Just ignore the few angry reviews Glenn has gotten. Glenn is very honest, competent and does an excellent job at fair prices. I’ve been using him for ten years or so. And no, I do NOT work for Glenn and I am NOT related to him in any way besides being a customer.

Glen knows his stuff, as does Jeremiah. I expected to leave the system and they threw it up and started working on it right then, got it working while I waited. And they are open seven days a week. I love these guys!

I would rather talk to Tech Support from India!!! The previous reviewers are being kind to these ID10T’s. I had a previous bad experience with them in regards to ordering a replacement hard drive for a laptop… swore I would never go back… time constraints forced me back today to replace a DC jack on another laptop… simple job. open laptop case and pull jack back into its little holder. Smart Guys service tech seemed miffed, like I was interrupting his WOW game, rudely and VERY condescendingly claimed it was impossible the piece was«broken» and it would take 3 – 5 days to order part and replace for $ 125…WHAT??? Went back home opened it myself and Krazy glued the jack into its holder!!! FYI the part on EBay was only $ 3.95…should change their name to «Lake Mary rent is too damn high!!» Nothing«smart» about this company!

Hey Cheap Guys… yes, I’m looking at you; just because you changed your name doesn’t always make things better. Just so you know, I have spent less money here since the change. The following judgement aside, the in-store/display inventory from what I have seen does not compare to your competitors where in the past, it did… Now on to my rant… Please bring back the nice people that used to work here because the current batch at this store are a little less than helpful. That is probably the best thing you have going for you so don’t screw that up. You would think that a motherboard test would be a pretty easy thing to handle. On the other 5 boards I have had tested in the past, it was a 10 – 20 minute walk-in situation. Apparently today, that wasn’t such a great thing to ask for(from my perspective). Maybe it was a case of wrong day, wrong time, bad chemistry, miscommunication and all that. The exact second the person doing the testing waffled about doing the test, and how it would take up to a couple of days(quickly downgraded to a few hours by the other employee) and not having the right chips to test it I just had to get out of there. I even offered to leave my CPU, heat sink/fan and RAM for them to borrow but I think they were afraid of testing them by accident as I only wanted to pay to have the board tested. Did I shoot them some attitude? I sure did… I’m usually pretty polite but somehow those wanna be Geek Squad(insert Best Buy branding trademark here) dildos got completely under my skin and I had to show them some teeth. Congratulations Comp USA/Tiger Direct and Newegg… you will get ALL of my future computer related funds instead of just some of them… Somehow the stereotypical online crapshoot got a lot more manageable.

I was in Florida on work and needed to swap out a processor on a machine asap. These guys not only had the part I needed but let me swap it and test it in the store. They were super helpful and knowledgeable and I would recommend them to anyone who needs a real tech store and real help.

These guys are lifesavers! On a Sunday afteroon we brought our business computer in for a diagnosis. Turned out the motherboard had died. They built us a new system in just a few hours and were able to install our hard drive in the new computer so we could get up and running. If not for them, we would have lost a days worth of revenue on Monday, but thanks to them we were able to open for business on time and serve our customers without any glitches. Thanks so much, Smart Guys Computers, for helping us out of a very awful situation(and at a very fair price as well!)
