Habitat for Humanity ReStore

It’s hit-​or-​miss in here, like all ReStores — both in terms of inventory and pricing — but worth a stop if you’re in the area and looking for a particular item. This isn’t a huge ReStore, but has a little bit of everything from furniture to building materials, lighting, etc. They had a really good selection of high-​end entry doors when I visited last.

The prices on most of the items in the store are way too high. I bought a wardrobe from this place for nearly 300 dollars… man, was I an idiot… After I purchased it some men helped load it up. This thing was falling apart as the men were trying to load it up into the truck! (not their fault, this thing was just not in good condition) I got home with it and on closer inspection the top of this piece has what appears to be older termite damage!(this thing is nearly 7 foot tall, hard to see the top in the store without a step stool or ladder.) Ok, I think. This thing is old… Older termite damage can be repaired… But then I take out the bottom drawers to clean it up a bit and notice underneath there are spiderwebs and WIDOW sacs. This thing has spiders! I don’t feel safe putting this thing in my house with my small children and cats until i get it treated professionally. Now, I know used furniture has its risks. And I probably should have investigated it more in the store before buying it, but I feel like the price they charged for this piece should have at least reflected the condition it was in (it is NOT in nearly 300 dollar condition). I paid way too much for this item. I have found several nice wardrobes in the last couple of days for much cheaper, and in better condition from private sellers. So, my advise to anyone who is considering shopping here is this: if you find something here don’t rush into buying it, keep it in mind but look elsewhere… Chances are you can find it in much better condition somewhere else for around the same price. They fooled me once, I wont be back.

Much better second hand stores around town. The selection is poor, mostly junk. Pricing is too high. Highly disappointed. They hoard all the seasonal items until around the holiday’s so you would think when they brought it all out there would be something to rummage through, nope. Skip this place and keep on truckin.
