Dey’s donut on Edinger and Edward has the best Ham cheese croissant and good price. The outer top croissant is crunchy, the ham meat is two thin pieces that fold to make the meat fluffy, which make the meat is not hard.

I was hesitant to come in here because I am not a huge fan of donuts having eaten too many poor quality donuts in my lifetime. I’m more of a Krispy Kremes kind of girl. Today, out of love for my daughter, I stopped in to get her some donuts. I decided to go ahead and pick up a glazed old fashioned and a lemon filled for myself. I certainly didn’t expect this magic! The old fashioned was moist and just the right amount of crunch along the edges. I thought it had to be a fluke, but was now excited to try the lemon filled. I picked that bad boy up and it was heavy! In my grasp, it was cushiony like a pillow! I took a bite and my teeth sunk right through and the dough just melted in my mouth! I’m not usually one to finish my donuts because, well, I just don’t like donuts, but I gobbled up both of mine today… no regrets… though, I now fear the dangers of addiction! Keep up the great work, Dey’s!

The Chinese lady was very rude, disrespectful, & racist. She refused to get me a coffee and donut because I was Hispanic My first and last time coming.

I love their powdered sugar donut holes and their chocolate custard donut. I always came here as a kid after bible classes and it’s still as good as I remember.

What is going on here? I stopped here today to get a donut for a hungry Rar who someone forgot to feed breakfast before summer school. The line was long. I was not acknowledged until everyone else in the room had been served including the two people behind me. I noticed that most people who were lounging about all over the tables were eating cup of noodles. That must have been because they didn’t seem to have any normal looking donuts for sale. There were plenty of over sprinkled cake donuts but not a single glazed, maple bar, crueler or cinnamon twist in sight. I had actually been craving a donut and I did not get one for myself since there were none I was willing to eat. On my way out, my family noted there were pigeons and locals loitering all over the parking lot and the place looked dirty. Don’t even bother with this place.

The lady that was working had a super friendly, infectious personality. I would come back just for her, not to mention the donuts are cheap. An added bonus was the 6 warm donut holes she threw in for free!

I. Love. Donuts. And this is the place I have to thank for my lifelong obsession. Yes, my rating definitely involves some nostalgia points, as my parents would often make pit stops here on our way to school when I was a kid… But still! I know a bad donut when I have one. There are none to be found here. Dey’s is family-owned, fresh, and reliably yummy. What’s not to like?

Finally, a place to get a delicious croissant close to home! I’ve been looking for a jalapeño, ham & cheese croissant that is just as good as Seaside. While I love Seaside’s croissants, it is not worth the drive to Newport. Dey’s croissants definitely does the trick and it is closer to home. I love that they put fresh and juicy jalapenos inside the croissant and not just on the outside. It adds a spicy kick to each bite! Definitely will be coming back whenever I need my croissant fix.

Another little place I hit up on my way to work. This place has awesome blueberry donuts too. A little different than King’s donut in that the donut is crispier and not as sweet. I am infatuated with their chocolate croissants, you gotta get it warmed up no buts about it. These things are so yummy, the warm gooey chocolate center oozing out of the buttery flaky pastry trumps your boring salad any day.

Just another place to make a quick doughnut and coffee run before or after mass on a Sunday… I remember my pops would bring my brother and I some of those doughnut holes and we would be the happiest kids with the biggest smiles. This place always has a big selection and the doughnuts seem fresh as can be. I don’t really go to this one anymore, but just thought I’d write a review here about the good memories it brings me when I drive pass it.

Easy to find, decent selection, good doughnuts… You’d think every single donut shop is cut out that way but it isn’t always the case. Luckily though, this one is a winner. :) Came around 10am today after reading about different donut hole choices. Every time I used to pass by, I was so curious how good their croissants were. Well, I’d give it a solid 8⁄10! Maybe it scored a tad low only because we had them microwave it, then soggied up on the drive home, but the cheese and ham was great! There were about 4 different types of donut holes… This made me very happy. Glazed, Sprinkles, Crunch, and powdered sugar. I think my favorites were Sprinkles and Crunch. I also had a cruller which was a little too sweet but still very good, and a weird cakey looking powdered donut with icing inside… That was goooood, I was supposed to share that with my friend but«accidentally» finished it all. lol Anyways I’m definitely going to start coming here more often, next time i’ll try the apple fritter and a non-shared croissant!

I will admit, I am a tad biased… okay A LOT! My close friend’s family owns this place. Therefore, I didn’t go with the full 5 stars. In my defense, I didn’t know they owned it until 2 – 3 years ago. Before I was friends with the Cambodian Princess(as we like to call her), my family would come here every week after church… even if we didn’t even attend that church. During the whole mass, all I could think of was donut holes *drools* or simply the regular chocolate bar. The donuts here are definitely fresh… I should know. The family works day and night making these donuts, which is why they close at 8. This makes me sad because I am a night owl. 8PM is simply too early. I like the ham and cheese croissants here better than seaside though. Try it yourself :)

This place is just your typical donut place. It’s super cheap though! And I think it’s family-run so they’re super friendly. I go here when I’m craving donuts because it’s cheap and nearby. Later in the day(I think after 3pm) you can get a dozen donuts for $ 6! Probably trying to get rid of the day’s inventory.
