Roller set oh yes has became my favorite. Being able to grow my hair healthy is so important to me. So glad I don’t have to burn my hair anymore. I love coming here. Plenty of laughs and more laughs very friendly and professional.

Do you want long, healthy hair? If yes, please book an appt. with Lawanda. She can do anything you want but she will advise you if something will damage your hair. She is honest, warm and has a lovely southern charm. I went to her shop today with damaged, over-​processed hair and I walked out feeling like a million bucks. She worked her magic and my hair looks completely healthy. We took pixs of my hair but I can’t download them.

I’m so glad I found Lawanda, she styles my hair super cute! I love how professional she is… She has you in and out of there + she doesn’t overbook and she’s very flexible. Did I forget to mention she’s in San Ramon too!!! I sure don’t miss driving way to Oakland to get a cute hair-​do that’s up to date, –and very fashionable :)

Id love to keep the 5 star ratings going but my experience wasnt quite the same as the rave reviews here.
Stylist is extremely pleasant, easy to talk with and Im sure would be a great person to hang out with since her personality is lovely. However, that unfortunately does not overshadow my disappointment.
1.) Sent pictures of the colors I was interested in well before my appt. Colors werent there when I arrived so had to walk to Wal-​Greens. Ok, Im looking slightly crazy at the head and have a salon cape on but sure no problem.
2.) Colors I picked were platinum blond with amber brown underneath. Ended up with honey blondish brown and milk chocolate brown instead. Top color was blending in with my facial skin tone which looks weird, is exactly what I didnt want and why I didnt pick this color myself.
3.) Wash was not very thorough. If I scratch immediately after a wash and have residue under my nails then thats no good. When I wash my own hair its literally squeaky clean.
4.) Didnt care for the products that were used on my hair. Made it feel weighted and dense rather than light and flowing which is what Im used to after a flat iron. Small amount of coconut oil rubbed in does wonders.
5.) Wash, Color, Trim & Flat Iron totaled $ 155 Compared to $ 100 for the same services with my previous stylist in Oakland.
I was excited to find a stylist familiar with ethnic hair in San Ramon based on convenience. But I was so unhappy with the color I couldn’t stand it and put a blue rinse in over it myself the very next weekend. Which actually turned out to be pretty awesome. Kind of an irridescent sea green/​blue which looks brilliant in the sunshine. I seem to be an outlier here but I’d rather continue doing my own hair or make the trip to Oakland.

Right now, I have the biggest smile on my face! Lawanda is the best stylist that I have had work on my hair since I moved to the Bay Area 15 years ago! Nor only did she make me beautiful, but she made suggestions on healthy hair care, and was so very friendly. Her salon is very relaxing and drama-​free! The only way she can get rid of me as a client is if she leaves me! I will never leave her. We need a great stylist in this area, and Lawanda fits the bill.

All my East Coasters look no further, we have a stylist who can finally do our hair with the care and treatment we’re accustomed too!!! I’m a native New Yorker/​Floridian. When I first came to California, I could barely find a stylist who would do a roller set/​wrap. It was not common and if they did, it would be a big process for them and then in turn they just overcharged me for getting it done. I have naturally curly frizzy hair and too much blow drying and flat ironing is damaging. I’m so thankful to have met Lawanda! She can do all types of hair and an array styles or treatments. She really knows how to take care of your hair and she’s also an amazing stylist!!! She only uses the finest hair products. That’s important to me. Not to mention her salon is in a very elegant and professional environment, but her company makes you feel like you’re at home getting your hair done by your friend! She’s just that awesome!!! So bottom line: excellent hair stylist and beautician who is personable with impeccable customer service! Hey Bay Area residents, it’s worth the drive wherever you might be! Lawanda is a great hair stylist. She wants you to look good. So she will make sure the hair style looks good on you.

Omg! LaWanda is a cutting goddess! I had a hair emergency! My extensions ions needed to be layered, and my regular stylist couldnt get me in, and i needed them cut asap! I had recently met Lawandas sister, and i rembered she was near by in San Ramon! So, I called her, told her my emergency, and she was so kind to fit me in tonight! I walked in, took out my pony tail, and asked if she could layer them, so they would looked more natural? She said YES! Sat me in her chair, and worked her Magic! I love my cut, and cant wait to style it tomorrow! I m the local brazilian waxer… and I will be refering all of my clients to her!
