DON’T GIVETHEMYOUR $$$, came in for Genesis stuff and was happy they still dealt in cartridges, but they are the biggest cheapskates I’ve EVER done business with, I bought some overpriced cartridges from them anyway out of laziness and not wanting to use the internet and wait for and pay for the shipping, they bring up this bogus price guide on their computer and take forever to calculate everything instead of just having their merchandise priced already like you’d expect, what really cheesed me though is that they had a bad condition copy of Sega 6 Pack and a new looking one and they INSISTED they sell me the inferior copy, telling me over and over that they had to sell that one first but that it was play tested and they promised it would be fine, I figured what the heck, I tried to buy the newer one but it felt like they weren’t going to let me(weird) and since I was going to be in the area again I figured if it didn’t work I’d return it within the week long warranty window, well, about two weeks later it stopped working, I felt ripped off and didn’t want to come back because they were such a pain, but I was across the street a couple days ago and thought I’d just buy the good one if it was still there, last time I was in was a couple months ago but they tried to sell me the game for 17 $ when before it was only 12 $(bull), I told them I should at least get it for the old price because of my experience last time I was there and they pretty much called me a liar, ME the liar? Doing business before, I had also had to return a cartridge they sold me because it didn’t function, I got it in within the ridiculously short one week window for an exchange(no refunds ever) and guess what? I saw the exact same one sitting out for sale for some other poor sap to buy at a hiked up price, not saying which one though, why would I? I don’t trust these guys and I wouldn’t buy any of their«play tested» old school merchandise, if you want to be sure you’ll get your money’s worth look further than this place for old games

They had 4 days to fix the analog stick on my xbox one and when i got it back it was still not working. I also paid around 25 bucks with 15 more i could’ve bought a used controller.

I’m not new to game collecting. If I had to guess, I’d say I have right around 1,000 games. I’ve visited some very nice shops, which I’ll be reviewing soon and I’ve also visited some pretty bad ones. Unfortunately, this is one of the bad ones. As you walk in, the first thing you see is a rack of PS1 games. Not a terrible collection but the problem is that they’re too close to the door to where the sun hits them. Most of the games here suffered from bad discoloration. If you’re a collector, I’m sure you have seen this before, especially at flea markets where they just have games under direct sunlight. This is huge no-no. The place is somewhat of a mess. The main floor is not too bad. Everything is in their correct categories. PS1, PS2, etc. but everything behind where the customer can get to is a disaster. There’s consoles, computers, computer parts, I saw a handful of comic books. But don’t get me wrong. This mess is not even reflected in the 2 stars I’m giving them. I went during my lunch break from work and happened to have stumbled onto it. It’s really difficult to see from the street, especially if you’re coming from the North or East side.(Look for a Domino’s Pizza). I was the only person there when I walked in. There was one employee working on something as you walk in to the left. He looked like perhaps he was working on a console. The other Employee was on the phone. I was never greeted by anyone, which for me is ok. I just wanted to browse and check the store out. While I was browsing, an older gentleman came in with what seemed like computer problems. I couldn’t help but over hear but the gentleman said something about his computer running very slow. The employee said that he needed an anti-virus and that they have one for $ 50 a year. Shortly after, the customer left without getting anything. He made the right decision. Seemed overpriced to me and to say that all it was, was an anti-virus that he needed without even checking out seemed odd to me. Oh well, back to my visit. I found 3 games that interested me: Star Fox for SNES, Contra III for SNES, & Desert Strike for Sega Genesis. I asked for pricing. He grabbed the 3 games and took them to his computer. It took him about 5 minutes to get pricing for all 3. I already knew he was going ask for too much for these. It was very obvious to me that he was getting prices from Ebay. He wanted $ 30 for Star Fox(cart only), $ 38 for Contra III(cart only) and $ 12 for Desert Strike(Box & Cart, no manual). These prices were indeed too high, even higher than Ebay for a couple of those. I said thanks but no thanks. He told me that they were rare games and that’s why they were expensive. In my opinion, they are not that rare. With a little luck, you can run into them at swap meets & flea markets. I myself have seen the 2SNES games at the flea market but I have passed them up in favor of other games I was looking for at the time. I said thank you again as I was leaving but this time he just snickered at me and waved his hand away as if he was swatting away a fly or something. I don’t get angry very easily so I just kind of laughed it off. I can certainly see how perhaps other people may get angry and I do understand some of the other negative reviews on here. Poor customer service & over-priced items are why this placed gets 2 stars from me. I have to say that they do have a decent collection, just be prepared to pay too much. Overall, I can’t really recommend this one to collector’s, but give it a shot and let me know what you think.

I went in looking for a classic controller for my Wii. The helpful guy behind the counter went in the back of the store and came out with an dusty, unlabeled knock-off. They refused my request to test it, but insisted it worked fine and gave me a «discount» of $ 0.50. Not surprisingly, when I got home and tested it, it didn’t work at all. An identical brand-name one that I purchased off Amazon worked just fine. I feel these folks cheated me and I’d recommend avoiding this place altogether.

I didn’t care much for customer service, because they told me a price on the phone and it ended up being WAY cheaper because I was a first time customer ;) My Nintendo 64 works now, cheap price, those guys know their stuff. Drop off only too! :o

Your better off selling all your shit at game stop. Uncle dragon and his cousins show no love over here. They’re all about that store credit and tight on the funds.

On Saturday night I cam home and discovered my PS3 was dead. All it would do is beep three times and the LED would blink. I brought my PS3 in for repair on a Sunday and picked it up in a few days. They gave me a thirty-day warranty for their repair work. I am happy that my PS3 is working great. It was a quick turn around and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

I once asked them to fix my ps3 control but they offered me 3 bucks for it, I wasn’t even selling it and they were just out to con me because I went to a t.v. Repair shop and they fixed it for free

They sell & buy new & used games… even PS2. They also sell electronics like tablets, phones, connection cords, computers and Canon cameras. They also fix phones & computers here too… but there’s no AC. I’ve been here before on a hot summer day & all they’ve got are a couple of fans… had to walk out without even looking cuz it was like a wall of heat hit you. Other than that, it’s a good place to get your game on. FYI: They offer you more here for your used games than at that well known game shop… I know cuz I went there with the same games… it was a $ 2 difference for the total… but hey, it’s more money in my pocket… I’ll take that!
