Jonsrud Viewpoint is located in Sandy — about 45 minutes from downtown PDX. It offers one of the best views of Mt Hood overlooking the valley. Highly recommended for any photographer, before you make a drive over ensure you can catch a glimpse of the mountain from PDX, if it is not visible from the city, not worth the drive. There is parking for about 6 cars.
