I was referred to this ballet school by a friend and couldn’t be any happier. I’ve been taking my 5 year old there for a year now and she loves it! The school is so good that even though we moved 30 minutes away I still signed my daughter up for Fall and plan on taking her to her classes every week. Great teachers, friendly staff. Be aware that tuition is billed quarterly(in fact, it was the cheapest dance school I found in the Sandy area). Utah Dance Center also puts together a wonderful program at Kingsbury Hall every June in which you have to pay for your child’s costume. Speaking of the program, it deserves a 5 star itself for its beauty! It was my little girl’s first time performing and our entire family loved it so much! Even my 3 year old behaved and sat still all throughout the performance! This year’s was Snow White, last’s was Pinocchio. I can’t wait to find out what next year’s will be. So if you are into watching your kids perform for large crowds, this is the place to send your child to. The studio itself has 2 floors, the classes for the young kids are held on the main level and for the older kids upstairs. On the main level you will also find dance attire for sale(leotards, tights, tap/ballet/jazz shoes, etc). One stop shop. My daughter and I can’t wait for classes to start in August. We both look forward for next year’s program as well.

My daughter is in her second year of preschool here. I chose this preschool because they learn through the arts and it’s reasonable price. She also started a tap ballet combo class this year, and has enjoyed it as much as she has enjoyed school. I was a bit disappointed to hear the preschool only does a Christmas program every other year. The year they don’t do one, there is a program in the spring. But other than that, we have had a wonderful experience with the school.
