Found this place on Unilocal and even though there were some conflicting reviews we thought we’d give it a try. We weren’t disappointed. We ordered Chicken Yellow Curry and Pad Thai. The curry had a great flavor it was probably one of the tastiest I’ve had before, although rice isn’t included w/the entrée which is a personal pet peeve of mine. Had to pay extra for that. My hubs loved the Pad Thai. Usually he’s not a fan but he really liked the one here. It was a bit on the sweet side for my liking, but not so much I wouldn’t order it again. Service was prompt and it is very nice inside despite the outward strip mall location. We spent about $ 20 for two dishes plus rice. Most entrees are below $ 10. No combos that I could find for dinner. We are putting this on our list for when we are in the area.

I so badly wanted to love this place. It’s affordable. It’s near my house(a whopping five minutes door-to-door). And it’s located in a shopping center with an unnecessarily large parking lot. It’s definitely a casual dining environment, but it is nicer than what you’d expect from a restaurant in this location.(The shopping center looks a little seedy.) I called in an order for pad see ew with beef and drunken noodles with shrimp. When I got home both entrees were still piping hot. I also appreciated the fact that they individually bagged each order to prevent spills. My husband and I were starving, and I fully expected us to polish off both(generously sized) meals. Yeah… that didn’t happen. And not because we were too full. After a few bites of the pad see ew, my husband called it quits. He’s the first to admit that he doesn’t have a particularly sophisticated palate so when he described his food as tasting«weird» I felt compelled to try the noodles and see what he was talking about. Yep. «Weird» was the right word. I couldn’t put my finger on why it tasted off, but I’ve had my fair share of pad see ew(good and bad) and this one just tasted… well, weird. My drunken noodles were a bit better than his entrée. It was flavorful and had a good amount of spiciness. The only problem was the oil. There was WAAAAY too much of it. You could have poured off the excess oil and used it to fry up another order of noodles(or two or three). I try to support mom & pop restaurants whenever I can, so I’d probably give this place another shot. Maybe I stopped by on an off day? And I’m guessing that the food would have been better if I hadn’t ordered it for take out. To their credit, I will say that their customer service was great. 15 minutes after placing a phone order, my food was ready when I arrived and the guy behind the counter was friendly and efficient.

I came here because of the good reviews but I was disappointed to say the least. My Thai tea tasted like foset water and the rest of my food had a hint of yuck. I may have been an unlucky guest but I will not be coming back.

Get out of here… By far the most cleanest, creamiest, authentic curry you’ll ever taste in Santa Ana! I had the panang curry, but I’ll definitely be back for the masmun curry. Also, if you’re a sucker for some fresh thick wide noodles wit dem veggies, man the drunken noodles is what you want. Oh ps: it’s got a kick and if you don’t like spicy then be cautious because it can have some heat!!! Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart for your delicious food.

Pretty good, but very salty for my taste. I’m still drinking like a fish after I got fried rice with shrimp and pineapple and yellow curry with chicken.

Ordered food to go and they were very quick and friendly. The shrimp fried rice was amazing. The rice was soft and kinda stuck together, just how I like it. And there was 6 big shrimps so I did not feel ripped off like at some other places. The vegetables egg rolls were surprisingly good. Most taste funny to me but Bangkok Taste’s version was fresh and crispy. The mango and sticky rice was also good considering most other places aren’t even offering it right now(it’s out of season). Unfortunately, I had to take off one star because their Pad Thai was over sauced, noodles were soggy and the flavor wasn’t very appetizing. Definitely can’t wait to try their other menu items. Open parking lot. Takes credit card with min purchase.

I have been to many restaurants in my day but, this place sets the bar sky high. Not only was the ambiance and food top notch, the service was above par. Allow me to explain; It was my birthday and after a long day at work my boyfriend picked me up he took me to south coast to go jewelry shopping. I’m super picky and was taking all the time in the world but I finally chose the cutest set of earrings but you’re probably wondering what does that have to do with Bangkok??? Well here’s what happened. I took so long selecting my earrings that by the time we arrived at Bangkok they were closed, or so I thought. My boyfriend sweet talked the manager and she let us in. They dimmed the lights and made the place super romantic. They prepared our favorite dishes to perfection and even joined my boyfriend in serenading me with a sweet and soulful rendition of happy birthday. After the song, they brought out cake. They didn’t rush us and we had the restaurant to ourselves. It was a great night and we can’t wait to go back!

