I remember working for them when I was in my 20’s. I came from their Chicago office to help them out in little Sandusky because nobody else in the Chicago office would. I had been warned! From the first day, the trading desk manager had me doing things that I was not licensed to do. Making illegal trades in customers accounts without the authorization of the account holders, giving trading advice to traders over the phone, keeping up historical charts for certain favored traders and making recommendations on trades and market direction when I didn’t have a series 3 license to do such tasks. After explaining to the boss’ son who requested the help from Chicago that I didn’t have a license to perform these tasks and felt that it was wrong to order me to do so and that I didn’t want any trouble with the SEC because I wanted to eventually obtain my license… he sent me back to Chicago and stated lies about my work habits, meals that were ordered by me on his account and other slanderous remarks that prompted the Chicago office to relieve me of employment at the company.
