Flashing a huge banner outside that states it’s UNDERNEWMANAGEMENT, I don’t know if that’s a good sign or not, but as Motel 6 guests can get 10% off their meals, I decided to breakfast here before heading back to SF. Walked in just before 11am and seated promptly, and the service was a bit spotty. The place was packed and I suspect the kitchen just has one cook judging by how the orders were served and the length of time required. I ordered a mushroom and spinach omlet which was quite good. I was also surprised to see they used real mushrooms and not the canned variety. This came with a slice of orange and cantalope, and toast. I ordered hash-browns separately and it was good slightly-browned. This restaurant also has a variety of photographs(yaaay) plus a few tiny thin-metal sculptures of cars, of which I liked so much I photographed them. Service was good and was even told that my food would be forthcoming after too long a wait, which was nice. If the owners are new, I suspect in a few more months and with more experience under their belt, they will be ironing out the bugs. Hotel parking lot supplies a lot of room to leave your car. Entrance through the Motel 6 reception area, or a door off the street.