The price and quality matches! Yay for being close to the freeway and yay for having a lunch special(although sadly we missed it). Coming for the massamun curry but this time I had a go at the Khao somfin… It was creamy, not too thick. And just about right noodle texture. Definitely a great spot if you’re in the area and on a collegiate budget. Or just a cheap ho like me. They got ERRYTHANG Thai I’ve tried and more from curries to dry noodles(eg Pad Thai). Right now I’m in a comfy booth and altho place is a hole in the wall tiny restaurant, it’s clean and what I wanted. Don’t expect $ 5 meal In N Out, but don’t fear it being too pricey.

My favorite Thai food place in Orange. Always fresh, when you ask for really spicy they actually do it. The tom yum soup is amazing, I will usually get the pot and share it. The drunken noodle is my go to dish. They also have lunch Specials for decent price!

Decided to give this place a try when we were browsing furniture next door. A quick check on Unilocal showed that it had a solid 4 star rating, and we’re huge fans of thai food so why not? First thing I noticed was how cheap everything was, even their regular menu items! We came on a Friday for lunch, so we ordered from their Lunch Special Menu. It is available Mon-Fri from 11 – 3 pm. The lunch specials all include a cup of Tom Yum soup, fried wontons(filled with ground chicken) and steamed rice for $ 6.95. It’s a great deal! I got the pad mint leaves with chicken, and my husband got the chicken panang curry. My mint leaves with chicken dish was really weak/bland. I could hardly taste the mint at all, and it was on the salty side. The chicken panang was good, but there was a thick layer of oil sitting on top of it that didn’t make it look too appetizing. 3 stars for now, but I’d like to come back and try some of the items from their main menu! Most entrees were priced between $ 8 – 10, which is very competitive for Thai food.

I wanted some authentic vegan version on pad thai with tofu. Tofu was super mushy maybe it’s just my personal preference. It was not worth the price.

Excellent service, very kind and outgoing ! I ordered shrimp fried rice and it was outstanding, also ordered a thai tea. It was so good, I ordered a second one to go ! I will definitely be coming back here(: my total for this was around $ 16 and they do not accept cards under $ 15 !!!

This is a hidden gem! The food is excellent and so is the service. I tried their pad Thai, drunken noodles, Thai tea, mango and sticky rice, can’t remember what else I ordered but everything was delicious. Can’t wait to come back!

I’ve only ever had take out from here, but it’s delish! Next time, I shall eat here so I can experience it :) My sister picked up the Pad Thai with chicken for us. Huge portions I couldn’t finish the whole thing. It was super tasty. I’ve had pad Thai that’s dry but this was nice and saucy. They also give some hot sauce that’s on point( Unilocal friends, you know I loveeeee my hot sauce!) I will definitely be back to try more of the dishes and I’ll be sure to dine in. I think I’ve found a Thai place close to home that I actually enjoy :)

I wished so badly that Bangkok Taste would be my go-to Thai fix in Orange County after reading all the positive reviews. Unfortunately, the search continues… I will say that this place is better than most places I’ve tried so far though, but some of the dishes were definitely lacking. Things I tried: Chicken Satay — flavors were pretty good, but the chicken was a tad bit dry. Drunken Noodles — unfortunately very disappointing. Drunken Noodles are usually a crowd pleaser but for some reason these noodles had the consistency of lasagna and I physically had to cut squares of the stuck together noodles to get it onto my plate. We ordered a medium but I didn’t taste any spice or much flavor :( Roasted Duck Curry — This was actually pretty amazing and I’d probably come back just to have this again. Loved the cherry tomatoes, pineapple, spice level, and duck in this dish. Tiger crying — the sauce that came with this beef was good but it was way too overcooked; therefore, it came out incredibly tough and dry. I will say that the service here is superb and the ambience was nice too. I will definitely come back for the curry but I think I will need to look elsewhere for my noodle and spice fix.

I love this place! It is truly a little whole in wall. Quite a gem. The food is always consistance, delicious, flavorful n AMAZING… I recommend sea food Tom yum, shrimp fried rice is out of this world! For dessert cannot go wrong with sticky rice and champange mango. Oh don’t forget to try their ice coffee and Thai tea, amazing!!!:) The only thing I recommend is open up multiple location plzzzzzz!!!

Located in the same plaza as the Del Taco and Big Lots. Small place, but packed on a Friday night. What we got: Beef Pad Thai($ 8): it was watery… so my BF’s sister asked if it was suppose to be like that and the worker said that’s how it’s normally made, but he could ask the chef to make it again if we weren’t happy with it. She kept it though, but my BF ordered the same thing and you could basically eat it with a spoon! I had a bite of it and the taste was there, but the consistency was just not what we were use to. Beef Pad See Ew($ 8): I liked it. They use Chinese broccoli! Beef wasn’t dry. Egg had good flavor. Noodles weren’t too oily. Get this over the pad thai… Service: Friendly waiters. He kept going over to our table and asking my BF and his sister if the pad thai was okay.
