Facebook tossed this place out to me as a «people you may know» thing, and I’m sure glad they did. Great food, good selection of bottled beer, friendly folks, a CD rockola with a huge selection which includes everything from Band MS to Mana, wandering mariachi and norteno bands, live banda on Friday night, and a boatload of cute waitresses. Carolina was my girl that afternoon, and she was absolutely delightful. What more could you want?

Ended up at this place unplanned, last minute, food was great, service was great, however I was not able to enjoy my food or beer due to the room temperature, it felt hot inside and very stuffy, we asked the waitress if they can turn the AC on, she turned on the ceiling fans instead, which made no difference. Would I return ??? Yes, the food was great, I might just call in a pick up order.

I came with my family on a weekend and it was pretty packed but it’s expected being as it is a family restaurant. I got a shrimp cocktail and it was way too watered down and just flavorless. The reason why I gave it 2 stars is because their Horchata and Jamaica drinks were really good and our waitress was nice and very attentive to our needs but other than that this restaurant is not worth your money.

I’ve been to this location a few times. I like that it has a laid back feel and the food has yet to disappoint. I ordered the filete relleno yesterday for the first time along with a michelada and they were both delicious. The banda was loud as expected and just how I like it.
I have to admit, on my previous visits the service was lacking. The waitresses seemed out of it and never followed up with us. If I knew their names, I’d mention it here, but all I know is they still continue to work there.
However, yesterday’s service was Excellent. So much so that I made an effort to remember her name: Araceli (in the gray/​blue contacts). So, thank you Araceli for being so attentive and friendly. She communicated well, offered suggestions, and was right on top of everything. You compelled me to write this post.

Husband wanted to hear Banda and Banda was on point! Food tasted pretty plane & somewhat burnt. Chips and salsa (water down Salsa is what we got and stale chips)
Service -(blank stares from employees) Not being welcomed! Table service from a young waitress was good she checked up on us constantly.

Es la primera vez que vengo a este lugar y estoy un poco decepciona con el servicio de la mesera que nos atendió. Nos ignoro todo el tiempo y nos dejo esperando por nuestras bebidas por mucho tiempo. Tuvimos que hablar con él manager y el fue un poco déspota pero si nos mando otra mesera que fue mas atenta. Doy dos estrellas por que la banda tocaba bien y tenían buena voz.

By far the best seafood joint I’ve ever been to, good food, music is always on, or banda playing. Service is not too shabby, just gotta wait a bit on a Friday or Saturday night Cuz it will be a full house. Grab a drink in the meantime. Over all this place is great.

Im so DISAPPOINTED at el cangrejo nice in Santa Ana. Awful food, service, over all a horrendous experience .
It was our first time eating at this restaurant. we have eaten at el cangrejo nice in corona, Ca before so we thought the menu, service or food was good too in Santa Ana location.
Please do yourself a favor and don’t eat at this restaurant. The food has not flavor and is overpriced. They served my French fries, rice, beans, salad and shrimps all in one little plate and mixed up (bad presentation, plate looked nasty)
I didn’t eat my food and my husband also ordered a burrito that he didn’t finish it neither
I feel terrible about spending money at this restaurant. My kids didn’t eat neither, the ambience of the restaurant in general is bad.
Not sure why this restaurant is still operating, food really really sucks!!!

I love mariscos and this is by far my favorite mariscos place! The service is great, the food is amazing, and its a fun hangout.
I had the camarones a la diabla, they had plenty of shrimp and the sauce was delicious and just the right amount of spicy. They come with a side of rice and beans.
I also had a Don Julio cantarito, perfectly refreshing on this hot summer day!
I highly recommend!

I came in here last Tuesday with a coworker trying to find a good seafood spot. I had received several flyers about this location since I only work 5 min away. I was very disappointed. Not only were the prices off from the website to the actual menu, the food was not worth for what we paid for. I ordered a mojarra frita, and my coworker ordered 2 It was very bland no flavor at all. The service only made the experience worse. There were only 3 tables yet we never got offered a refill. The waitress seemed like she wasn’t even interested in helping us at all. I will not return to this location and will not recommend it at all. I was very disappointed.

Awesome food I ordered the «nice» tostada. Its a variety of seafood sauteed and with spices. The spicyness goes very well with the mayonnaise the todtada comes with. And the different textures compliment the dish. Highly recommended

Service is okay, well I guess because my husband is frequent customer and knows everyone there.
They’re all very attentive and bilingual .
One thing that I didn’t like was that they move the tables around to make room for bigger parties and all of the sudden our table for two with four chair became a table for 20 people. We were sitting side by side so it left the two chairs in front of us empty They added a larger table to our right which It wasn’t right and the another two to our left. Might as well would of sat another couple in front of us. It was valentines there was no privacy.

The raspados are the bomb digityy! Best I ever had hands down. I even requested a lemon raspado which was not on the menu and they still made it for me. Be the judge for yourself and try them.

This was my first time here. I went in there really hungry. Expecting it to be really good. Service is fair. Salsa was great. Food was tasting good until i found a hair in my food. Appetite was gone as soon as the hair appeared in a tomato. Asked for the check and spoke to the waitress about it. She called the Manager. He was really nice about it. The only reason why i gave them two stars.

They start you off with free chips and salsa and most of the girls here are bilingual so that’s a plus! And they always come back to your table to see how you’re doing.
The seafood here is always fresh. My favorite is the ceviche (although I’m not a fan of octopus). We also got the fajitas de camaron (grilled shrimp). It comes out on a hot sizzling plate with a side of rice and veggies. Portions here are pretty good, not to big/​small. Decent amount of jumbo shrimps!
It’s a pretty big/​roomy restaurant with a bunch of sea creatures on their table covers (I mean, it IS a seafood based restaurant Lol)
The only annoying part is when the mariachi band plays… or when they creepily walk up to your table and go ‘what song do you want me to play?’ (But in Spanish…)
