I found this place through scout mob on a 50% off deal. I kind of have inner guilt about using coupons so I try to find a place where I’ll like the most expensive thing they offer so at least I’ll rack up some kind of tab lol. It’s literally 3 min from my house and I was craving sushi so I figured why not give it a try. I’m assuming it was the owner that was patiently waiting at the door greeting and seating the patrons. The service was very sweet and the owner/waitress/hostess was helpful with distinguishing everything for me. I ordered the chef sampler of nigiri and a salmon roll and got my son a kids chicken bowl with fried rice. The sushi came with a typical iceberg salad with a heavy ginger dressing and a miso soup with a couple specks of cubed tofu and some type of greens. Both were less than average. The kids bowl was not great. The fried rice was flavorless and very greasy even after adding an ample amount of soy sauce and the chicken was rubbery and bland as well. Even my 7 yo son was not happy about his meal and usually rice and anything does the trick with him. My sushi was good but not great and it took an abnormally long time considering I was the only one in the restaurant, I can’t imagine how long it takes if it’s busy. I like their pickled ginger I think it has a hint of lemon but none of it was necessarily anything to write home about. My son liked the salmon roll that’s pretty much what he had for dinner because he ditched the rice bowl. Even after a 50% off coupon i spent $ 30 for dinner and I’m still hungry and so is my child. I really liked the service but wouldn’t go back.

Great service… Fun to watch them make sushi. Great quality sushi, very fresh fish, fun interesting rolls to choose from. Reasonable price point. I’ll be back to eat in or take away!

I love Enzo! I have been going there for a couple years now and always have a great time. Whether I am picking up a to-go order or eating in, I always have a great experience. The staff know me by name and always take the time to see how I am. Great portions for the price and good lunch specials! The chicken teriyaki is always great and the sushi is always fresh. If you’re in the area, get this food!

I moved down from upstate New York, where there was not nearly the range or quality of ethnic cuisine. That said, there were plenty of non-Japanese run«sushi» restaurants that focused more on rolls than on sushi with poor service and high prices. With all the other amazing restaurants in Atlanta that have blown me away, I was simply disappointed with Enzo. Enzo would be adequate and slightly overpriced in upstate New York. Here in Atlanta with the options that are nearby? I’m honestly surprised some of my coworkers actually want to eat here. Poor service, merely acceptable sushi and high prices. It wasn’t awful, but I think Unilocal’s description for two stars sums it up very well: «Meh. I’ve experienced better.»

Great hidden gem of sandy springs! The staff is very friendly and the sushi is always surprisingly delicious for such a hole in the wall type of place.

Worst service ever. SERVERNEVERLISTENSANDJUSTWANTEDTORUSHORDERS. 1. Took them a long time to come to our table 2. I asked them if green tea was free, they said yes. Charges us for it in the end of our meal even after I said it’s not my fault you did not hear me but still responded yes. 3. I said clearly, multiple times, I probably will want a side of Fried rice LATER, don’t put it in yet, I want to see if I am full by the end of the first order. She placed the order and the Fried rice came FIRST. 4. She was rude and did not want to take off our green tea charge. Whatever, I gave 0 tips. No respect.

Good sushi, good service, good value. I’ve been here many times, as I live in an adjacent neighborhood. I have not had anything super-spectacular, nor have I had any bad experiences. This is a good, reliable place to come grab some sushi or hibachi.

I would love this environment, it’s clean and cozy and the food is decent. The biggest problem is the service. It took us 10 minute to get a menu and another 10 to get our water. It seems as though they are low on staff, but it’s just way too long.

Enzo Hibachi grill & sushi is a small Korean owned«Japanese» restaurant located in Sandy Springs. Hours of operation(as of January 2016) are: Mon-Friday: 11:30−2:30(Lunch) 5:00−10:00(Dinner) Sat-Sunday: Closed(Lunch), 5:00 — 10:30pm(Dinner Saturdays only) We visited here on a Saturday around 9:00 pm. The place was semi-packed. There were two sushi cooks at the counter area and one female server. One of the men at the counter guided us to a table as soon as we entered the restaurant. we thought«ok this place seems nice!» WRONG. The one female server was HORRIBLE. It took her 10 minutes to give us a menu, and an additional 10 minutes to serve us water. The gentlemen at the counter noticed our frustration and ended up serving us instead. It took us 50 minutes to get our food served after entering. We ordered the Gyoza, Sashimi appetizer, Tonkatsu, spicy salmon maki roll, and fried rice.(Pictures uploaded on Unilocal.) Unfortunately, they were out of Tonkatsu sauce so they gave us some tartar looking sauce instead which was not bad. Overall the food was OK. The sashimi appetizer was amazing, but the other food was very bland. Even the spicy salmon maki roll was bland. Very disappointing, especially because of all these raving reviews. I will probably come visit this place for lunch next time(notice most reviews are about lunch).

