Hwy 55 burgers has been on my radar for a while, and for some reason every time I went here I got the cheese steak. Not today. Located in a strip mall with plenty of parking is the Hwy 55 burgers. Inside its 100% diner feel with the checked tile floors, tile chair rail walls, and 2 tone sparkle booth covering. Service and food vary from store to store, but this location has fantastic service all around. Fast friendly service, my tea never ran out, and we got what we needed. The menu is typical burgers and sandwiches. The price is less than most burger specialty shops. I got the double cheese burger with fries, and it was a force to be reckoned with. 2 huge patties cooked up just right with no pink and not dry. More than filling this thing was a lot of food. On top of that it tasted very good. Nice seasoning and well prepared. I really enjoyed it. This burger was better than some specialty burger joints I have visited. And with a price that wont break the bank. The fries were nice too, cooked up crisp without being greasy, and nice seasoning. The restaurant was clean well lit and in nice shape. Well worth a visit.

Ok place to get a quick burger and fries. Better than Mcdonalds but not as nice as Red Robin. All locals all the time at this location, feels like I’m back in my home town to include the all teen serving staff. Can be crowded at lunch but if I was in the mood for a burger and happened to be in the area by Wal-​Mart I might come back.

Had a late lunch here in the middle of the week. Prices were decent and burgers were pretty good. Service was friendly and fast. My husband enjoyed his cookies and cream milkshake. I had a regular and he had an Andy’s burger. My burger was a good size for me, the Andy was a little too much for him and the fries were tasty too! I usually order ranch for dipping my fries and they use Ken’s salad dressing… was not a fan of that. We’ll go back to try the many different free burger toppings… grilled onions, raw onions, grilled mushrooms, coleslaw, pickles, jalepenos, chili… and the usual toppings, tomato, lettuce, mayo, mustard. It is fun to build your own burger and not get nickel and dimed for it. They have a nice diner theme going. They’re just missing a jukebox.

I love eating here. My kids food comes out in a cardboard car, the service was great, the food was really good and the prices were good. Happy customer!

This is a nice place to eat especially when you are in a hurry and don’t want fast food places like McDonald’s. Their Philly cheese steak are wonderful! Very reasonable on their prices and you get a plate full!

3 ½ stars for my cheeseburger, and chili & cheese fries. Service was great, and my ice tea was very good. My nephew got a cheesesteak, and he said it was very good.

We love HWY 55! The atmosphere takes you back to the 1950’s style diner. Fast and friendly service and kid friendly. We ordered the philly cheese steaks and chicken philly can I just say «Amazing». We also tried the strawberry cheesecake frozen custard. So yummy! They also have a 55 oz burger challenge. We have a friend who actually did this challenge and won. You get your dinner free if you can do it! They also put the kids meals in a cool classic car. There’s a lot of sweet treats to chose from. I definitely would recommend this place.

We go here a lot and I usually get the Philly cheese steak which tastes good. We get very fast service and friendly waitresses. I love how they give the young kids a car that is filled with their meal. Overall a great place.
