Our puppy died…
We dropped off our 4 month old Dobie — Kronos– at 7am and when we picked him up at 4pm he was almost dead. We rushed him to to the vet but he died 36 hours later.
Apparently he threw up and aspirated his vomit in their care — we got one call only and were never told how critical he was. In fact, they put him in a cage and did not notice his condition degrade. If we had picked him up at the normal time around 6, he would have almost certainly died in their care.
When we dropped him off at 7am we asked him to be fed, but they said he he had not been fed till 1030 — we wonder if he was so hungry by then he literally choked down his food.
We were devastated and miss our boy Kronos everyday.

We love this place… Marvin and Elvis stay together in a suite and they are so good to them both. One is a coon dog and the other is a bichion and they are awesome. It is great knowing that your dogs are being cared for and loved on when you are not home. Thank you to all of the staff that take such good care of our kiddos!

I left my dog with Fido Fido. We have been clients for years. Prior to leaving, I explained that my dog is 14 years old and has been struggling with an illness since May of this year.
On Saturday, I called again. The lady said that a wound on her neck reopen. I thought this was odd. She is highly food and skin allergic, so I keep a pretty close eye on her. Any lumps, bites, scratches, or skin inflammation she has, I usually notice? The only thing I could think of was she had a bug bite on the back of her neck. I noticed and it was almost healed on Monday night. So I was a bit confused. I didn’t want to make a big deal about it, so I did not say anything other than she had a bug bite previously? They told me they were putting Neosporin on it. Again, I will reiterate that Josey is extremely food and skin allergic. I would have preferred someone contact prior to doing this.
On Sunday, I picked her up. The wound was more on her shoulder than her neck. It was not there when I dropped her off on Friday? It was not a bug bite, but appeared to be a dog bite. Also, there was another wound right beside her eye. She was also very dirty. I had given her a bath on Wed night, so she was clean when I dropped her off. I understand that it rained a lot over the weekend, but I don’t think she should have been that dirty? I did not say anything at the time. I was pretty exhausted after my trip and did not want to offend anyone.
I came home and gave her a bath and got a closer look at her injuries. It was definitely a dog bite and the wound near her eye was a scratch. Again, both of these were not on her prior to leaving her in your care.
What I am having a hard time with is not being up front with me about the dog bite and scratch. I have been around animals my entire life. Things happen and I understand that. I would have appreciated folks being more honest up front. We both know dog bites and scratches can get infected pretty easily. So, of course, it is a concern.
I did say anything at the time. I was tired and did not want to seem rude. I did follow up with a detailed email to there. I have yet to receive a response. They charge $ 50 a night, plus a day care fee if you do not pick them up first thing. After $ 130, I expect my pet to at least be unharmed when I pick them up. So board at your own risk.

I have a German Shepherd that benefits from a long, hard, day of play. I just moved toward this side of town and just picked her up from her evaluation. The staff is friendly, the facilities, are clean, and they have a very mom and pop store vibe. My pup will be coming back and after today’s visit anticipate she will have nothing but a good time.

$ 500 to board a small dog while we were on vacation? Man. We could have gotten a whole new dog for much less than that. I’m pretty sure that after not seeing the mutt for a dozen days, I could probably get a new one and no one would notice. «No, that’s okay honey… *I’ll* take the dog to the doggy day-​care…» But if I miscalculate on this, the results could be dire. You know, I’m not even sure I got our original dog back. I bet they just give out random dogs. As long as people keep dropping them off, they can keep the racket going.
Of course I’m kidding. I’m sure they treat the pets well there. As far as I’m concerned, this business is A-​OK.

We and more importantly our pups love this place. We not only board them and they can’t wait to get inside but we also take them for daycare twice or three times a week. Everybody there is great and our pups come home good and tired. They have a great time. Fido Fido cares about the dogs, its not just a business for them.

