Super cute place to take kids. The deer, goats, llamas, peacocks etc are all really friendly. Hold on to your bag of food because they really will steal it, or rip the bottom off.

Absolutely worth the trip to see the 200+ animals. It’s fairly inexpensive and worth every penny when the deer, goats, and alpacas come right up to you for the feed. Very friendly animals and staff. Highly recommend.

So worth the stop. Its on the way heading back to Detroit from Kalahari and the deer come rite up to you and eat right out of your hand. The kids love it. I remember going here when I was a kid and I’m able to bring my kids here now. There is also a pond there that you can feed fish and there has to be hundreds of them in there. It has a little shop inside that has some T-Shirts and little knick knacks. There’s baby deer too peacocks goats and a big bull that’s so ugly its adorable. Over all a must not miss stop on your trip.

I these types of places. So when I came across this place, I was excited. At first we were the only ones there. and I was excited we would have the animals to ourselves… until we stepped into the«ring» and they saw the brown paper bag. The other review was not kidding. They freakin’ love their peanuts. And they will nip your shirt, your pants, even your ass to get them. It was like a stampede towards us. At one point, I finally saw a family with brown bags on the other side and I booked it over to them… deer in hot pursuit. I looked like a comedy movie, I’m sure. I managed to blend those deer with the others and pass them off to the other family like a curse. Then I was able feed emu and peacocks and Pygmy goats. I stuck a peanut in my mouth to turn my camera on by the emus and it stole it right from my mouth! It was fun. There are several food bag choices. I suggest the $ 5 bag. It’s the largest and you won’t piss the animals off as quickly. We were even able to go back in and buy more food for them.

This is a fun way to burn through a couple hours. The deer are tame and they will mob you! Be sure to buy plenty of peanuts for everyone. If you take little kids, hold on to the bag of peanuts for them — the deer will take the bag right out of their hands! My wife and teen-age daughters liked this place. You will take plenty of pictures when you are here, so have the camera charged up! Remember this is a local, family-owned amusement park. No slick corporate marketing here… The folks that own and work here are nice, friendly, and justifiably proud of their business.

The girlfriend loves critters. She loves critters in the same way I love bourbon. There isn’t a week that goes by when I am not hearing a pitch about how wonderful the newest exotic pet is and how happy I would be if I got one. Seeing as I killed the last plant I had in my office, I will leave all things furry, scaly, or slimy to her. Whilst waiting around a gas station I found a brochure for the deer park in the local attractions kiosk. I tucked it in my back pocket knowing this would be her happy place. After a long weekend of boating and day drinking we made our way to the much hyped deer park. And I must say, our deer molestation dreams come true. It’s basically what you expect it would be. It is a large caged in area full of deer. The deer are a big fan of peanuts and because you happen to have a big bag of peanut a fan of you. They will basically follow you around and even chase you to get said peanuts. Things get a little rough when the peanuts run out. The deer expect peanuts. I repeat, they expect peanuts. If they don’t get peanuts, they will eat your shirt. If you run, they will give chase till they find someone else with delicious salty treats. Personal space violations aside, the animals seemed happy and they have lots of space, shade, and food. If you need an overdose of cute, I recommend you cough up the price of admission and get the big bag of peanuts.
