Lunch buffet dishes had too much cream and lacked proper vegetarian options(vegetable dishes had to few vegetables). Flavor was good

Food was good but wasn’t very hot. The warmers probably weren’t working correctly. We told them about it and nothing was done. They were more concerned with the large catering order than the buffet customers.

My family and I selected Everest Curry Kitchen for dinner to celebrate my youngest son’s 20th birthday last Saturday, and we were glad we did. Good Indian cuisine at great prices… and a huge menu to pick from. First time I think I’ve ever seen pork dishes available! My wife had her usual Butter Chicken(Chicken Makhani), and my son enjoyed two of his favorites, Lamb Coconut Korma, and Paneer Masala. I had the Chicken Vindaloo(asked for it medium hot…7 to 8 on a scale of 10… but it came in somewhere around a 3… bummer.) We all shared an order of Saag Paneer, a LOT of Basmati rice, and of course a couple of orders of Garlic and Butter Naan. My wife even enjoyed a 20 oz. Taj Mahal beer(and I did too!) With a tip, it came to $ 100.64. Overall, we really enjoyed it all, and appreciated the quick and responsive service. and had a lot of take home food to enjoy again for lunch. We will definitely be back for another visit soon… especially the reasonably priced lunch buffet!

A superb menu with a lot of variety! The staff are kind. The mango lassi was the best I have EVER had! The prices are fair and in line with other restaurants with similar fare. The naan is huge. Hubby hadthe Everest curry. A very tantalizing flavor that I will order for myself next time!

Very good food. We tried a variety of vegetarian and meat curries and they were all delicious. The portions were a little smaller than I’ve seen at other places, but still enough to fill us up. The veggie coconut korma was a stand out and their sweet naan is one of the best things I’ve eaten in recent memory. This place is tucked away in a strip mall and hard to see, but worth the effort to seek out. I can’t wait to go back and try the lunch buffet.

Ok this place quite literally has any Indian Food you may desire. It has the Indian Street foods(Momos), Indian Specialties(Rogan Josh) and the Indian Regulars(Chicken Tikka Masala). I ordered the Kofta Curry and the Rogan Josh. Both dishes were splendid and I liked them a lot with the Jeera Rice they came with and the special ordered Garlic Naan. I have to come back to try their buffet and then we can make a comparison to how good it really is compared to Saffron Valley nearby. I still heart that place too much but, Everest would come in a close second. Its authentic, flavorful, and the customer service is pleasing.

The food itself was great, but had really poor service I found it hard to get anything I needed especially rice. and when I did get it the bowl was half empty and I needed more literally 2 minutes later. I went with 1 other person. And I found it a bit ridiculous how small the rice portions were.

I have to say that this place has great food at a great price … The buffet was great and clean. Service was great, fast and friendly!!! 11÷9÷2015 Came back here again to try and see if the consistency of the flavor was still the same. Yes!!! Still tasty and yummski … The chicken masala was great and not cold it was fresh and warm!!! At the 8.99 buffet it’s a fair price. Friendly staff and great service!!!

The food here was more 3.25 stars and the service was 4.5. I’m also used to really, really good Indian food in the west coast so my standards are quite high. Garlic Naan — good, but very, very buttery(too much for my taste) Tandoori Roti — texture was great, however, the roti was sweet which was odd for us as we’ve never had sweet roti Paneer masala — sauce was nice and sweet, but the paneer texture was thick, not bad, just thicker than I’ve ever had before and it takes you by surprise as paneer is typically soft, but this one was not(not hard, just not soft). My husband liked it though, but me not being a big fan of cheese in general I’m more picky about that. Aloo Tama Bodi — I liked this dish, it was very different and well made, the spices were a good blend and had a kick unlike the other dishes. My husband didn’t like the bamboo, but I did. Asparagus Aloo — my husband liked this best, I thought it was decent, nothing too special but definitely a unique dish. Overall a good meal and rice comes with each dish so bonus, however, I do caution that their spice level is not very high. We ordered everything medium and all the dishes were barely spicy. If you like spicy, make sure you order it such and let them know you want it spicy, otherwise you’ll get weak spicy and nobody likes that!

If you’re driving by you will miss this little Indian and Nepalese restaurant, on the corner of 106th& State so pay attention. We arrived Sunday night around 7pm that’s a nice touch Having extended hours in the south end of the valley. We were greeted warmly and seated in a booth. We started off with the house wings as an appetizer, it was red in color with an Indian dry rub, crispy and good. The main courses were recommended by the waiter since we were new here. They delivered a tender chicken cooked in a tasty yellow sauce and another sauced up meat dish along with a fresh and fragrant thin crust Indian garlic bread. It didn’t catch the names of the entrées for 2 reasons; first, I couldn’t pronounce it and secondly we asked them to order for us. I can say we finished all the food, you Unilocalers know if there’s no to-go boxes it was most likely dee-lish. -

This place is wonderful. The environment is very calming and relaxing, also the servers are very polite. The dishes seem a bit small because of the circumference but the sept makes up for it. The naans was fantastic. We ordered a garlic naans and an onion naan. The onion naan had too much onions for me but the rest of the party enjoyed it a lot. We also got the shrimp coconut kurma, butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. They were all very delicious. My favorite is the shrimp coconut kurma. There is real coconut grains in it and the taste is wonderful. My tastebuds was jumping with joy. I totally recommend this place.

