Don’t judge a book by it’s cover! On the outside, it looks like a generic taco joint, but the food was outstanding! VERY authentic and delicious! I had a carnitas taco and a chicken taco… the carnitas was very flavorful and the chicken was juicy and seasoned to perfection! My husband got the carnitas taco plate and not only was it fantastic in flavor, but it was a very generous portion. He hardly ever eats the rice and beans and he ate them all! The chips and salsa were hot and fresh! Overall, we are very satisfied and will definitely be returning!

My friend and I tried Brito’s for lunch on 17th street. I ordered 3 asada tacos, 3 chicken tacos and 2 beef tamales. The chicken tacos looked terrible. There was a lot of fat (i’m guessing) on the chicken. The asada on the tacos looked just as bad and one of the tamales had not 1, but 2 hairs inside. We ended up throwing it all away. Would not recommend this place at all. Big thumbs down for me.

Horrible service and their food is really bad. I ordered a chicken burrito and the chicken was half cooked and pink, the burrito wasn’t wrapped correctly so when I took the foil off it spread everywhere. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Been going here to this spot since they opened up here. I haven’t tried most of the dishes but my main go to dishes are the menudo, pozole, chile rellenos plate, and burritos. All of these things are GREAT! I especially recommend the menudo, if you ask them to add it, they will add homony to your menudo for no extra charge. I like that because all places here in Santa Ana never add homony to their menudo, and that’s how I grew up eating it. Their prices are good and they always have a special of the day. On your way out there have a small salsa bar so you can pack it yourself, which I happen to like. It can be a tad of a wait depending on how big your order is, this is because usually when I go there is only one guy back there preparing the food. But its worth it.

You’ve gotta be kidding. This is the worst I’ve ever had. Today is 2÷18÷15 9:30am and I ordered a simple quesadilla and a fish taco. Fish was low class, cheap quality. I didn’t check my order before leaving. Was I suprised to find a burnt quesadilla. This guy burned it and actually served it black? Wow, it looked and tasted burnt quite badly. Wasted money. I’ll never go here again. Go find yourself a better place!

Her attitude just seemed dry no smile didn’t offer were the salsa was and every time I asked a question cause it is my first time she never looked up at me. Maybe she was having a bad day or something. Food was good … Weird girl

I had a chicken street taco and a steak street taco with a side of fried rice and beans. The food was good and not too greasy. This restaurant is conveniently located near the courthouse and the freeway, but parking spaces are limited. If you are lucky, you can find DUI attorney Hieu Vu eating al pastor street tacos.

I am always looking for good tacos, and this place did not disappoint. I got 3 al pastor tacos the other night and they definitely hit the spot. Not too oily either, so I didn’t feel gross afterwards. I also got a side of fries, and these are big enough to be a meal in itself. Crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside, with just the right amount of salt and seasoning. And still good when toasted up the next day.
My order took about 10 minutes to be ready on a slow night, so give yourself some time to get in and out of here.

Compared to other fast food Mexican (like Alberto’s and similar) Brito’s is above the competition. I was on a mission to find some great street tacos that were consistently delicious — Brito’s delivered on my needs. Give them a try, you’ll love the funky decorations and the really great food!

Love their burritos. More flavorful than a lot of the other Mexican places around this place. I have tried their torta once and it was pretty good. A little too much sauce but i guess that’s what most people prefer. Prices are very reasonable.

Been here twice and ordered Tortas both times. Asada to be precise. Amazing. The meat is chopped up very small and marinated really well. The bread is super soft and dissolves in your mouth. Authentic and tasty. They have Menudo and the full menu so next time I may add something else to my list. Recommend!

Came here to have lunch. I was curious to try it out and decided to give it a shot.
BAD IDEA!
Placed my order and when I proceeded to walk over to the salsa bar, I was greeted by a roach! Made me wonder how well the kitchen was taken care of. That was enough to make me wanna walk away.
Feel bad to anyone who was adding salsa to their food.

I work nearby and thought I’d go for some mexican food, this place does not disappoint. I’ve been here at least 3 times in the last month and their Tortas keep me coming back.
I personally loved the Torta Milanesa (Breaded Steak). The meat is cured, prepared, and served with excellence. Their customer service is superb I always feel welcomed and at home.
Also they have AC! That’s super important if you want to enjoy a hot plate nomsayin?

I tried this Brito’s location for lunch two days ago. It’s pretty close to my work, and I never noticed it before. I was actually thinking of going to Flame Broiler which is right next to it, but I saw a sign for menudo on the front door of Brito’s which caught my attention. My boyfriend and I had been driving around Anaheim a couple of weeks ago and I saw a sign for menudo and asked him what it was because I didn’t know. Ever since then, I wanted to try it. Unfortunately, Brito’s only has menudo on the weekend, so I ended up ordering the pozole and two carnitas tacos. The customer service here was excellent — very attentive. The pork in the pozole was delicious. The tacos were also tasty. What’s more awesome? There are two other locations in Anaheim. I’m definitely going to try menudo there very soon :)

This is located in a small strip mall within a block from Main Street. I stopped here for lunch today and ordered 4 tacos: two fish and two chicken. The fish tacos were inedible. They weren’t fresh and even the batter didn’t cover the stale taste.
The chicken tacos were better. There’s a salsa bar next to the soft drinks. I used copious amount of hot sauce.
The service, however, was incredible, especially considering it’s fast food. The staff came to me and asked how everything was. When he saw that I was headed to the trash bin with still a lot of food on my plate, he asked if I wanted a box.
