Excellent beer selection on tap and the staff/service were great. The food was delicious and we were treated with courtesy. Family friendly and accommodating. Thank you!

The brisket is wonderful and if you like spice try their award winning Blueberry Habanero sauce. I had the green beans and mac & cheese. Both super tasty with a nice smoky flavor. BTW: EVERYTHING is smoked there! *** Side note: the owner and staff are all real friendly and accommodating.

I liked this place and I’m pretty veggie and pescatarian! Our Meetup Group went here after snowshoeing and they had no issue in accommodating us. They had a great clam chowder without bacon, cole slaw, and decent wine for $ 5. Very reasonable prices! Great customer service and the waitress did great with all of us. very friendly and kind. Makes a HUGE difference. Highly recommend! :)

Made a second stop at The Red Shed for lunch yesterday. The Wednesday special«burnt ends» were fantastic! Those with me agreed and also loved the baked beans and pulled pork. For flavor it is great, the seating and the amount of food you get are the only reasons I couldn’t give it the full 5 star rating. Prices are very reasonable as well.

My husband and i were wanting something different and he remembered seeing this place recently, it was a Friday night around 6:30, we were able to get right in and within about 5 minutes a friendly young waitress came & took our drink order, i got the black currant hard cider(very good) hubby had the crux & wrecking ball beer(he loved) between the two of us we had the 3 meat plate with potato salad & baked beans and me the pulled chicken sandwich & potato salad. They give you 3 different sauces, sweet, spicy & habanero, which were very yummy. The staff was friendly and the owner did make his way around to us to say hi & see how everything was. So no complaints here, would recommend and would go again in a heartbeat!

This place rocks after a hike. Amazing BBQ. Get the Cole slaw and the chicken sliders! Bacon in the green beans makes me happy. I will return.

Went and got the Light Eaters… which was a pulled pork slider with a side. I got the mac and cheese that also had huge chunks of pulled pork added. Was beyond delicious! And for only $ 6 and a full tummy I will go back there for sure! Also tried the Cranberry Cider… was very yummy! not sure if it went well with my dinner selection but was really good anyways. Wont be disappointed with the food or the prices: D

Food was tasty, many beers on tap! The staff was friendly and asked multiple times if they could get me anything… I ordered the loaded baked potato and added brisket. I could cut the brisket with a fork and the flavor was great. I was offered three different BBQ sauces, all were flavorful. I was the only one there at 5:00pm, although another lady arrived and took home an order to go. There were so many beers on tap to choose from. The older building was renovated nicely!

The food was terrible. The service was good but the pulled pork sandwich had no flavor n I had to put my own BBQ on my burger but that didn’t help the taste at all… I Def will never be back there.

Aside from the slightly awkward wait staff the good food and atmosphere were excellent. Although I did order their tap root beer and it was completely flat, dissapointing. Being from GA I didn’t think i’d find decent bbq in the Pacific northwest but the burnt ends special they run is to die for delicious.

Was not my favorite. Brisket sandwich was bland and no flavor. Beer selection was good, and server was awkward yet friendly. Just not what I expected.

Don’t recommend. Only one BBQ sauce and it was to sweet. Had pulled pork and my wife had brisket. Both were bland and in dire need of seasoning! Garnish was a pile of pickles and onions, what?! I realize pickles go with bbq but as a garnish. Server was very friendly. Shame, was hoping for better food

My lovely wife and just moved into town and were unsure if we’d find good bbq. We were very pleased when we found the Red Shed. It was a little later on a Tuesday night and I was worried they would be closed — but they were rolling. I had the brisket and green beans. Both were outstanding. My wife had a pulled pork baked potato which was outstanding — likely the value item on the menu. The added bonus was a great selection of beverages. We were pleased with their cider selection.(I can’t drink beer). Good stuff and shared with some friends.

The pulled pork doesn’t look or taste like it was smoked and dry as a bone and my six year old could make better Bbq sauce ! Don’t waste your money!

The bbq beef is lovely now. The right blend of fat and still the great smoke ring. And the smoked sweet potato is on the menu! Servers are friendly and helpful, as is the owner. He checks through tout your meal to make sure all is ok.

What a great addition to Sandy! Our food was awesome… we had brisket and pulled pork with their amazing Mac and Cheese! The interior and exterior are very warm and inviting, the service was fast and friendly, and the S’mores Beer was freaking fabulous, even served with a burned marshmallow floating in it! We will definitely be back!