I somehow ended up at Enzo in Sandy Springs after craving sushi while grocery-shopping hungry. I thought it was just okay. I got a lunch special — it was the salmon combo. It came with a piece of salmon, some tempura, fried rice, miso soup, 4 pieces of sushi, and mixed veggies. In their defense, I did have it to-go. However, I thought it was just okay. For about $ 10 it was a good deal with the amount of food they gave, but it wasn’t as great as other places I’ve had similar priced similar items. The fried rice was ok. The salmon was dry and slightly sweet(I guess that’s the teriyaki though). The mixed veggies were really good. They did get my order wrong also. I asked for the salad instead of the soup. The miso soup wasn’t bad, but barely had any tofu or greens. Also, the combination was suppose to come with salmon rolls and it came with california rolls. I was looking forward to the salmon rolls though. Also, they do have a scoub mob but it cannot be used during lunch. All in all, it was a 3-star experience. I would be willing to try it again though… with the scout mob next time though: P

First time here and overall it was a good experience. I had the shrimp hibachi and it’s like a bent box that also included some California rolls and two sweet potato tempura. Service was fast. I’ll be back to try out more sushi.

You won’t go wrong here. If you’re looking for sushi prepared well, this is it. I live over 30 minutes away and this is still my go to sushi place. The calamari role(forgot the name) is soooooo good.

So I stopped by and picked up my husband to have a quick a lunch since I was in the area. He suggested Enzo which was just up the street. He’s been raving about it for years to me. The food was amazing! A hibachi bento box with tempura sweet potato, hibachi chicken, shrimp, veggies, and four pieces of California roll. I can put some food away, n’ I was stuffed by the time we finished eating. Now the bad part. We arrived at the restaurant at 2PM, and didn’t realize that they close at 2:30PM, and then reopen for dinner service. Our server very quickly let us know that the restaurant closed at 2:30, and asked if we could hurry up and order. WTH? We said, we would n’ she hovered over our table until we decided on something. She brought out the check before we received our food and asked us to pay, which we did. She came back after running our card and put the CC slips on the table, stood there and asked me to sign it. Again, WTH? Once more, the food was excellent however the service and hurried atmosphere ruined the experience for me/us. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants tasty Japanese food, just don’t go close to closing time.

My favorite sushi place on this side of town! My sister and I usually end up here Friday evenings. All of the workers are always very nice and we only order rolls so we never have to wait long. My favorites are the Maui, chik-fil-a, spider and don’t forgot about the hot sake!

My wife and I absolutely love this place, we have been coming here for years now. This is a small sushi place, but the sushi is always fresh, and their prices are great. My wife loves the First Lady roll and the sunset roll, my personal favorite is the calamari roll and sexy trio roll… Sometimes service can be a little slow but it is worth the wait.

I have been to Enzo twice in the past couple months and I really enjoy it, our lunch group always receives quick service and you can definitely be in and out in a 40 minute range for your lunch hour. I have had both the sushi and the habachi lunch specials and I find them reasonably priced and really great, but I did enjoy the sushi more. Very fresh and tasty, I think the biggest problem I have here is not knowing what to eat because I like so much of it!

Sushi is amazing but service is terribly slow. They only have one server every time we come there and they need more help! If service was faster I would recommend and would give 4 stars…

The food was very fresh and creative. I had the seafood miso soup. The soup was a good size and had lots if seafood in it. I also had one of the specials, the Georgia Bulldog roll. The fish was very fresh and the roll was very creative. I would recommend this place to sushi lovers.

This is a very common place to get lunch with office buildings nearby. This place is fairly small so be conscious of your party size. The food is always good. My favorite is the atomic bomb, you’ll know why when you order it. That roll is the number one reason I go there. All their rolls are really good. They’re relatively fast with orders and presentation is great. The customer service is so-so. Sometimes it’s great, other times it’s average. Nothing to rave about really. It’s good sushi and a nice atmosphere. I would recommend Enzo to everyone.