My dog has been coming here since it first opened several years ago. She is always ecstatic to pull up in the parking lot so that is really the only barometer that I need to gauge my satisfaction (on the two times, that I made the mistake of taking her to the Pet Smart Day Care, she tried to run *from* the door when we arrived). When I arrive to pick her up, she is always tired and seems really happy. The staff knows her by name and if I bring snacks for her, they always are sure to tell me what time she had them and whether or not she ate them. I feel like she is well taken care of at Fido Fido. We recently rescued another dog and I took both dogs to Fido Fido last week. Upon pick up, our newest tried to go back in the door with the staff member rather than go home. While I was only mildly insulted by this transgression, I was super happy to know that both pups had a great day and were treated as well as they would be at home.

This was a good place to board your dogs in the past, but it is not anymore! I have been overcharged, promised a refund that never came, our dogs had their beds taken away from them and were made to sleep on the floor, and the staff tried to lie about it! We have also had trouble getting the staff to feed our dogs properly, despite the fact we individually bag each dog’s meal. The dogs have also come home several times with cuts or scrapes, but the staff never has wasn’t idea how these marks happened. The staff is either poorly trained or incompetent. Either way I no longer trust then with my dogs. If you love your dogs like my wife and I do, take your dogs ANYWHERE else!

This place is awesome!!! I love dogs, but sometimes having a dog in the city and especially having a big dog like ours in an apartment just doesn’t feel fair to our doggy friend. After having taken Jake to fido fido for a few weeks now I can say every dog owner should take their dog to daycare at least a few times. The people that work here are friendly, they remember you and your dog and really take the time to let you know they care and appreciate your business. Their facilities are clean and they treat all of their clients (human and canine) very well.
I would highly recommend this place to any of my dog owner friends. It is great for the dogs because they get to play alllll day long, and great for us owners as well because our dogs come home tired. :)

From the less than polite front desk staff to the sad state of the «suites» on the upper level this place is NO good. They market themselves as being upscale but I am not sure what «upscale» means to them The smell of bleach and urine hits you the moment you walk in the door. As an owner of 3 small dogs there is no way on earth I’d let my pups stay here. The brief «tour» I received was more then enough to make me run fast in the other direction.

I found the level of service at Fido Fido to be rather mediocre. Though the staff did well to remember (for the most part) my name and Bijou’s — after we came for the initial consultation — there were a few things I found unsatisfactory.
As a high-​maintenance pet owner (I will readily admit!) I would’ve liked to know at least at some point that the staff had not been able to accomodate Bijou in a «zen» room. I wanted to put Bijou in a room with high walls so that she would have some more privacy (she often gets anxious). I only found out upon my boyfriend picking her up that she had stayed in a pen instead. She was also wet on the belly when my boyfriend picked her up, and somewhat stinky (despite FF’s policy of bathing if the pet has an accident or gets into something foul). They lost our food scooper as well.
Overall, probably not a terrible place — but when I pay $ 30 – 45 a night for my dog to stay somewhere, I expect great service!

The people at Fido Fido are great — they take the time to know you and your pet. I don’t feel like just another customer here. They always greet me and my dog by name as we enter the door.
I take my dog here occasionally for doggie day care and I have also boarded her here a lot. It didn’t take long for them to treat me as a valued customer and now I most definitely am one.
Of course the most important thing is that I know Shon is in good hands when I take her here. She gets to play all day and the price is right for the amount of fun she has. I’d recommend them to anyone who needs a place to board their pet in Atlanta.
The only thing I don’t like is that they don’t offer Sunday pickup so I’ve had to use other places for Saturday overnight trips. Other than that, they’re great!

As a new pet owner, I must say that I was very nervous with the idea of leaving my pet with a boarder. However, the people at Fido Fido are very friendly, and of course made me feel totally comfortable about leaving my dog with them. The facility was VERY clean, and dog friendly and to my relief, after 3 visits, my dog has never gotten sick after her stay there! Their website describes them as being a dog boutique, offering a varied amount of services from doggy daycare, boarding, massages, clicker training and much more! My dog and I love this place! They even offer gourmet cookies!
