We just moved back to Oklahoma. Looking forward to Mazzio’s. The large pepperoni we ordered was inedible. It was sitting in and covered in grease. Every piece of pizza we picked up all the toppings/cheese slide off the grease soaked limp crust. Very disappointed. Threw the pizza out.

The one star is a stretch! Should stick to pizza. The wings we ordered didn’t come out til we were already done with our pizza and ready to go. Had to ask a manager 3 times for our food. And still were given the wrong order but ate it anyways because we were tired of waiting.

This, in my opinion, isn’t one of the best Mazzio’s in the area, but it isn’t bad either. I would recommend coming here to anyone who wants a quick bite and a decent buffet. To Jim K(reviewer below me) — I laughed at Chicago comment as well. I’ve lived in Oklahoma since the end of 1998 but am originally from New York and give credit where credit is due. There are a few New York style and Chicago style pizza locations that are pretty dang good in the Tulsa area. Maybe a bit more research on that would have helped that reviewer have a better experience. Mazzio’s is standard Oklahoma pizza.

I ate here and thought it was 3.5’ish out of 5. It was fine and nothing should discourage you from eating here, esp a suburban clown from Indiana telling anyone who will listen she’s from Chicago. I live in NYC and very much enjoyed this restaurant’s food, service, and cleanliness. It’s a shame when reviewers want to give more space to the image they want to convey than to the actual restaurant. If the food, service or something else substantive is poor, then by all means, tell it in the review. Otherwise, address the info people want to see about the restaurant: not the reviewer.

I know it is not fair to compare pizza in Tulsa to my home town of Chicago but… don’t bother if Mazzio’s is the only choice you have. We checked ahead to see if the restaurant served beer. Just getting that info was a challenge because you have to call an 800# and never get to speak to the restaurant. After getting the run around they confirmed that Sand Springs served beer. I ordered the appitizers and was very dissappointed. Everything was fried and tasteless. Our pizza was okay. Kind of Pizza Hut-like. The afore mentioned beer was limited to Bud and Bud Lite. Yuch. If you don’t know any better, Mazzio’s may be okay. If you do, don’t bother.

Because I work at Mazzios in another location, I had pretty good expectations for this restaurant. The layout is very similar to the place I work. Much to my disappointment, not only was the front staff unprofessional and unfriendly, but orders were getting mixed up left and right. Our pizza didn’t even get made until just before we left because they forgot we ordered one. Our own restaurant hasn’t experienced that kind of disorganization since it changed management over a year ago. I have never been more angry or disappointed with another Mazzios before.
