Mr. Phxit, LLC

I reported Chris Tinsley, DBA Mr. Phxit to the Arizona Register of Contractors for Contracting without a License. I had hired him to repair my water damaged balcony this past summer. After he had my balcony torn apart he told me his welder had broke. He said he could not finish the job without the final payment to buy a new welder. So like an idiot I believed him and gave him the final payment. It has been over three months and he hasn’t finished the job or corrected the sloppy work he has done. This consists of screwing abutting corner fascia boards into my balconies electrical lighting junction boxes for support thus creating a potential shock hazard. The stucco he slopped onto my home where the metal balcony railings connect to my home doesn’t match in color or texture although he assured me it would. Screws where left off the center of the bases of the support railings and they now have a large gap between them and the balcony. When he showed up to my home this summer he fraudulently told me he didn’t need a contractors license because my job was under $ 2500. But upon researching after the fact I discovered the dollar amount at which you are required to have a contractors license is actually $ 750. This should have precluded him for bidding on my job in the first place and doing the sloppy work he attempted.