For a small sushi place, they certainly deliver in terms of quality and customer service. Enzo has a great happy hour special as well as lunch incentives if you frequent the place. This is my favorite low-key sushi place in sandy springs and certainly a bang for your buck compared to similar places nearby!

Now that most of my coworkers are at the Pointe, I’ve been with them to Enzo a couple of times. The restaurant, at the end of the strip mall, features the sushi bar and several 4 top tables. There space is open, good for flow. They’ve got a good deal on a decent bento box, though they don’t call it that. It’s labeled as «Lunch Hibachi». It comes with your choice of soup or salad, choice of meat, 2 scoops of fried rice, sauteed mixed veggies, 4 pc California roll, and 2 pieces of sweet potato tempura. I have gotten shrimp both times, to the tune of $ 7.95. You can get combination of 2 or 3 meats for a little more. You can also get soup AND salad for a $ 1. Most recently, I swapped my California roll for a Chick-fil-a roll(fried chicken with avocado and spicy mayo), which was an upcharge of $ 2(interesting since the full roll is only $.45 more than a California roll on the menu). Without the change to the roll, it would’ve been $ 8.95, which I consider quite reasonable for the amount of food. The food is pretty good. Ginger salad has a generous portion of ginger dressing. Miso is cloudy with a few bits of tofu and seaweed. The shrimp are cooked well so that they’re not too chewy. The fried rice isn’t too greasy, but it doesn’t have many vegetables to it. The sauteed veggies are my favorite — just enough oil to be flavorful, but to so much to taste greasy. The sweet potato tempura is a little too greasy and could benefit from some tempura sauce to cut through the grease. There’s a compartment for tasty white sauce, which I dip pretty much everything in, in lieu of tempura sauce. The Chick fil a roll just tastes like white meat chicken — I couldn’t taste that it was fried. Not bad, not great. As you’d expect of a Japanese place, the service is really good — quick to take drink orders and food orders when you’re ready, keeping the glasses refilled, and bringing all the utensils and accessories needed. The price is right, but for the quality, I’d rather go to Circle Sushi up the street.

I’m guessing this place has slightly improved since people have reviewed it last. I had no idea this place was up here, but Scoutmob changed that. Now it makes for a good stop on the way to/from Ale Yeah but I digress. I think service might still be kind of questionable if the place gets busy. There were either 2 or 3 women working as servers at a time and they had to be all over the place. It’s not a matter of them not caring, but just that they are doing a lot all over the place at once. This is a very odd shopping center with like a nightclub on one end and Enzo on the other. Enzo is pretty small inside, but nice. We sat at the sushi bar. Their menu online is kind of different from what we had. The best thing I think is the option to order half rolls. I always love to get a plain avocado roll, so being able to just get 4 pieces is perfect. Other than that for plain rolls, we had spicy tuna and spicy hamachi. Props for not using an abundance of spicy mayo on the tuna, but using other methods for heat. And then everything else was crazy and not my usual type of sushi but why the hell not go for it. One of them I can’t really tell you what it was because it’s not on the online menu and I just agreed to it without paying attention. It was called a Yellow Submarine roll and it was coated in too much sauce for my liking. I believe it was tuna and jalapeño at least, and a couple other things then deep fried. It wasn’t bad but I’m kind of over deep fried rolls. At some sushi place closer to where my boyfriend used to live, I used to always get a chicken tempura roll because it was SOGOOD. I thought maybe the Chick-Fil-A roll would be like that, with the added bonus of avocado, but it was a completely fried roll too. It was kind of flavorless too probably because of too much fried aspects. And then… we ordered the most ridiculous sushi roll I have ever seen. It was a special called the Atomic Bomb. It was basically a spicy tuna roll with cream cheese inside, topped with seared salmon. So you think cool he’s got a torch, he’s gonna sear the salmon now. NOPE. He wraps the roll in foil, pours vodka around it on the plate and SETSTHATONFIRE. And that is what sears the salmon. But not very much, I think it more gave the rice a smoky flavor which was awesome. Again this was another one with too much sauce, but at least one of those sauces was sriracha. Thanks to Scoutmob this was all $ 25, and I think we went all out because of it. I was full, in the best terrible Americanized sushi kind of way. Given the abundance of speciality rolls on their menu I don’t think I’d really ever go with anything traditional here. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t that great either. I’d come back though. They also have happy hour drink specials from 5−7pm, which was like $ 2 sake and a couple other things I don’t remember because the piece of paper made it sound like you couldn’t use coupons if you took advantage of that stuff.