I actually had to wait a little bit for a cool down before writing this review, to try and make sure I wasn’t going to just dog a new place. I feel it has been enough time and my feelings didn’t change. We went in and it was crowded on a saturday, the girl met us at the door and right away wanted our order. We said we had never been there and I wanted to see the menu, which was on the board behind them. We didn’t have to look long as it was only a couple of sandwich choices. I took the brisket sandwich and green beans. I was surprised this was close to $ 10 for just those two things. My husband got pulled pork and brisket sandwich with beans. I was surprised he committed to the beans because suddenly I felt like I was in a high school cafeteria where the food has been out and cooking down to death all day and the lunch lady was slopping it on the plate. He asked if there was cornbread or anything like that, that we are used to seeing in a lot of BBQ places. The lady was not super friendly, and said no that it was just the buns. When we sat down at the booth, I thought the BBQ must be an after thought to the beer they are selling, and I really am convinced of that now. The brisket was tasteless and we think the smoker outside might be for looks and that it is from the oven. They put a tiny few pieces of dry brisket on that extra dry giant bun. Okay, so I am resigned to skipping that giant bun and eating the brisket and beans. One bite into the green beans and it was a salt shaker nightmare. I wasn’t eating them, and I wasn’t going to say anything to them, but stopped eating. I will say the girl walking around clearing tables noticed and asked if something was wrong with them, I said they were really salty and she offered to switch it out. I opted for the slaw, that is hard to mess up. If you are making a vinegar based slaw it is better to maybe start that early in the day before you open. It was really not put together well, and I pushed it to my much less picky husband who passed on it. So then I knew for sure it wasn’t me. He said his beans were cooked to nearly refried status. You can see that clearly in the picture I am including. We were almost going to give them the«we are new and still learning’ pass, but when we stood up and I saw other people’s brisket sandwiches, they had about triple the meat I had gotten and not just one person. I felt ripped off when she first put it on the bun because it was so small and now I was feeling the sting and I was still hungry leaving. Also, they had white bread up there on the shelf, I haven’t eaten straight white bread in years, but it probably would have pared better with that brisket than the bun they put it on, which was kind of stale. I haven’t heard anything good about them since they opened, and if you look at the five star reviews, which I did before we went in and that was a giant red flag, it looks like the wait staff had a writing assignment. I am not a drinker, so maybe this place will be appealing on that level. I can’t see going back in any time soon with the prices and the quality.

Service: the waitress and the rest of the staff were phenomenal. However there weren’t enough of them and I personally find it appalling when you see an owner just chatting it up with friends that come in providing them with undivided attention while the customers are barely patiently waiting for their food and such and don’t get that same attention. Especially with the prices you are charging. He made no rounds to guests, just hung out at the bar then moved to the tables his friends sat at while his business suffered. Sad. Food: overpriced and just ok. Mac and cheese was ok. The chicken we got wasn’t a chicken thigh like indicated but just some chopped up chicken. Pork was a little dry. The brisket was good but we barely got any. The Cole slaw was a little vinegar for my taste. The wine and beer were good. The potato salad tadted like it came from a container. Overall, I don’t know that I would go back. Not worth the money and too disgusted with the owner for not being involved with helping his staff and customers. Was a real shame because I was really hoping this would be good for Sandy. I would rather spend my money elsewhere.

Very cool settings, great bar with 28 craft beers on tap, but a little constructive criticism is in order here from a BBQ aficionado. Ordered the beef brisket sandwich and potato salad for the side. The brisket had absolutely no smoke or rub flavor. It just tasted like roast beef. It was on a very good bun(pub style, available at Winco), but c’mon. With the very cool smoker smoking away outside, how come no smoke flavor in the meat? And the BBQ sauce(only 1 offered) might be the owners favorite, but it was more like a syrup than anything resembling BBQ sauce. It was not tomato or ketchup based, just a sweet thick brown sauce in a squeeze bottle. Q joints need to have at least one Memphis, Texas, or Kansas City style sauce offered to satisfy BBQ lovers. Also maybe a hot BBQ sauce. Keep yours on the menu for those who like it, but please offer an alternative or two for variety. Oh and the potato salad was just ok but needs improvement. Potatoes were under cooked, and it could of used maybe some chopped sweet pickles, onions, celery(etc.) to make it less blah. Just a notch above grocery store deli counter, but thank you for making your own and not resorting to Reesers! Expand your horizons man! You’ve got a cool place, a class smoker, great beer selection, but you need to kick it up a few notches if you want to have a successful BBQ restaurant. Add ribs to the menu, get some smoke/rub flavor into the meat, pay attention to side prep and sauce changes will help immensely!
