You Move Me Walnut Creek

You Move Me was fantastic! The 2 guys were awesome… James Price and Chris Schmidt were the movers. They lifted my new 250 lb slot machine up a flight of stairs and up onto a stand. They did great and covered the walls and floor so not to damage anything. Would go back here again next time I need something heavy moved.

We just moved to our new home and youmoveme guys helped us to get the things done very smoothly.
the followup they did before moving like how to pack the stuff. when they will arrive and offered us coffee to bring it to home they came on time. guys name james and Richard are very friendly packed the stuff with utmost care and moved in time.
they didnt charge for the break and journey time and billed us with exact time and the price is reasonable
will defied recommend them.

You Move Me, moved my family from Danville to walnut creek very quickly in one single trip! The customer service that Kevin Ford, Richard Rico, and Dominic Garcia provided was excellent. No damage, fast, friendly, very satisfied with the move.

Awful. Avoid.
We were moving out of a two bedroom apartment. Very straightforward. But somehow they were just not capable of handling this move.
First we were scheduled on a Sunday for our move. Then we got a call saying they were suddenly «overbooked» and switched us to a Saturday (even though we had already planned and coordinating everything for Sunday). But we were flexible and said fine.
Then they sent us two movers and they were awful. They were inexperienced. Ultimately one of the movers picked up a fountain we have on our patio and they didn’t know how to do it and they ended up dropping it and he broke the fountain AND his finger!
We had to stop the move entirely. We encouraged the mover to go to the ER but he refused. The manager shows up and basically the mover who broke his finger continues to move because he is the only person insured to drive the truck? (Seems completely unfair to the mover and that is a workers comp issue… nevertheless)
We get to the new house. They tell us they wont compensate for the expensive fountain.
The next day we discover they forgot to move our entire storage unit which we had pointed out to them from the very beginning.
So now we are left to hand carry and move all of those items ourselves!
We also found brooms and cleaning supplies they forgot in a closet.
They were terrible.

First time using this company and I must say they are amazing. Friendly and Professional.

They came in assessed the home. Wrapped everything up and padded doors and entry ways. 3 bedroom was done. Out the old and in the new home. Even gave a welcome home plant.

We just moved 2 miles to another home with the help of You Move Me. I had done some research on the internet and discover this new service which was started by the same fellow who starts 1−800-Junk. I went ahead and received a second quote from a traditional mover in the area who receives high marks. You Move Me turned out to be half as much in price.
They were very prompt, friendly + professional with our furnishing. They very time conscious trying to save us money as well. After all, they provide a truck and as much help that it will take to move you within the parameters discussed. For us it was a move over 2 different days, one day for the furnishing for our new home and the second day for the storage locker. It wasn’t an easy move but they made it look easy. I would highly recommend their service for anyone moving!!!

Kevin, Rich and Chris were so helpful, quick and reliable. They even helped move our area rugs from room to room. They used moving pads and shrink wrap for everything we needed moved.

Experienced exceptional service when moving our dining room set to storage along with a few other nice pieces. Kevin Rich and Chris were fast and efficient, but not rushed. They were very careful to protect our items. I was able to book them the same day! Each of our members were kind and answered any of my questions. They even helped me move boxes between storage units by hand. I would highly recommend them and plan to use them in the future

We recently moved about a week ago. The scheduling process was seamless. We even received a confirmation call about a week prior to our move so that they could review everything and ask additional questions. They even asked if they could bring us coffee or energy drinks the day of our move, which was a wonderful nice touch. Jeff and Richard showed up as scheduled and were super friendly and helpful. They got everything wrapped and loaded with no issues. The unload process was just as easy and smooth. We were thrilled with our experience and would definitely use them again in the future. We were super impressed with the service from these guys. Evan Cartwright and James Price were our movers, and were both really friendly, made sure things were handled carefully and placed exactly where we needed it. We had a lot of stuff — LOTS of stuff — packed precariously in a tall transport, and they got it done really quickly — quicker than estimated, nothing damaged, and even helped us move some of the heavier furniture around after it was all in. We were extremely happy with how the move in went, thanks to them! Would definitely use again and highly recommend these guys!

They were really good. I recently moved from one part of Walnut creek to another. They were very professional. There were no damages .I will strongly recommend them for any moving.

