I’ve been getting my Jeep and Yukon serviced at Berkshire for about a year. I use them for regular maintenance as well as custom modifications. Always a good price, complete answers, and fast service. Most importantly, the quality has been extraordinary. Every time I get some work done, the shop has a constant flow of people and their problems… but the service here remains consistently professional and the staff focused on each customer. Don’t know how they do it.

Nothing more valuable than a trusted mechanic. The rear brakes on my 1999 Honda Accord have been squeaking. They had never been replaced so I fully expected to hear I needed new pads and perhaps new drums. To my pleasant surprise, Jim from Berkshire called to let me know the brakes were fine, they simply needed some cleaning and adjusting. He also noted the car was due for an oil change and offered to do it at a discount given the car was already on the lift. Great service.

I left my car to see if I needed a new clutch. They found I did along with myriad other problems. They told me it would add up to 3500 of repairs. I told them not to touch the car and thanks for their time. As I paid the $ 110 fee for looking at the car they told me that if I got work done within a month I’d have that money put towards the work. OK. The next day someone calls me in the morning and leaves a message to say that we could discuss payment or pricing plans, I honestly don’t remember. Then a woman called that afternoon and left a message to get feedback the same day. I called and told them I was calling back out of courtesy to answer their questions. They asked my name and passed me on. The woman answered bewildered and when I told her I was not having work done on my car but was calling back to help she said, «OK…» and then I said, «OK, well thanks I guess.» and we hung up. About an hour later someone else called me to tell me that they could possibly get it done at a cheaper price. 1.) Shady that the prices suddenly can be cheaper 2.) I wasn’t going to post anything online I was going to tell them on the phone but they didn’t give me the time of day Also, I found a place to do the work for $ 2000. Interesting…

Thank you to the staff at Berkshire for their attention and customer service. This summer I hit a deer and have a new front end. I had it repaired at the dealership. Little by little some problems are cropping up and Berkshire had resolved them. Thank you for coming to my home to start my car. It was the best!

I suggest Mitzy actually read my review. If she feels returning to a auto repair center 5 times due to leaking oil from a simple oil change is good service then I would stick with them if I were her. What irritated me the most was that not one time did they ever apologize to me for wasting my time in making 3 additional trips to have the leaks corrected. I expect a routine service to be completed without issue and without need to return to have it repeated. Ignorance is not acceptable in my world. I have been using Monro and Valvoline in Monroe(both companies where one might expect to have an issue) since with out incident. Honestly you must be significantly incompetent not to be able to provide an oil change that does not leak. As I have completed over 30 reviews and you have only 1 which is the Berkshire review I would suggest that you are infact related to a Berkshire owner.
