I love this place! I’ve been here twice and have never been disappointed. The waiting area is calming and the receptionist is very friendly. Also, the music in the room is very relaxing. Latrissha is awesome at what she does and has such a kind spirit. She listens to your needs and gets right to work! I had a really bad knot in my lower back and she smoothed it right on out. Also, she gave me great tips on how to handle my posture and quick ways to alleviate future pain. It’s very evident that Latrissha loves what she does. Of course I’ll come back!

This massage was amazing. I had just come off a 14 hour plane flight and my neck and shoulders were as tight as they get. LaTrissha spent the entire hour working on my upper body and made me feel like new! It was so much better than anything I’d ever gotten at a chain spa. I can’t wait to go back!

I’m definitely a new fan of Trish’s massages. During my first visit, I was still recovering from a cold so I had trouble with breathing because of some congestion. Trish made the point to help me towards the end of my back massage by massaging my face to help unblock my sinuses. This was amazing.
She’s also super friendly and knowledgeable. I wasn’t sure what to expect (and I’ve definitely tried different massage places) because this was in a medical office park building. Since my appointment was a little later, like around 7pm, I was surprised that this building was still accessible. Basically, Trish has her own office and there is a separate room for the massage. The space is adequate and tranquil without feeling too claustrophobic or anything.
I definitely like the convenience of booking online and being able to pay in advanced. While her rates are a little more expensive than Massage Envy or even Spa Sydell, to me, this is worth it.

A friend of mine bought me this massage as a Birthday gift. What a GREAT gift! One of the best massages I’ve ever had. The massage therapist was so nice and very professional. I was so relaxed after and felt tons better! She worked her magic. I would recommend this place to everyone. The definitely will be going back!

Jimmy found this place through Groupon. I used the online booking tool to schedule my 50-​minute massage, which was really great — to see how full the schedule was and get an idea of good times, as well as easily book my own.
When I arrived, I was a little worried by the age of the building and the construction being done outside (including jackhammering). I made my way to the corner of the 2^nd floor where AMR is located.
The receptionist was friendly and handed me the paperwork to fill out. Latrissha was also there to say hello. They both explained that they’d try to call to reschedule on account of the jackhammering. I explained that as long as it wasn’t a screaming child, I wouldn’t mind.
I explained where I needed attention, and she focused on that. I had a hurts-​so-​good moment, when I thought for a second about asking her to ease up, but then realized that’s how tense I was and that I really needed that much pressure. Despite the jackhammering, it was a perfectly relaxing experience.
At the end, the receptionist took my groupon and saved it for when my husband came in for the other use. I appreciated that they handled it, making that process less stressful as well.
I look forward to going back, Groupon on not!

Thank you Latrisha. Having been tossed into Atlanta for a few days during a business trip i was in need of some straightening out. I checked out trip advisor and Unilocal for some suggestions for a great massage. When I came across Atlanta massage retreat I saw all the reviews were excellent and Latrisha certainly lived up to the standards. She was professional, funny and certainly knew her stuff on the table. I left feeling relaxed and a little sore the next day as I expected as she was able to dig out some tight spots. Latrisha had a great way of using a lot of pressure without making it hurt so much.
I am thrilled to have found this place and look forward to my ATL return.

I love this woman. Every session/​massage with her is different depending on your problem areas. Still loving the convenience of her online appointment tool. She offers a couple of membership plans as well as the Stressbuster package (6 1-​hour massages for ~$ 200). I tried out the Stressbuster package late last year and just recently had the last one of my six massages. I am sad that they are over, but it only means that I need to get myself another package!
Give Latrissha a shot, you won’t regret it.

The service exceeded my expectations. She was courteous not chatty and it was relaxing! I had to wait about 10 min but that didn’t bother me! I would have liked to have more smells in the room maybe lavender or eucalyptus but that wasn’t a deal breaker. Massage was great I will go again

LaTrissha did a wonderful job on my ever so painful back. The thing that sold me was her heated bed! Oh my gosh. If you had massages on non heated tables, you feel like you just can’t get warm enough! I definitely support local small business and I am happy to have found Atlanta Massage Retreat!

I met the owner at a recent fall festival in Smyrna, GA and she was very engaging at that time. She gave me and all who wanted a free chair massage. THAT felt so awesome. I booked my appointment on the spot! Today, I went for first massage… OMG! You have the option to dress down to your comfort level and then the peace and serenity enters your mind and body. This was the best experience ever! I was so relaxed; I fell asleep on the table and probably snored a little… lol! I recommend you go see her ASAP! $ 45 for 1 hour of pure bliss! There’s currently a check-​in special for $ 19.99 for a 30 minute massage. U will not be disappointed!