This truly is a moving company with a difference. I’ve moved around quite a bit both local and long distance so I have experienced the trials and tribulations that come with a move many a times. My move this time was local and not really complicated but I also wasn’t as well organized as I’d expect to be. I was kind of relying on the movers to be flexible and work with me as we went along. You Move Me exceeded my expectations overall. From the first time I placed a call to get a quote, to the coffee they brought me on the day of the move and the little plant they left as moving gift they showed they were different from the rest of the market.
Customer service from day one was above par — Jimmy from the local office followed up consistently to ensure things were moving along on track. They gave me a reasonable quote and offered a 2 hour minimum (it’s 3 at most places). No deposit upfront and no obligation.
Kevin & James on the day of the move were excellent — they showed up a bit early and courteously waited for me while they set up for the move. They were professional, friendly and made handling the mess that I left unpacked a breeze. They were also quick to inform me of existing damages to the furniture (always a good sign!). It was just easy working with them!
No matter who moves you moving is stressful but I think this is a company that stands out from the crowd.

The movers we contracted failed to show the day of the move so I called «you moved me». We had the truck and the items ready to be loaded and these guys from «you move me» showed up short notice and did an amazing and professional work and within budget! Very happy with their work and seriously recommend!

Actually I had written this review for Kevin and James on the S. F site but it is really meant for the San Ramon bunch. Again we had to move mom from her place in San Ramon to our home in Oakland and they did a get job and saved us some cash and had to move the stuff up a steep hill and with no damages to some very valuable antiques. Great job again.

Me moved over the weekend into our new home. Kevin, James and Richard were superb. To start of, we got a call from Kevin at 06:30 updating us that they are on their way, and will be there on-​time at 07:00 on Saturday. They offered to bring us coffee/​tea if we prefer. Wow — what service. At 06:58 the truck rolled up in our driveway.
The crew were super cautious not to cause harm to our furniture, or damage any walls or doors. When the fridge did not fit into any of doors, they removed and re-​hung the front door as-​if it never got removed in the first place. They padded up all the door entries to ensure no walls were damaged with the heavy items.
Throughout the move, no matter that it was a hot day, the crew stayed friendly, courteous towards us and our dogs. Even to our 6yr old son that were extremely excited about being in our new home.
The professionalism of the team, the tidiness of their equipment and themselves, is a clear indication these guys are the best in the bay. I would recommend them to anyone looking to use a moving company. I would go as far as to suggest requesting Kevin, James and Richard by name. But then again, the caliber of these employees speak to the quality of the group. Well done guys, you definitely moved us.
PS… thank you for the house warming gift. This was a first.

I watch your movers Jeff and Evan Oct 1^st this week moved my friend Sue Miller from across town to her new appt. I was so impressed by the way they worked, their professionalism.
Their attitude was great, friendly. They had a job to do, and they did it and handled all her items with care. Someone always asking for a good moving company. I’m setting you up in our book as the BEST… GREAT JOB GUYS !!!

Moving is never easy, but moving with a bad hip is the worst. Kevin, Richard, and Dennis were amazing. Nothing damaged, easy to work with, and arrived on time. Even when the elevator stopped working, they didn’t. I couldn’t be more pleased. Thanks guys!

Mike and Kevin were on time, cordial, speedy, professional and tireless. They took a lot of care even with our more hastily packed items and were very creative in terms of efficiency and safe packaging of some very awkward shaped pieces. Impressive! Many thanks to them!

My family and I have moved more times than I like to count over the last 10 – 15 years.
You Move Me, I am a customer for life after the way you moved us this past weekend.
The move went off without a hitch!!! We received a call 45 minutes prior to arrival from the movers and were shocked to be asked if we would like any coffee or tea, on their way to our place. They arrived at 8:15 (scheduled for 8:30 arrival) Arriving early and asking about the coffee or tea was the first of many pleasant surprises we had using You Move Me.
The house warming gift (plant) at the end of the move was really a nice touch as well.

Michael and Caesar were awesome from start to finish. They were careful, courteous and conscious of our items. Door protectors, carpet runners and wall protectors all went up and on prior to lifting one item.
Two small negatives (reason I gave 4 stars in lieu of 5) was a lack of urgency /​speed in the move… at the hourly rate they charge I would have appreciated a quicker pace… but I am willing to give up the speed for them being careful with our property. Absolutely no damage was sustained due to their expert handling of all items, large or small. Second small negative was they left several pads at our new place that I am going to have to coordinate in returning.
In the end, I have to say that this is hands-​down the BEST moving company I have ever used. Book them and have peace of mind that your move will go smooth. The extra discount for mentioning Unilocal or Groupon is extra icing on the cake!
