Sanibel Beauty Salon

Went here with my little sister and her friend. I got a feather in my hair that took about 5 mins to do. The 3 Stars were for the job well done and they were very fast. They also booked us last minute. but… While checking out, while I was counting my change and didn’t even put it back in my wallet yet ABOUT to tip her (my sister and her friend already paid) ‘wait…so no one is going to tip me?!’ In a very demanding tone. Mind you, I was there with my 15 year old sister and her 15 year old friend and they also had money in hand to tip once I got my transaction done that was not even finished yet. It was just very rude and off putting, also extremely awkward because we were planning on it, and needless to say would have tipped way more if she didn’t ask… Wait… Demand a tip.

stylist did a nice job however be careful with pricing. I asked for color and a cut and was charged for items such as conditioner, raising the price over $ 40 from what I expected and was initially quoted.

On Sanibel on vacation and had no time to get a Pedi before we left. Went to 3 places that said opened at 9am and all were closed. Found Sanibel Beauty Salon on my way back to the condo after giving up. What a wonderful place. I felt welcomed, and my Pedi was amazing! Thank you ladies!!!

$ 25. for a polish change on my toes – yikes! At home – in the expensive resort community I live in – a full pedicure is $ 35. Will try elsewhere next year.

I stand by my initial review. My nails chipped 3 days after paying $ 80 for a terrible gel manicure. Don’t go here — very shady place.

Called for an appointment, you are closed for vacation. Went to Tips and Toes. Not good. Wicker chairs and plug in foot baths just don’t cut it. See you Sanibel Beauty Salon in November… Enjoy your vacation !

First time in salon. Called at 9 got in at 11:30. Olga did a razor cut, which was excellent. Trimmed ears, eyebrows, mustache. Price was good.

First time using this salon. The staff was friendly. Sheila did a fantastic job on the color and cut. I would highly recommend this salon!

This was the second year my Mother-​In Law treated me to a pedicure here while we stayed on Sanibel. Lois and Linda both gave us fantastic pedicures, and my MIL loved the color polish on her toes so much that she also had Linda give her a polish change on her nails. My toes came out spectacular, and Lois was very sweet and personable. I felt like I had made a new friend at the end of my visit! Everyone at this salon is so nice! We both liked the polish colors we chose, but the salon was out of stock on them for us to purchase; the owner (at least I think it was) tried calling a few other places to get it for us before we left at the end of our trip, but unfortunately was not successful. They wrote down the color names for us so we could search for them on our own. We both felt very comfortable there, and would not hesitate to go back on our next trip to Sanibel!
