sliders and fries. The sliders were ok, just something missing and a little different. Was it rosemary? The garlic feta fries were, yum as usual. Worth a try.

Patty melt was fantastic, especially the crunchy cheese on the outside of the bread. Mexican Coke was the perfect beverage to partner with the melt.

The Feta Fries are awesome! A heaping portion of perfectly fried french fries, smothered and covered in garlic sauce and feta cheese. Use a fork. No need for ketchup. The Sliders were disappointing though. The meat was dry and the only flavor was from the overdose of garlic sauce. I love garlic as much as the next person, but that’s the only thing I could taste. I would definitely try them again, but for now, I can only give 3.5 stars with room for growth.

GarlicScapes — You are Gar-licious! I absolutely LOVE your Garlic Fries — mounds of fresh fries, tossed in garlic, topped with cool feta, served with scape-sauce for dipping(see attached photo). Unilocal readers — you’ll be able to smell the garlic from the photo alone! The problem is that I’m only able to partake in your food on the weekends because if I eat it on the weekday, then the garlic smell will flow through my pores and carry on to the workplace, which is no bueno based on the people interaction that is required in my daily job activity. But that’s not your fault, and I do love your garlic fries and I will continue to partake in them on the weekends. I promise.

I attended the Route 66 International Festival at the San Bernardino County Fairgrounds on August 11 and had the opportunity to try two food trucks. I like trying trucks I haven’t tried before, I saw GarlicScapes and being a garlic fan I decided to give them a try. I ordered the special of the day which was Roasted Garlic Sliders with Feta Fries. My order was soon ready and I headed to shady spot to sit and eat. The sliders were very flavorful and there was a good amount of meat and ingredients on them. The fries were also very good, served hot and with enough toppings to last to the last bite. If you are a garlic fan I suggest that you give this truck a try if given the opportunity!

Tried them at the Anaheim Art Crawl. Menu was small, not much to choose from. Menu was blah– typically garlic food. The wait for my food took a while, maybe 15 – 20 mins. A bit too long for only artichoke dip and dessert. The artichoke dip, though, was very good, warm, gooey, garlicky but not overpowering. The dessert sounded like a good idea. It looked good too. Two 2×2″ squares of brie covered in chocolate, sprinkled with salt on top, and a strawberry on the side. When I bit into it though, YUCK! Too much salt, brie was too muted, and chocolate was, well, chocolate. So it tasted like salty-ass chocolate. and strawberry. That combo just did not work for me. I would like to come back to try their grilled cheese, but 2 stars for now until they at least expand their menu and pick up their service pace. I would actually like to see more unique menu items infused with garlic. C’mon take a risk!
