What is great is that this awesome place must have been reading Unilocal.I love how clean the place is and I see them cleanig up constantly. The food has always been good and Miranda, has such a nice smile and she is very cool to chat with. I am so glad they have made these great changes, I love this location and the atmosphere is so awesome. The food is so good and I look forward to eating here. This place is so good that if I ever became famous and the schlotschy’s people asked me do do a comercial, not only would I do it, I’d do it for free that’s how good it is!!! I am so glad they listen to their customers. I am a customer here for life!!! Love this place this location is da bomb dot com!!!

Schlotzsky’s, is one of my all time favorite sandwich joints. Their sourdough bread is awesome and they have great sandwich selection. Don’t forget about there pizza’s they use the same bread for their crust and it is also delicious.

3 stars, because the last, visits were good. Today though, was a complete bummer. dirty neglected dining, drink area and bathrooms. All huge. But kitchen seems good.
Turkey bacon club had 1 piece of microscopic piece of bacon, and some sub standard turkey. The girl every one is commenting about was fairly nice to me, but, probably needs some customer service training. Seems upset she has to work. I made sure to be super smiley with her.
My guess, is they are struggling. Maybe a consultant would be a good idea. But, I give them until summer, if something doesn’t change.

I’ve always enjoyed the food. Came in today and they have some girl at the register taking orders that has no business being there. She doesn’t greet the customers, doesn’t say anything and after you place your order she just hands you your receipt and says nothing, not even a thank you for patronizing our business. Hell not even a kiss my a**
Save your business, remove her from the front.

What can I say about this place, ahhhhh how about delicious! I read these comments about the service, and I can tell you there has never been an issue with the service here. The food is good, the service is what I have expected (people doing there job, if you want 5 star service then you better pay bigger money for someone to
Kiss your ass). These people are doing a great service a filling my belly full of nothing but deliciousness.

Great sandwiches and they always throw in a cookie! Yum! located in the north west corner shopping area at the corner of State and 9000 South I try to come when ever I in the area.

I have enjoyed Schlotzsky’s for years. Here in Utah, they are tough to come by. Fortunately, this location never disappoints with their sandwich quality. And even during the middle of a lunch rush, I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes to get my order. Great food, great service, long hours: what’s not to like for a fast food eatery?

Bread is so terrible now. Turkey sandwich on wheat was really bland. No one was at this location at lunch time. They allow staff to wear facial piercings. I don’t want your eyebrow crusty from your ring in my sandwich.

Wow ! All I can say is «schlotskys!» with a big smile on my face.
Today my husband and I ate there for the first time. We were hesitant after looking at the other reviews on Unilocal,but let me tell you — they are wrong!
We both got the original sandwich. The blend of flavors is exceptional. I also love the toasted bun! I wouldn’t even consider myself a pastrami person but wow! So great! Comes with two kinds of pastrami, ham, tomato, olive, cheese, tomato and lettuce on your choice of bread. I got sour dough, my husband got the jalapeño cheese. Both mild breads.
By the way, we were pleasantly surprised to open our bag and see two chocolate chip cookies accompanying our sandwiches! These were a perfect end to a great sandwich!
Service was prompt and all workers were nice. The place was even slightly busy and I felt like the speed of sandwich prep time was not a problem at all.
Can’t wait to go back !

We have been going to schlotzskys for 15 years, and I can say that the food is still good, but the service has never been worse. We ordered sandwiches and forgot to tell them no olives and onions of one sandwich. when I approached the counter to tell the Hispanic guy making the sandwiches, he told me he would try to get the olives off the sandwich. I told him to just make another one, and the manager grabbed the sandwich and slammed it into the trash can in anger because I would dare ask them to remake a sandwich.
Our family just got back from Texas, and I can sure tell you that everything is better in Texas.

Haven’t been to Schlotzsky’s in ages, the place is still slow and the sandwiches are still quite good. Loved the warm bread and meats and cheeses, and the free chocolate chip cookies.
Need to come back for more as it was quite good.

It took 20 minutes to get my Turkey Avocado salad out. Not only does it look terrible, but:
— there’s not one black bean on this salad
— there’s only about 3 – 4 scan pieces of egg
— the turkey is deli sliced and completely non-​representative of the amount that would be called for
— the croutons are absolutely not focaccia
— the few pieces of avocado have brown spots… I had to remove them
— there is hardly more than a 2×1″ strip of bacon
— the salad is NOT mixed greens, rather chopped romaine
Never had such a terrible experience in my life. This was like paying top dollar for school lunch garbage.

Love these sandwiches! I went there all the time when they were in UT County but they left us years ago & I’m not sure why. When I’m up in the Sandy area I try & stop to get the classic ham & cheese on sour dough. Oh such memories! They add a little touch & add a yummy cookie with your meal. Well worth the drive for me! I do. want them closer tho.

I remember eating at Schlotzky’s 15 years ago. This is nothing like it used to be. I ‘m sad that I tarnished my memories by eating here again. Dry, crumbly bread, soggy veg, tasteless toppings. I do not see any reason to visit this place ever again.

It was subday afternoon and I was craving a good sandwich. I remembered that I had seen a schlotskys on state street a couple weeks back and that when I went to Colorado, schlotskys was the most amazing pastrami sandwich I had in a while.
Considering it was Sunday, of course the place was dead. Yet the staff was kindly waiting at the counter to take our order, and they were very welcoming and nice. And me being the picky person I am, edited my sandwich and the Cashier was polite and put up with all my changes.
When I received my sandwich, the order was correct, always a good bonus, and I picked it up to take a bite. My sandwich was slightly disappointing. There was a mountain of meat on it yet it huddled in the center of the sandwich. The bread was pretty crumbly. This is not the sandwich I remember from schlotskys from a little ways on the past. I would definitely try this location out again and maybe try a different sandwich. Large price, moderate sandwich is a let down. The friendly staff and nice atmosphere earns this place three stars.
