The guy who owns and/or runs this place, Vic, is incredibly rude to his customers. Myself, friends, and family members have gone in multiple times for a variety of services and usually leave agitated. He has zero respect for his clients and clearly needs a refresher course on customer service. Do yourself a favor and drive to the UPS Store in Lake Mary. They are much nicer and know how to run a business.

It is a nice small store in a strip mall with good parking. My first visit, the owner left me twice during my transaction to help two different regular customers who just walked in. On my second visit, I said I need to send a package, the owner asked my address. I then immediately told him I wanted additional insurance for the package. He became very agitated and told me I should have told him this already. He had not told me a price and I had not paid. He claimed he added the insurance but refused to give me a receipt with written confirmation of payment for additional insurance and the amount of additional insurance. It was a very expensive work package and I had unnecessary worry because I felt uncomfortable about the extra insurance. I think he was having a bad day but the store was empty. After we mailed my package, I thanked him and as I was leaving he called out, «Thank you!» in a very hostile tone. We drive a bit further now to the UPS store in Lake Mary.

Last straw today. After previous issues and problems where I always seem to be the one holding the short straw due to either some«policy» or whatever, my experience today has cinched it. No more UPS Store, especially this location. I was trying to send something to a university professor and needed to find a way to get it back so hoped to include return shipping or some such. Rather than offer ANY solution, the owner of this store, stating several times that«he’s been burned» refused to provide return packaging/“postage” and almost cut me off to say ‘no’. He literally verified that he didn’t trust this university professor at a large internationally prominent school to return my item to me without risking them sending something«much bigger for the price». I confirmed… so you’re saying you think this university professor might use the prepaid to send back a load of bricks. «Could be, I’ve been burned». Well, pal… as I told you directly you won’t be burned by me ever again since I won’t be back. I live very nearby and will tell this story frequently. Just a hint, since you’re obviously not a business person: if someone needs your help, immediately saying no is a bad idea. You may, for example. and based on this being YOURSPECIALTYSUPPOSEDLY… offer some alternatives. So in the future…“would you use UPS”? «No, I’ve been burned».