This is a cute little place hidden near 1 – 1511400S east exit. How long has this place been here? The interior looks shiny and colorful. It was Friday dinner time and the place was only half full. Not that I’m complaining. The faster we get table, the less cranky I get. The servers were attentive and spoke with a very very soft voice, I had to pay attention as if I was about to listen to the most interesting gossip in town. They were very polite. Looking at the menu, this place pretty much have all the typical items we normally get in any Indian food restaurants. — The Garlic Naan was good. Not dry as in some places. — The Onion Naan had some mixed reviews at our table. I thought it was good, but others said there were too many onions till the naan almost tasted like pizza, and I was like, which pizza place did you guys have that? — I should make a mental note NOT to go there. — Chicken Tikka Masala was thick and delicious. Not the best I have tasted but above average. — Butter Chicken was good too, although I wasn’t blown away texting my mom about it. It was delicious but not as buttery, and the gravy was almost too thick. — Shrimp Coconut Korma was pleasant. It was my first time trying Korma with seafood and I decided to stick with Lamb in the future. Note that they serve the curries in a round bowls which could look small at the first glance but the bowls are pretty deep actually. Still, not what I would call generous serving, and this makes the food here feel slightly expensive. For drinks, we thought the Mango Lassi was a tad too sugary. If it was me, I’d make it a little bit less sugar and a bit more yogurt. All in all, decent place for Indian food and a nice addition to Sandy/Draper dining scene. I am giving 3.5 stars for food, 3 stars for portions, 4 stars for ambience and 4.5 stars for service.

This place is so good! It’s our favorite curry place in salt lake. Every dish is so flavorful and delicious. The staff is very friendly. We have tried many dishes(20+) on the menu and they have all been good. Love the Everest lamb, chicken tikka, vegetable samosas, butter and cheese naan, vegetable korma, etc. We come for dinner and also for the lunch buffet when we are in town. It has become a family tradition. Delicious!!! The chefs are great!

What a great little find in Sandy … and I had to look hard. For future reference, this little gem is located in the strip mall on the southeast corner of 10600 south and State Street. My husband and I enjoyed papadams as the appetizer [note that an order is ONE papadam] and asparagus aloo and navaratna korma. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and worth repeating! The service was prompt and courteous. Our total bill was a measly $ 25 for a delicious meal and we’re already making plans to visit again.

We found this place from Groupon, thank goodness! We were doing a staycation in SLC and we’re craving Indian food. We were curious about the Nepalese infusion the restaurant offers. When we pulled up we were a little concerned because it is nothing to look at and not a place we probably would have tried just seeing it from the outside. But, there is a reason people say don’t judge a book by its cover. The place inside is sparsely decorated and clean, and we saw two huge take out orders leaving before we were seated, and that was almost immediately. A very good sign! The staff is shy but very attentive and kind. I ordered Chicken Coconut Korma and my husband got the Shrimp Coconut Korma, and we got a side order of Garlic Naan. I can honestly say that the Garlic Naan and the Chicken Coconut Korma are the best I have ever had! And I love Indian food. It was almost perfect. I wish the rice had basil in it but besides that, who cares. My husband said his Shrimp Coconut Korma was in the top 5. We are so glad we found this place. It is worth the 25 minute drive from our house!

Everest Curry Kitchen is a new family owned restaurant which just opened a few weeks ago. They specialize in Nepalese and Indian food. I was very excited to see what kind of new flavors they could bring in an area with quite a few Indian restaurants. There were very many choices on the menu, so I let the server pick two entrees of his choice. 1) Meat Samosa(4.5÷5) — two crispy samosas with ground lamb and chicken served with a side of tamarind sauce and special mint sauce which enhanced the flavor of the meat. 2) Annapurna Chicken(4⁄5) — chicken breast in coconut curry with broccoli and bamboo 3) Everest Lamb(4⁄5) — lamb with potatoes in curry with a little infusion of yogurt Meat Samosa were a delicious start to the meal, and ample rice was given with the two curry dishes. Admittedly, the portions were a little smaller than I had hoped, but service was excellent and the curry had a complexity of flavors which made me want to save every drop to mix in with leftover rice. Both the lamb and chicken were very tender. Also, I ordered both dishes with medium spice and it wasn’t spicy at all in my opinion. I was given a side of green hot sauce which was very flavorful and packed a lot of heat so try that too!
