This is a beautiful salt marsh and beach area by the mouth of the Cape Cod Canal. However, the Town of Sandwich has really let the maintenance of the parking areas and beach deteriorate. The permanent restrooms were torn down and replaced by plastic outhouses. The snack bar was torn down and replaced by occasional street vendors. What are the parking sticker fees and daily parking fees used for?

Beautiful sights ESP at sundown! You can get in free after 4 PM. It does get a bit chilly so wear long sleeves. Wear sandals because the boardwalk leads to the beach.
