Yummy authentic Mexican food ! Didn’t expect this place to be as good since most Mexican places aren’t authentic. I was wrong there food was very delicious felt like I was in Mexico

this place feels like home. service is friendly fast and wow food is sooo good i licked the plate. i had chile relleno. my huband had carne asada tacos. the chips were warm and the salsa was xaowww. .the bomb. the beans are like my abuelita made. the waitress jessica is the best. smiling fast and quike on her toes. family and party spot.

If you still wanna eat here, it’s up to you.

Love the food it’s tasty. Services is excellent. Perfect for one of those days when mom doesn’t feel like cooking or kitchen is closed type of day. My kids love having the breaded chicken breast with salad. As for myself the plate of bistec ranchero can’t go wrong. If you’re a meat lover you want to get the molcajete #1
One of their best burritos is the fajita burrito mojado with green sauce. If you’re into vegetarian this burrito is for you.

Visited this spot and wouldn’t recommend their asada torta wasn’t satisfactory as thought was going to maybe cause a pinch of avacado and onions after none were requested :/​however ceviche was good ! will come back to try other menu items

For the short version: Outstanding in EVERY way. Excellent food, VERY friendly service (Hi Norma!), great Margaritas. This will be my new «go to» place for Mexican food. The owner came out to our table to greet us, shake our hands, and talk about the sauce he created. The chips come with great salsa AND refried beans. I couldn’t be happier.
Since moving to Santa Ana, I try a new «Mom and Pop» place every time I go out to try and search for that one great find. The place I just can’t wait to go back to. I found it now. Can’t wait to go back.,! Just be prepared for ridiculously large portions!

Pretty relieved the caldo de camaron was yummy to my tummy. My fiancé and I are both sick, and needed a hearty veggie soup. We live around the corner, and have never even noticed this place. I called it in, 10 mins later it was ready for pick up.
Broth has a good flavor, they weren’t stingy with the shrimp, and the veggies were cooked just right (don’t care for it when it’s mush).
It hit the spot! We’ll come back again and try other items on the menu.

First off, I hate this place.
This is one of the restaurants that you’ll go to an order food, I huge portion will come out and you’ll end up eating absolutely everything on your plate and finishing the plate of the person sitting across from you because the food is that good.
On a Tuesday you can get five tacos three Taquitos A torta three margaritas and your bill will be $ 22. Not to mention the chips and salsa which are amazing with free beans.
This place is a little sketchy looking on the outside but the food is worth coming into the heart of Santa Ana.
They would’ve gotten a five star with the exception of the margaritas coming out blended when asked for on the rocks. I cannot wait to come back, get on the rocks margaritas with my amazing food, and give them that additional star.
Oh yeah, the service was outstanding as well

I’m here about once, twice a week for lunch. Good place to watch games, always have the best sports games on. Very clean, friendly staff. Complementary chips beans and salsa dine in. Taco Tuesdays kick ass. $.99 tacos all day.

the beers are always cold… the molcajetes are bomb the burritos are bomb the super burrito is the shit i love that monstrosity hahaa but my favorite all time dish has to be the beef stew aka el caldo de res! aww man! just talking about it makes me wanna have another hahahaa! im never going anywhere else for these foods! loyal to this place ill be here once a week for sure!!!

The food is amazing! Our server was so attentive and he even sang happy birthday to my son and gave him a slice of cheesecake. The food tastes like my mother-​in-​laws cooking! Yum! (My mom can’t cook! Lol!!) great experience, highly recommend it. My husband had the Caldo 7 mares and all the sea food tastes fresh, that’s important for sea food. I had a torta de milanesa, so good! My kids shared a burrito de birria, also delicious! Everything was great, right down to the beans and salsa they give with the chips.

the chips salsa beer and most of the food was awesome. i love that they give you beans along with the chips and salsa. the one thing that needs improvement is the enchiladas. The chicken was cut in large cubes rather than shredded making for a sloppy enchilada. Also, the enchilada sauce was bland and i needed to add tons of salt.

Excellent food. Called in an order of menudo yesterday after Thanksgiving… Hello. omgwd the spices were just right. I did not ad chili cuz the spice was to the T forTaaasty! Been there 5 times since they opened. Favorite Mexican restaurant these past few months.
