FANTASTIC! I was visiting my family when we stopped in on whim to celebrate my grandsons winning baseball season and 3 birthdays. The fellows behind the counter were extremely patient and friendly as we figured out our large order. EVERYTHING, MEAT, SIDES, BRUNSWICK STEW WERE FANTASTIC, AMAZING, DELICIOUS. They threw in a birthday pecan pie. Then did not chase us off when it was time to close and we were not done. TRUE SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY. I was born in the South and have not felt so at home away from home in really long time!

This had the best Hush puppies we could find while traveling and I literally drove from NOLA to Sanford. The food was awesome and the people helping us at this location were awesome, helpful, kind, paitent and informational! everyone must TRY!!!

Very good bbq. Good portions. Free ice cream and a big take home cup.

Very friendly and helpful staff! The food was all Good, though little was much better than good, compared to the Best I have experienced in North Carolina!

Onion Tanglers, Perfectly Sliced (real thin just the way I LOVE them), light, thin batter (just the way I like), Cooked After we ordered, HOT and Fresh, though, something about them was just A-​OK 3 Unilocal stars. I do not know why they did not taste better??? probably the Oil? Heat? It is a mystery and Huge Disappointment! Still these are better than Most Onion Rings and better than all of the frozen ones, they will NOT make my Unilocal Onion Rings List (it is a LONELY one for sure)!

I had the beef brisket which was OK. The cafeteria style food serving line was fair. The ice cream machine was broken.

Went here during the time my son competed in the U.S. Kids Golf Teen World Championships. The incentive that got my family and I in the door was that participants in the golf tournament got 10% off their meals. I’m really glad we came here too! We got the XL Family Pack with included 3 choices of meat, 3 sides, and 6 biscuits. For the choices of meat we got pulled pork, pork ribs, and beef brisket. Absolutely loved their beef brisket, which you can order either sliced or chopped (we got it chopped). The pork ribs were good as well, but I thought the pulled pork was bland and didn’t have as much «smoked flavor» as the ribs and brisket did. If I could do it over again, I would still order the XL family pack, but would choose 2 orders of beef brisket and 1 order of pork ribs. For sides we got potato salad, mac-​n-​cheese, and green beans with bacon. Out of the 3 sides, we didn’t like the potato salad so I probably would order the fried okra next time instead. What I really appreciated was when the store manager (Willie) came out to all the tables and started handing out coupons to everyone. He gave each one of my family a coupon for a free sandwich with a purchase of a drink. We went back on our last day and redeemed the coupons and ordered beef brisket sandwiches… yum! Since we had to buy a drink, we had the sweet tea which tasted great. Still craving their beef brisket… and am glad to know that they actually have a few Dickey’s here in Northern California. Planning to go to one this weekend!

Good pulled pork but not as good as Pikin Pig. Hush puppies were greasy, broad green beans were tasty but on the spicy side. Restaurant is convenient right off ¹⁵⁄₅₀₁ but unfortunately the cashier was rude so I will not be back. They have a loyalty discount card that you can get as you come to the cashier with your food, after so many stamps you get a discount. When I asked for a stamp as I was paying I was rudely told NO you only get a stamp when you come back next time. Loyalty card failure –will not be back.

One of the best chain restaurants in Southern Pines. The BBQ is good, not quite Pick-​n-​Pig (as mentioned previously). The beef brisket is fantastic.

Good food, friendly service — we’ll be back! Lots of different meat options — we had (between three of us) pulled pork, ham, brisket, turkey and pork ribs, all good though pulled pork wasn’t quite as good as Pik n Pig up in Carthage. Sides were also tasty.
